I’m in love with Taco Bueno, since, I grew up in Tulsa. But, this location is extremely slow every time I go. Today being Taco Platter Tuesday for $ 2.99. Seemed like they didn’t care at all for being slow. Also, the salsa bar is really dirty and not changed often. Why can’t they care about the quality of their food?

Unless you want to get run over in the micro sized parking lot, do not go to this location. The drive thru should be considered a traffic hotspot on city maps. Additionally, the taquitos(and I use the word loosley) were awful. I’ve had better food out of the over used grease in a cheap convenience store. They like to short you items in the drive thru as well. So, if you’re a masochist, enjoy the self-abuse.

I love taco bueno but this place always seems to be packed. And being short handed on staff does not help serving time. Thay have advertising for the frozen lemonades but the machine is broken. Food is usually decent though. I will give them one more star for cleanliness.

So ridiculous this place we love Bueno but every time we come here past a certain time it’s horrendous. Food is cold I can’t even tell you how many times my food got screwed up. A lady actually told me she«didn’t have time to get me salsa» it’s sad cause we love it but we are gonna have to find something else. Workers are crap. Food is crap. Only good in the daytime. Don’t go here at night!

Went to this location during my shift, and although the staff was polite and friendly, the food was not up to my usual standards when it comes to fast food cuisine. The meat was room temperature, the taco shell broke apart the moment I touched it, and the fine people preparing my food seemed exhausted and overworked to the point where they were unable to adequately exercise their culinary skill with any sort of diligence. I will be taking business to the Waffle House dumpster across the street.

Always slow service. Was just now told it would be a 20 min wait because 3 employees didn’t show up for their shift.

It was clean inside. Salsa bar was clean. However, this location skimps on your order giving you less than other buenos I’ve been to. Edmond, Moore, and NW Expressway give you a lot. This location sucks. I came in the day before at 630 for breakfast, no one was working. FML that day.

Since moving here recently, we decide to give Taco Bueno a try. We always seen a long line from the drive through and assumed it would be similar to Taco Bell. That’s where we went wrong… we assumed. We went inside to eat and was slightly impressed with the menu and the salsa/condiment bar they had to offer. Well, to play it safe, I ordered regular beef tacos and my husband ordered a burrito. After we took one bite of our meal, we both looked at each other. We took another bite, just to see if it would taste different than our first bite. Well, it didn’t. We were both trying to describe the taste. The ground beef tasted the way wet dog food would smell! Sorry, that’s the only way I can think of describing it! My husband agreed and also said it tasted like canned corned beef and hash. We were sitting there– just observing the line of people waiting to order and trying to catch a glimpse of what they ordered and why everyone seemed to love it! It was puzzling. Needless to say, if we want something similar to Taco Bell… we’ll just stick to Taco Bell. Taco Bueno… not so bueno.

I must admit I have not been here in about six months(I go to another) so it could have changed, but for years this has consistently been the worst taco bueno I have ever encountered. I love Bueno and hate that this is the only close one. The last 3 times I went there, my order in the drive thru was wrong– and sometimes REALLY wrong. The worst was when it took me over 30 minutes(yes I timed it because it was so ridiculous) to get my drive thru order. I had to pull up and wait forever. They finally bring it out to me. I check the items and it’s wrong. I have to walk in to get it corrected and they acted like I interrupted them. No sorry, no apology, nothing. The guy go and gets the missing items and throws them towards me on the counter and walks off. Another time I ordered for 4 people and asked for a lot of salsas. I got 2. Oh, and I, of course, was again missing 3 items that I ordered. I shared my poor experiences with some friends and they also stated they would rather drive to the Bueno on May and 63rd than have to deal with this sorry excuse for a restaurant. Stay away from this place unless you want to get about half of what you paid for.

It’s rare in today’s low-service world to be greeted at a drive-thru by someone who understands what ‘customer first’ really means. The majority of the time, what you get is someone who clearly doesn’t care about providing quality service and is just waiting for their shift to end. Tonight, however, I drove through this Taco Bueno and was greeted by a polite voice who knows how to use the words ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ and actually cared about getting my order right. Once my order was placed and I got to the window, I was greeted with a smile by a young blonde girl who, again, used her manners and treated me as if it was important to her whether I ever come back to this location or not. She apologized for the wait and thanked me for my business. While the food may not be the highest of quality at Taco Bueno, and they even left one taco off of my order, I was pleasantly surprised by the cooperative, positive attitude I was greeted with. This really is all I ask for when I choose to spend my money at a fast-food restaurant. If the manager happens to read this, he/she should take the time to find out who this girl was and praise her for her customer-first attitude. THAT is what makes a business profitable.
