My husband wanted to eat at Vito’s after his Unilocal search. We show up and see the Vito’s sign outside, walk up to the door cover and walked through the door to the right. Did not see there was another door to the left. We go to the bar to wait for a table and have drink. We noticed there is Irish music playing and think nothing of it as it was St. Patrick’s Day just the day before. We are seated and given menus and notice this is not the Italian menu we reviewed on Unilocal the night before. Turns out the Italian Vito’s is next door with access to this place and they share a kitchen run by a husband and wife team. Talk about the best of both worlds. We stayed at Land and Sea and ordered the muscle appetizer. AMAZING! Followed by Shrimp and Grits which was very delicious! Can’t wait to actually try Vito’s next time. Land and Sea is a nice gem of a place.

We LOVE Land and Sea. Fantastic food. We love fish and finally found a terrific restaurant that offers more than just salmon and catfish. Also good beef selections for my husband. And best of all, it’s quiet. We can talk!

I was kind of upset about Sean Cummings closing. I think it was one the best restaurants in OKC. However, my wife and girlfriend wanted seafood, so I suggested this place. It was a good suggestion. We ordered two of the specials(salmon and sea bass). The salmon was good, but the sea bass was amazing! Perfectly prepared. I had the lamb shank stew. Mmmmmmmm… All was amazing, but… BUT, the dessert. Get the bread pudding and the port marinated pears. Those were exactly what dessert should be! Not too sweet, complex but still simple. Just perfect. Top it all off, the service was great. We wanted for nothing, while not being accosted every 5 minutes. Not sure why the place was empty on a Friday. This place needs to be visited. Take your spice here, you will get many brownie points, with a very reasonable price tag! Oh, and the fried oyster appetizer! Crap balls, it was good! Fried perfectly; a nice crust, while still being tender on inside.

The layout is the first thing that catches your attention when you walk in. Land and Sea is a smaller more intimate resturant. The food was excellent, we started with the shrimp appetizer. My wife had the pork loin and I had the lamb shanks, both were cooked well and tasted better. Our only complaint was the service was a bit slow but other than that it was a great meal. Plenty of drink options as well.

We came her on a Saturday evening without a reservation and were greeted immediately and with a friendly smile. Our waitress allowed us to choose our own table and dropped off the menus. Our drink orders were taken and served promptly. We ordered the mussels as an appetizer and they were the BEST mussels I’ve ever had. The paella was gummy and somewhat dry — I had to keep squeezing lemons on the rice just to get a little moisture. I do not recommend this dish. The spinach salad was delicious, the Caesar salad was just OK. The bread pudding is an absolute must for dessert!!! The service here is top notch and for that reason we will be back again to try other entrees.

Food: 3⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 Cleanliness: 4⁄5 Décor & Style: 2⁄5 My Shepard’s Pie was A-OK. Not great, not horrible. Slightly on the salty side vs good flavor. My empanada was not good, will not order again. Service was slightly on the slow side, but I think they thought our table was a «sit and talk and don’t bother them» type group so they never really asked us if we needed anything, we had to get their attention. However, they were very pleasant. Décor is small and cramped. I’ve said this before and i’ll say this again, we are not NYC or an urban city, we are statistically the 2nd largest city in the US(by land) so I expect everywhere I go to be big, roomy, spacious! It is near where I live so maybe I will not mind trying another dish next time, but I won’t be ordering the empanada or Shepard’s pie again.

We were very impressed with Land and Sea when we walked in on a Wednesday night. They have a great layout, and a nice bar, and the people leaving as we were walking in recommended the Seabass, which I was eager to try. The owner personally seated and served us, and was very knowledgeable about the menu and sources for their seafood specials. They also have Guiness on tap and know how to serve it properly :-D They serve other«Land» options such as a Shepherd’s Pie, Pork Tenderloin, etc., but we were in the mood for the«Sea» part of the menu. We started with the Mussels in the Ginger Coconut buttery sauce, and it was amazing! Soooo many mussels, and we used our bread for dipping in the sauce at the end, omg it was so good. My husband got the Mako Shark Tostadas, and I tried them and loved them. My Seabass was the clear winner, it was done perfectly! It was served with whipped potatoes that had this amazing spicy pepper added to it and grilled vegetables. 5⁄5 will return asap!

Land and Seamus delicious. Excellent seafood at reasonable prices. Sean always provides excellent culinary creations and is always ready to go the extra mile to serve his customers. And as always it’s the best Guiness in town. Try the oysters and Sea Bass, must not miss items.

I was surprised when we arrived thinking we were going to the Irish pub but pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! While the newly renovated space lacked warmth, the shrimp and grits was to die for and I don’t usually use that term. We started out sitting at the bar enjoying a nice amber tapped beer before moving to a table for dinner. The wait staff was limited but we practically had the place to ourselves so it didn’t matter. She was pleasant and professional. I can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I went here for dinner for our 5-year anniversary. He booked the reservation online and included a note that it was our anniversary. As we were being shown to our table by our waiter, he wished us a happy anniversary. I thought that was a great little personal touch! For our appetizer, we ordered the BBQ grilled oysters with a gorgonzola dipping sauce. They were amazing and it came with a little salad in the middle so it pulled double duty! For dinner, you can order off the menu, but I recommend hearing the specials and ordering that way. My husband and I each ordered a different fish special and then shared. I got the potato crusted Chilean sea bass served over a cream cheese type sauce. I would have NEVER put cream cheese with sea bass, but I promise you will not be disappointed by ordering this dish. It is hands down the best sea bass I have ever had! My husband ordered the pompaneau(sp?) with a vera cruz sauce. It was also really good, but paled in comparison to the sea bass. For dessert, our waiter offered to buy dessert as our anniversary gift. We ordered the flourless chocolate torte and it was delicious! It was the perfect size for sharing and the perfect balance between not being overly sweet and being decadent. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re hanging out with an old friend instead of eating out at a restaurant. This will definitely be one to put on the regular rotation!

My boyfriend and I went for a drink and walked out saying it was a $ 30 waste. We drank half of our poorly mixed drinks and left. The restaurant was completely empty and the bartender didn’t smile, and she couldn’t talk and make a drink at the same time, so trying to be friendly and ask questions meant that we had to wait longer for her to make our drinks. The drinks that we ordered from the menu were NOT measured and tasted awful. Couldn’t even finish them, and to top it off she over billed us on our tab, but we didn’t even tell her because we just wanted out. Bad experience. Will not be going back.

Sean Cummings new resto is wonderful. We tried the barbecue oysters for appetizer and we were not disappointed. Perfect warmth in oysters and the bleu cheese dipping sauce perfected the experience. Tonight they offered paella which brought back memories of Barcelona. Great culinary experience and service!

Really enjoyed the dinner. The mussels are different from the Pub, but are wonderful. Service was great. Sean came out to greet us and other patrons. Just had a great time. If you want to treat yourself come to Land and Sea.

Local winner! Maybe best value all around restaurant in OKC. The quality is tops, the portions are big, everyone took home a to go box. My girlfriend is a server at one of the best steakhouses in town and nor easily impressed… She loved it. The wine and beer list is impressive and underpriced… Go before they figure it out. If you can’t get reservations go next door to Vito’s, Italian perfection.
