On April 8th, we like taco buenos, so we stopped on the way home, it was dirty and plum nasty, looked like the floor and tables had not been cleaned all day, trash even falling out of the bins. The staff, was arguing who was going to tAke and make the order, it was 9:10pm, the food was ok but the order was messed up, we had already waited for 20 mins, The salsa bar was almost empty, I finally gave up, and my wife and I ate and left, it was 9:45 pm there were people still waiting on there food, when we left, and they had already shut the drive thru lights and board off, this place is a joke, what has happened to all the taco buenos, they are all bad reviews, and crap, and the price keeps going up, it won’t take much to run them out of business, look like too me!

Delightfully cheap late-​night fast food Mexican that puts Taco Bell to shame. You’ll be shocked by the amount of food you can order for under 5 bucks. Party tacos and tostadas are particular highlights. And if you’re feeling brave, the cheesecake chimichanga.

I was looking for a quick taco fix when I was doing some shopping on May and thought I would give this place a try. I liked how the place looks updated and nice both on the inside and out.
When I went they seemed to be terribly understaffed… not sure if this is an every day thing… but the guy who took our order mentioned that it was only him and another manning the front, drive-​thru, and preparing the food.
They seriously under-​stuff their tacos when it comes to meat, but over-​stuff when it comes to cheese (unfortunately for me, I like it the other way around)! And they also got my order wrong… but I think it was probably because they seemed a little stressed, so I quickly got over it and ate my incorrectly made, lightly-​stuffed tacos in silence.
I might try this establishment again to give them another chance since it may have just been a bad day.

Party taco combo only $ 3.99 2 tacos, burrito, nachos and a drink. Yes the nachos are cheap but add jalapeño peppers & pico. Thursdays are 50 cent tacos. Now kids eat free Monday thru friday.

Cons: Quality Control in Drive Thru needs MAJOR work
There needs to be a manager or Area Manager going over the
drive thru items. I have gotten in the past week:
1. Drinks handed to me with no snapped lids, causing spillage
2. Food without Silverware or Napkins (Just how do you eat a Bueno Chilada?)
3. Food missing items or not made right (Taco Salads missing Jalepeno Ranch
dressing, Taco’s missing tomatoes and Sour Cream)
Instead of a remodel, they should have down a demolish of this Taco Bueno.
If you go thru the drive thru, be prepared to go back in to get your order right.

Look, this isn’t On the Border or Abuelos. It’s fast food. And Taco Bueno has always been a niche food… people either love it or hate it. Me? I love it. Muchaco and beef potato burrito is a great meal for $ 4. This particular location is clean, friendly, busy but fast, and located in an easily accessible location. What more do you want? 5 stars.

Great food, always friendly. As I go again and again, they have gotten to know my name and welcome me every time. It’s become the lunch place of record for me over the last year or so.
I would recommend this location to just about anyone. Hope you have a similar great experience!
