A good alternative to the crazy busy Starbucks store down the road. This one is inside Target. The hours are limited but the staff makes good drinks.

Occasionally when I’m at Target and pass by the Starbuck’s storefront right inside the doors, I decide I’ll grab something to snack on or enjoy some high calorie beverage. Every time I’ve come in, there are two+ people working. Very coincidentally, one is always on break. Because of this, the one that isn’t on break takes forever to take your order because they are having to make the previous customers’ drink. Yes, every time. The coffee is really hot upon being served; the pastries are room temperature-ish. The chain provides consistency in their taste, so I’m rating on customer service purely.

It’s Starbucks and I love my peppermint mocha frappuccinos, so naturally… I end up here a coupla times a year. I’ve never been a huge Starbucks fan, but I’m never displeased when I have a drink of theirs. Outside of their specialty drinks, I enjoy their«Breakfast Blend» coffee that can be bought by the bag. It’s one of the few coffees that I can drink that doesn’t upset my stomach, so that’s legit in and of itself. Overall, it’s an above average coffee shop, but I’d rather go to a local coffee shop if I’m close… ie Elemental Coffee Roasters. Keep it local, okay? ;)

Starbucks is pretty good when the coffee craving hits you like. They even have pretty good frozen drinks, pastries and breakfast grub. I tend to stop by my local Starbucks about twice a week on the way to work. The only reason I don’t give it more stars is because it doesn’t do anything to knock my socks off. The coffee is good… not great. I like really good coffee. I like coffee that will make me forget that there is bad coffee in the world. They just don’t have that next level of coffee that some places can offer.
