First time coming, I ordered The Flying Pig and they were out so I got a fried catfish with okra. Man! I’m glad they were out because that was the best– so juicy and flavorful. The okra were cooked perfectly till they were crunchy and HOT. I WOULD def recommend this place. A lot of people have complaints of the seating– this was an old Starbucks or suppose to be Starbucks so yes, it is small but sometimes you got to have a little place so you can spend your money else where to give customers what they came there for! I always enjoy eating here. The smothered seafoods fries is my go to meal. If you have never been and plan to go here, I recommend going early, when they open to avoid the rush.

I order a ½ bushel of steam crabs, they where the worst crabs that I every had. All through they replaced them with 3lb of crab legs. I had to leave my father’s day cookout to come back to the restaurant. I will never order seafood from they again. $ 55.00 in the trash. Thanks a lot, the rate should be –1

OKC finally got a seafood shack for some tasty goodness. This place is small with a few tables and wall stools inside + a few covered outdoor tables. I came with a group of 7 and the staff was so incredibly nice. They made sure to get 2 tables together for us inside. Service was 5 stars and super friendly. A+ service. Food was 4.5 stars with the shrimp and grits, smothered fries and catfish. The only thing missing was more shrimp or bigger shrimp for the shrimp and grit meal. The only seafood item missing is oysters. I will have to try a Kool aid pickle next time. Prices are reasonable. Overall service and food rounds to a 4 since OKC is in need of a seafood shack and I can’t do half ratings.

Wow!!! For a little spot just off the highway… that’s some good eats!!! Lots of choices so decision was tough, but narrowed down to two and the lady behind the counter gave some spot on advice!!! Cheesy Lobster Melt sand which… awesome!!! Add okra, cheesy grits and their garlic fries… yum! Rest of group all had similar reviews on the blackened catfish and blackened chicken. Mac and Cheese and broccoli were good compliments to this deliciousness. This would be a spot to come back to anytime we are in town… we were a little afraid to try the kool aid pickles… just doesn’t sound right… maybe next time, but saw on other reviews that they are well liked.

This spot was hinted to me by my Barber at Thunder Cuts in OKC, LL Cool Fade… the best Shrimp and Grits I ever had, the Gumbo was to die for… Best part was the Sweet Potato Pecan Pie, perfect combination. Will be back ASAP.

Togo order @ 12:30PM They only prefer to take phone orders if the order is larger than $ 50. I came in waiting in line, about 5th in line. By the time I got to the front, about 10 – 15 groups came following. This place was packed for dine in and togo! I ordered the crawfish po boy, easy on the siracha mayo. Pretty good. They pan fried the bread to make the inside crunchy and the outside stays soft. Not a lot of services involved in ordering togo, but both ladies I asked for suggestions were quite nice and helpful. I’ll be back with guests next.

It seriously off the hook, not much seating on inside for a group. But they also have outside seating as well Staff was friendly and funny food was OFFTHEHOOK literally! We shall be coming back again!!!

I’ve eaten at Off the Hooks seafood food truck numerous times and really enjoyed it… I was super excited to try out their new location and I was not disappointed. The customer service was great and the food was hot and flavorful. Their food reminds me of something I would get a my grandparents with some elevated flavors… only thing I’d change is the seating, it is pretty limited and cramped.

Every item that I have eaten from Off the Hook, starting from their food truck and carrying through to the resteraunt has been excellent. The chef really knows his way around the kitchen and puts his own spin on dishes for that little something extra. The wait staff are always friendly and helpful.

The fried catfish was excellent! Large thick piece of catfish with a nicely seasoned cornmeal batter. I had macaroni and cheese for my side, great flavor, lots of cheese, pasta was overdone for my preference but it was still good. That’s the only reason I gave it 4*, I would have given 4 ½ if I could. My husband had the Flying Pig sandwich(pulled pork) with garlic fries. He really liked both. The staff is very friendly and effecient. We will definitely be returning we saw several other items on the menu we want to try!

The food was pretty good. I ordered the fries covered in a lobster cream sauce with fried shrimp and a piece of catfish. I wasn’t too impressed with the fries. But the fried catfish was really good. The best part about it was actually the pineapple lemonade that I ordered. My complaints are that the space is small; there aren’t enough seats during lunch. I thought the food was priced too high as well.

Welcome to the hood. Well almost, but they certainly do cater the the stereotype of ghetto taste appeal. However, who ever said that was a bad thing? When you see that the catfish basket on the menu you will notice that it only comes with one piece and a side. This here is American and we like to have 40 pieces and three sides because why not? You don’t need it. The fish portion is very large, and you get so many fries that you’ll wonder how long it will take you to eat them. The seasoning is too exquisite to be from a place that looks like a knock off Pei Wei. One upsetting tidbit is that the chicken will take you a long time to receive and others in your party will get to eat their delicious morsels of heaven while you watch with jealousy and disdain. Wonderful combination of economic classes in one location of recreation.

This is probably a 3.5 star review, but I can’t quite get to 4. I encountered Off the Hook at a fundraiser involving several food trucks at OU. My group went with the fish and chips, as well as the loaded fries. I found the price(around $ 8 as I recall) to be more than reasonable given the portion size, quality of food, and flavor. Additionally, I know it was only a brief encounter, but I found both employees I spoke with to be very friendly. Even thought they cook your food to order, it doesn’t take long. The piece of fish is large and seasoned well. The breading was a little difficult to pull apart in spots. It was crispy, but difficult to bite through. It’s not something I’ve encountered before. But, the fish was flaky and moist; cooked very well. Really good fish underneath. The tartar sauce, as other Unilocalers note, is legit. Some of the best, if not the best I’ve ever had. Clearly homemade, seasoned well and just the right consistency. This place could bottle that stuff and be a successful business. The loaded fries were incredible. This was surprising, because the fries served with the fish and chips needed to be fried longer. They lacked crispness and were too soggy in spots. But, the fries covered with a creamy and flavorful sauce, cheese, and crab. I thought it would be too much, but it wasn’t. It was one of the best dishes we ate all evening, and it was an evening filled with food truck goodness. I would absolutely order these again, and will seek out Off the Hook to do so. Just when you think it’s safe to go back in the water, cheese, crab, and cream tastes fantastic together. Very pleasant surprise.
