Sonic Drive-In

I will say that I usually never, ever give a bad review but the experience warranted one.
I had through the drive-​thru today and my experience was an uncomfortable one, to say the least.
The girl at the window, Marla, must have had a bad day and it just transcended into her work ethic.
She seemed annoyed at me as I smiled and greeted her arriving to pay for my food. She silently took the money and glared at me (without saying a single word) handed over my change from the money I had given her and, as I thanked her and remained smiling at her, rolled her eyes as she walk away to prepare my order. It was certainly uncomfortable and I will not be returning to this location.

They have the most ghetto people working there. Workers and assistant manager Bryan must really hate their lives. Never have I ever had a bad experience at a fast food chain but tonight they were not even busy and the girl that took our order would not even let us finish without saying she had other customers to help. We literally asked what the cost of something was without it being a meal. It’s not that hard chick. I feel bad for the owner. That Sonic is awful. It’s sad when you hire people that bring down your business. Not that hard to do your job.

As convenient as it is to have a fast food place only two miles from work, they are on a very busy corner next to a gas station and the on ramp to the highway. By the time I am able to eat my chicken/​burger/​burrito/​ect, it is luke warm, but honestly I can only blame sonic for picking a bad location (I don’t eat until I get back to my work parking lot).
The service is stellar. From taking my order to taking my money, the staff is pleasant, friendly, and as quick as they could be with the rush of customers during a weekday lunch.
I do think that they should think about installing another menu in the drive-​thru lane so customers can view it while awaiting their turn to order.
The drinks are always done well, but their chicken is a tad small and over priced.

This sonic is right off of 23^rd st and the highway. This Sonic gets a little crowded, but unlike most, this one was built a little larger than ordinary. The location is bigger and they have more employees, so they can actually accommodate the larger crowd.
This Sonic is a bit of a diamond in the rough. This is mainly because the staff is extremely pleasant here! Not sure why, but they are usually far kinder here than any other Sonic.
As far as Sonic goes, this one is really nice. The best part is they are super quick, and its right off the highway.
