I have been traveling to OKC lately and was lucky enough to find The Wedge one day. Now I can’t get enough. This is the best pizza I have ever tasted. I make The Wedge my go-to lunch place every time I come to town. From the food to the service to the atmosphere. its a 10 The Wedge is a must for anyone looking for great pizza. I was there one day when the power went out due to construction in the area. They never missed a beat. Who needs lights when the food is that good! keep up the good work. I love it.

I’ve been coming to The Wedge for years, and it never disappoints. The food is amazing, the vibe is nice and relaxed and the staff is always great. It’s one place I make sure to always bring friends and family from out of town when they come to visit. Also, their BOGO deal on Monday nights is possibly the best Keep It Local deal in OKC. Grab a card and check it out!

Great spot for lunch. My dudes and I enjoyed the«American Pie». Very delicious. Pizza is pricy however you get what you pay for. Patrick was quiet but a great server! Definitely will try to stop here again on future road trips. #CaliLivin

It’s the best of the artsy-fartsy pizza joints in OKC. They have an antipasta plate that rivals any antipasta plate you’ll find away from a coast(no seafood…) The truffle shuffle is a fave, and their $ 5 breakfast grab n’ go has become an occasional pleasure. In fact, the more i think about it, I would like to clone their antipasta plate and breakfast — nobody else in OKC is doing that and it works great. They have a great atmosphere in both locations, the staff is helpful and it’s a pretty good place to take a visitor that wants to have pizza and a good beer.

Many great pizza places have been popping up all around okc, but, for me, the Wedge is the original go to location. They’ve been around longer than all of the others and never disappoint. Surprisingly enough, their grab and go breakfast is the best thing since voiced bread. I’ve had their breakfast pizza called«The Hangover.» It has everything good about breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, and potatoes. On the weekends, they give you gravy for dipping! They also have avocado toast, Nutella toast with fruit, wraps, and quiche. Everything is amazing. Plus, you get coffee with your selection for only $ 5. If I started talking about their lunch and dinner pizza and salad selection, I could go on forever. Once you become a regular, use your Keep It Local card for amazing discounts! It’s buy one get one free on Mondays with a keep it local card!

Went here with a group of friends and while it took a little bit to get a table for us, they did it as soon as one became available. The service was fast, friendly, & knowledgable. I love that that they have so many various pizza options. Stuff you’d never even consider! I got the(gf) prosciutto pizza with figs(can’t remember the name) and took off the arugula. It was amazing. I literally ate the whole thing to myself. Also, just for checking in on Unilocal you get 10% off your order. Or if you are a keep it local card holder, you get free parmesan bread which is really good with oil and balsamic vinegar. I would come back !

On our way thru town we stopped here after looking for recommendations on Unilocal!Totally worth the detour from our highway route. The service was quick and our server was nice. We stopped in like an hour before closing and weren’t made to feel like we were being rushed. The pizza was delicious and not too saucy as ordered!

There are many great pies in our fair city, and we put The Wedge Pizzeria toward the top of the list. Fire-roasted pies, creative, fresh ingredients, and sincere, thoughtful service really hit the mark at The Wedge. For all they offer, the prices are very reasonable. We love that the back porch is more laid back and great for groups, while the main seating area maintains a cozy Spanish café vibe. Try the pancetta wrapped pears while you wait for your pizza! PROS: Really great service. Arugula, roasted nuts, and pancetta are just a few of The Wedge’s fresh ingredients. CONS: They’re not open 24⁄7? PROTIP: Sometimes if you go later in the evening they’ll be roasting nuts for the next day and the entire restaurant smells incredible. BONUSPROTIP: The Wedge has a $ 5 grab and go breakfast that’s quick, easy, and tasty.

There are two locations for the wedge in the city. This is the original. The pizza here is thin crispy crust minimalist type pizza. You aren’t going to get pan fried with lots and lots of toppings like hideaway or something but that’s not why you come here. The pizza is all solid and not your normal pizzas, though you can order the classics if you want, which they do well. They also have great apps with the meatballs and my favorite, the prosciutto wrapped pears with balsamic… so good. This is easily one of the top 4 places for pizza in the city if not top three in my opinion. Pizzas are only like $ 14 or so on average too.

Very pleasantly surprised. The best part of my experience was the phenomenal food and the great staff. Let’s start with the food… We had two pizzas and the prosciutto wrapped pears. The pizzas were 12″ wood fired pizzas with five toppings and three toppings. Cheese counts as one of the toppings. They were awesome! The prosciutto wrapped pears were a tasty treat too. The staff was very professional and personable. The only thing I would recommend more than anything else is to eat inside. The night we went there was a pleasant summer evening but the flies were out of control. The other thing is the area could use a good trimming and the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. Overall I would give them an overall grade of a «B». I will definitely return to enjoy the great food and people.

I really wanted to like this place, especially after reading others’ reviews. We were seated right away at 7 on Sunday night, which was nice. Its a small restaurant inside, but they have an expansive patio. If we go back, we’ll definitely sit outside. Service: 2⁄5 Ridiculously slow service considering they weren’t all that busy. Our server was pleasant, but made no suggestions or seemed all that keen on making sure we had a delightful experience. Food: 2⁄5 We tried the much Unilocaled-about trio appetizer which was very good, but too much for 2 people. We also shared a pizza. The toppings failed to impress, mostly because they weren’t plentiful. The crust was just so-so. Fired baked crust is one of my favorite things on God’s green earth, so maybe my standards are too high. Ambiance: 2⁄5 It was freezing inside. I understand the oven is 400 degrees, but if your patrons are miserable, no one wins. Décor was forgettable.

We tried the Wedge on Western for the first time. Very good. About three years ago I also ate at the original location near Bricktown. It was good as well but not memorable. Parking can be a problem at some of the restaurants along Western. Not at the Wedge however. Lots of free parking right next to the restaurant. Dinner last night at the location on Western was wonderful. I had the prosciutto wrapped pears($ 7) as an appetizer. It was amazing. Generous amounts of balsamic and olive oil. Very good and I would highly recommend it. We shared the shuffle truffle pizza($ 14) and ended up brining half of it home. So tasty. We sat outside in a shady and comfortable area. The outside seating is sheltered from view of the road with an open play area for the kids. You forget that you are right on a major street. We will try this again, for sure. I’m trying to replicate the prosciutto wrapped pears for dinner tonight.(After buying all the ingredients… It’s far cheaper to just go to the Wedge).

The Wedge is absolutely in my top 5 favorite pizza joints in OKC. What makes them so superb, is that they offer $ 5 Grab N’ Go breakfast in the morning! This is not your tiny burrito from Whole Foods kind of breakfast… This is real breakfast. All of their morning items are made from scratch using fresh ingredients. You can usually find some kind of quiche, different types of breakfast burritos, Nutella or hummus toast as well as the Meathorn(a Wedge AM classic) The variety is great, and it is also Vegetarian friendly for all you veggie people out there. On top of delivering these delicious(and relatively healthy) options, you get a hot coffee(or OJ) to go with this– all for just $ 5! The price is great, the food is great and the convenience factor is totally great.(You can get in & out in under 5 min flat) Aside from their breakfast options, their pizza is pretty solid as well. If you can’t figure out which pie to try, go for the Truffle Shuffle. It’s always a crowd favorite! I came here for an event once & we sat on the patio outside & it was so open & peaceful. I believe their patio is used for receptions/special event rentals as well. If you’re looking for a really good, locally owned pizza place– definitely check out the Wedge. You will not be disappointed!

There is a new pizza king in town. And it is not the Wedge. If we were to use noble houses from ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’(Game of Thrones to you people who don’t like to read) for comparison’s sake, the Wedge is basically House Targaryen. They were in power, and everyone was all like, «Oh snap, best pizza? The Wedge, son! You don’t even know.» And then one day, someone was like, «I’m tired of these silver-haired, sister-lovers and their constant need to burn things in their wood fire oven.» It was this moment in history when House Baratheon(err, Empire Slice) was all like«Ours is the Furious Pizza» and with the help of Houses Stark(Joey’s Pizzeria) and Arryn(Sauced, mebbe?) put the kibosh on the Wedge’s reign. And then… a bunch of people died, and Balon Greyjoy(Pizza 23) was all like, «Me too, guys!» And thus began the«War of the Five Pizza Joints» although really, everyone knows the Baratheons(err, the Lannisters) are firmly seated on the Iron Pizza Oven and the world can deal with it. I started with something… and ended with whatever this is now… The Wedge is good. But it is no longer the only player in town. There are pizza joints popping up all over like pizza is some new fandangled invention, and the Wedge needs to step it up if it hopes to remain supreme in the hearts of Oklahomans. Our recent experience was several kinds of disappointing, and this was perhaps due to our higher expectations for the Wedge. There were eight people who decided to converge at the Wedge. Here’s where the Wedge was good: [] Wedge Goodness 1 [] The brisket pizza is quite delicious. The Truffle Shuffle is… good… They’ll let you split pizzas. I don’t remember that being an option before, so that’s cool if it’s new. [] Wedge Goodness 2 [] The service was pretty decent. [] Wedge Goodness 3 [] The crust on any of the pizzas from the Wedge is fantastic. There’s something to be said about a wood fire baked pizza. Here’s where things went wrong: [] Wrong Thing 1 [] The Truffle Shuffle had a piece of bone/cartilage that was only discovered after Tanya M. bit into it. Not pleasant. [] Wrong Thing 2 [] The Wedge Flatbread is… salty and… meh… But it’s free if you flash your KILOK card. So, free meh stuff isn’t hurting anyone. [] Wrong Thing 3 [] Once the eight of us had finished eating, the waiter brought one bill over. I’m sorry, I don’t carry cash. I will never carry cash unless I desperately want some phở, and even then I would rather go to a crappy phở place that accepts cards than a good phở place that doesn’t. So expecting eight people to carry cash(which is really the only way that it would work if you’re going to give one bill) is ridiculous in this day and age. Expecting one person to cover the tab for everyone else is also ridiculous. We requested that the bill be split into three bills. We were informed that it was going to be split as a courtesy this time, and that larger parties aren’t normally allowed to split their bills at the Wedge. Wut? If 2 people dine in, and you say that you don’t want to split the bill, I can understand that. But if a larger party of say… 8(10? 15?) people show up, you’re telling me that one person in that group has to foot the bill for everyone else? Seriously? Let’s not forget that we’re talking approximately $ 15(+ tax/tip) a(good, not great) pizza, and these pizzas are just slightly bigger than personal-sized pizzas at that. House Baratheon can feed four people for like $ 23(+ tax/tip). You keep this kind of nonsense up, and you’re pretty much Daenerys Targaryen constantly going on about her birthright and how she’s the mother of pizzas, but she’s stuck on the other side of the world while House Baratheon sits on the Iron Pizza Oven, and is reveling in the power that is the Plaza District. You ain’t so special no mo. And it’s too bad, because your crust is fantastic, and your pizza is pretty decent(but $ 3 too expensive across the menu). P. S. I actually bought my first KILOK card years ago, because I thought the Wedge Pizzeria’s KILOK discount sounded fantastic. And I have never once taken advantage of that discount, even though I keep buying the KILOK card. For shame, fattie. For shame.

I have not written a review for The Wedge yet? Say whaaaaat? The Wedge is my favorite pizza place and in fact, favorite local restaurant, hands down. In fact, it was the very first local restaurant I happened upon in OKC. I had been living here for a month and very homesick when my BFF came to visit. We love pizza so it was all too perfect when we were driving down Western and saw that glorious painted sign on their building. The Wedge’s pizza is so delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had any other pizza coming close to how good it is(and there are some very good contenders in OKC!). I love that they are veg-friendly. The Vedge is great, but you can ask to have meaty toppings removed. I like to get the Truffle Shuffle sans chicken. If you’re not in the mood for pizza, at least try their trio appetizer — a trio of black olive tapenade, humus, and artichokes with their delicious Wedge bread. I could easily eat that for a meal(and I’m pretty sure I have!) I take everyone I know to The Wedge — my grandma! my aunt! my sister! my staff! Interview candidate! All my friends! I even talked a group of librarians into going here for lunch the other day, and it was quite well-received. Their lunch special of a salad and personal pizza for $ 8 is worth it alone. But point is, I’ve never taken anyone here who’s had a bad time. Ok, one of my staff was disappointed that they don’t service domestic beer, but that’s her deal. The Wedge introduced me to one of my now favorite beers: Leffe Blonde. So drink outside your comfort zone. It’s ok. They got’chu. If I were ever to leave the OKC area, you bet that one of my last meals would be at The Wedge. But for now, I don’t want to imagine a world without it.

The Wedge has great food and drinks. Their pizza is very delicious and tender with great ingredients. It is a nice place for a double date, or a casual hang out with a few friends. I am not sure how big the patio is, but the dining area is small. Take out is a great option and the quality is not compromised. They have good appetizers to compliment the pizza as well.

This place is awesome! They have a great atmosphere and the pizza is outstanding. We sat at the group seat next to the brick oven chimney and had an awesome view. The breadsticks are very good and I love the pizza crust. I unfortunately don’t remember the exact pizza I ordered, simply because I modified it and it was a while back. I just remember being impressed by it. I love the atmosphere here. It’s relaxing and hipster in its execution. Service was good, too.

Not really a big fan of this place to be honest. We got the breadsticks for an appetizer and shared a whole pizza. A 3 star«A-OK» rating suffices because the pizza was just that: A-OK. Pizza wasn’t bad, nor really good. We prefer empire slice’s pizzas much much more.

Grab and Go Breakfast and Coffee! Literally, it’s a grab and go and what more can you ask for when you forgot to make breakfast and need to stop by somewhere and grab it quickly before you go to work. Well, this is what I did this morning. I happened to stop by The Wedge Pizzeria as I’ve passed by this place a few times in the morning and had seen the sign for the Grab and Go Breakfast. They have different selections of breakfast burritos already made up and you just choose what you want and the coffee is optional. Not too bad, it was warm and had a good taste. The portion is quite hefty as I had the burrito that had potatoes, Italian sausage, and eggs in it wrapped in a spinach tortilla. Definitely a good choice for those days you are on the run.
