Chuck E. Cheese’s

I haven’t been to one of these since I was a child, which means my memories of this place are mostly magical. I knew better than to have the same expectations as an adult, but this place left me pretty underwhelmed.
We came on a Saturday afternoon. There were a lot of people, but it wasn’t ridiculously packed. The service was pretty bad from the start though. None of the staff we interacted with were friendly, and we stood an awkwardly long period of time at the front counter before anyone even acknowledged our presence.
We got a special from an online coupon for $ 40 that included a large pizza, drinks, and 100 tokens. The pizza was a good size, but VERY greasy. I don’t usually feel compelled to pat pizza down with a napkin, but I did on this one. As far as taste goes, it was no better or worse that any other run-​of-​the-​mill fast food pizza.
Most games are 1 token each, so the tokens lasted us a good couple hours (even with my fiancé and I playing some games here and there). A few games took our tokens though, and a couple others were out of tickets, which was disappointing. That said, we still ended up with a little over 250 tickets, which got us a few cheap toys and a couple pieces of candy, but it’s still something new in a kid’s eyes.
Overall, it’s a good bargain for a few hours of fun with kids, but this location seems poorly managed. Other locations appear to have better reviews, so we might try one of those next time.

This was the worst CEC we’ve been to.
Machines took tokens and didn’t allow to play game. Three machines malfunctioned while we were there.
We stood at the ticket prize counter for over 5 minutes with employees walking by and making eye contact with us and still did not help us.
Service was terrible and many games didn’t work. I won’t go back and encourage you not to.
