I ate there February 8 at around 1:00 pm one word «nasty» is the word i would use to discribe everything from the food to the incompetent employees!

Dang you, ESPN. Those Popeyes commercials for hushpuppy shrimp worked. What started as a brief and pointed trip to Target resulted in what normally happens: an excursion that involves leaving with three times as many items as you needed to buy. After meandering around, Popeyes next door sounded awfully good to my gurgly stomach. I felt some shame checking in on Unilocal,but dangit… Popeyes is soooo good compared to the other fast food fried chicken places! Service is really subjective based on who is working the shift that day. Yeah, attitude and consistency definitely starts from the top with leadership, but these guys had their A game on. Super polite cashier, manager that peeked at the drive thru window hollered a big hello at me, and super hot and fresh fried fast food… #AlliterationLikeaBoss I ordered red beans and rice and got fries. While they were fresh and hot, I felt too dirty eating hushpuppy shrimp, a basket of fries, and the most transsaturated fat-packed biscuit you’ve ever seen, so I ended up chucking them… which was probably the better choice for my waistline. Today was a great experience with these guys, worth way way more than that measly one star they have from the past!

I used to really like this Popeye’s. When Popeye’s says the chicken is spicy, the chicken really is spicy! But last month I went in to purchase a larger family sized order of chicken all white meat. The girl working the window reminded me that there would be an extra charge for all white. Which I readily agreed to. Everything was going fine when the manager decided that I could not have all white and would rather not have my $ 30 worth of business! No explanation or appology! Like a mother telling a toddler«because I said so that’s why.» I know this isn’t policy since I have purchased the same order MANY times. Who does that?!

I have tried to come here twice in the last few days to try their new chicken and each time I’m met at the door by a employee telling me that they are closed due to some kitchen issue. Would be a wise thing to get that fix.

If I could give no stars, I would. I haven’t been there is months after multiple orders being incorrect. This place is always out of something. Tonight it was tartar sauce and green beans. The soda was flat and I ordered the shrimp and fish combo I got home and had no shrimp. My fiancé got the tenders with fries. The fries were cold and they only gave him one sauce for 5 tenders. The workers are very unprofessional. How hard is it to get an order right… I truly don’t understand how they can mess up every order every time I go there. I guess it’s my fault for continuing to do business there. Tonight was the final opportunity for this incompetent group of individuals to ruin my dinner.

Like the food, but the staff is terrible. Last time we were here we ordered through the drive thru we were asked to pull ahead and wait. There is NO place to pull ahead and wait. We pulled into a parking spot and waited, we waited over 20 mins. For fast food that is absurd. At one point someone did come out and check on us, but there is no need of a 20 min wait for fast food EVER. The time we visited before that we had a rather long wait as well. When placing our order my friend requested to have no side instead he requested a couple of jalapenos. The person taking our order, who I believe may have been the manager, stated she could not do this. This is something that has been done many times in the past. After being told rudely a couple of times this could not be done my friend conceded and just requested a side of potato. When we received our order the soda was flat and the side my friend had ordered was not there, although we paided for it. To top it off we watched the«manager» break the ice by throwing it against the dirty floor before putting it in the ice machine.

It usually takes at least 10 minutes to go through the drive thru and they always get something wrong with my order. On my most recent visit the man taking my order got all of it wrong and it took 7 minutes to order because 1) he didn’t ever ask me what I would like to order 2) in the middle of ordering he walked away 3) eventually someone else came to take my order and we had to start all over. They are slow slow slow and often times rude. I wouldn’t recommend going to this Popeyes.
