Great fast food with wonderful flavor! never been disappointed. Wet burrito and Street tacos are a favorite. friendly fast service. Give them a try and wish they would open a location in far NWOKC.

I was pleasantly surprised during my visit here. The food is very tasty and cheap. It’s REAL Tex-Mex fast. Guacamole was fantastic.

Consistently quality food. I’ve been lunching here for years and can honestly say I’ve only disliked the food once out of at least 3 dozen visits. The tacos and burritos are about the same as anywhere but the specialty items like street tacos, tamales and tortas are always better than average. That’s the way I order. The service is great. The owner is always there, helpful and friendly no matter how busy they are.

TR is an excellent fast food tex mex joint that is family owned. Great service and care taken to the food. Their street tacos esp their tacos de asadas are ¡fantasticos! Home made salsas are great(ask for their warm hot salsa). They have platters that rate well and are filling with a very affordable price. I always stop here on the way home from work and grab some of their crunchy tacos. If you’re looking for a quick bite with good quality tex mex in a fast food form I recommend TR. Edit(5÷12÷15): yep, still ¡fantasticos!

The food is excellent but be prepared if you come for lunch… it is VERYBUSY! You may have to wait and grab a table as someone is leaving. Better yet, wait til 12:45pm-ish to come. Quite a bit of the crowd has thinned by then! Orrrrrrr, go thru the drive-thru!

My girlfriend told me she would buy me something else if Taco Rico wasn’t any good. Taco Rico turns out to be pretty good. This is the first time I had been there so I can’t guarantee that it’s always going to be good, but I enjoyed it. I will go back and explore more of the menu. I got nachos, because nachos are easily the best food on earth. Oh and a taco, and the meat seems realer here than at Taco Bell.

Wound up going to Taco Rico as a second choice during a weekday lunch. Glad we came here! Never heard of the place, but was impressed with it. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is better than you’d expect. I over heard a woman at another table also comment on how much she liked the food. So I wasn’t the only one who’d never been there and enjoyed it. Fast, polite service, not very expensive and good in my opinion.

I got one of their combos which came with a drink and a couple of tacos and one burrito. They could use more seasoning in their ground beef because it tasted bland to me. The salsa they provided was really runny and had no flavor. Their prices are dirt cheap, I’ll give them that. I’m not used to paying less than $ 6 for all that food plus a drink. The dining room was packed and there was hardly anywhere to sit during lunch so it seems like business is going well for them. It was loud and the interior wasn’t fancy but they kept the place pretty clean. I appreciated that they got me in and out in less than 10 mins so service was quick and friendly.

You know, it’s an independent quick-serve Mexican restaurant. My expectations were not high. However, the location was convenient for me so I decided to give Taco Rico a try. The menu seemed to have a decent number of options without be gratuitous. I got a modified taco dinner with carne asada. The steak had a nice flavor: seasoned rather than merely salty, with enough heat to excite your tastebuds without making them scream in pain. The beans were good, heated properly without being dried out or runny. Lots of cilantro and onions topped it off. The gentleman at the counter(the manager or owner) was cordial and helpful. There wasn’t a thing wrong with my meal or the service. The space was clean and, while obviously recycled from a former restaurant, didn’t give me any negative feelings. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is I wasn’t wowed. That’s not a bad thing, though. I would definitely pick Taco Rico heads up over Bell, Bueno, or Mayo.

I’m not gonna lie: Taco Rico can be hit or miss. I’m not a fan of their ground beef and their chicken quesadilla wasn’t any better than something I can make at home. But, for me it gets 4 stars because what it does well it does REALLY well. If you like street-style tacos, then they swing for the fences with their barbacoa and carne asada tacos. The corn tortillas are fresh, the meat is well seasoned, and they aren’t stingy on the onions and cilantro. Their salsa is more traditional than what most people are used to. It’s a touch too watery in texture for my taste, but the flavor is there and I like that their guacamole is more than just mashed up avocado. A lot of people come here thinking they’re going to get Taco Bueno. They’re not. The style is more traditional, but still convenient and a much higher quality.

i’m not sure what i did before taco rico. there is really nothing more wonderful than a drive-thru at a local establishment. it’s perfect for a lunch run, and the ingredients used are super fresh and tasty. the service is excellent and the restaurant stays clean. the inside is exactly what you’d expect from a fast-food tex-mex joint. nothing fancy here, but honestly good food at very low prices.

Not a bad little taco joint. It’s on par with a taco bell. Family run and family friendly. The pros Quick Cheap The cons Greasy
