Great little restaurant, my language of «little restaurant» is Unilocalese meaning it’s so small and popular, try to stay away from weekends and if you do stop by on a weekend go late lunch or early dinner so that you’re not waiting in line. Ample parking, spotlessly clean throughout including the banyos,(restrooms). Very reasonably priced, we ordered a whole grilled chicken, fantastic fresh French fries, perfectly prepared plantains(similar to bananas), fried with small amount of oil. Immediate, efficient, friendly, and accurate service. Table, chairs, items on table were spotless! Authentic Peruvian fare at this fantastic restaurant. The grilled chicken had that grilled crispy skin, was very flavorful, moist, not a huge amount of grease. Very very good. Enjoyed by my ten year old, my four year old, wife, and I and we took a quarter of the chicken to go. Fries were literally the best fries I’ve ever had, deep fried, hit crispy, without being greasy. I could tell the fries were prepared in a good quality, clean, high heated oil(very little grease retained in fries). Whole chicken, large family side of fries, large family side of plantains was a very very reasonable $ 20.18! And we had another meal of chicken for one person to take home. I really didn’t look at other dishes or dessert but the menu did have several other types of Peruvian fare. Really really good! I’ll be back.

First time at this place, recommended by a Silesian friend. Inauspicious façade, but the food is fresh and wonderful. I had papa rellena with salsa criolla – a ball of mashed potatoes stuffed with marinated beef and raisins and then fried to make a crust. The salsa is white with cilantro and hot peppers.

They are cookin up some tasty stuff in this hole in the wall. I would reference this place as a «poor man’s La Brasa». Definitely no ambiance to be had here. However, the small brightly colored little place is endearing in it’s own way. We were the only diners in the place, so our service was quick and attentive. There is quite a bit to choose from on the menu– seafood, chicken, and red meat options. Most items are simple combinations. We started with the ceviche mixto, which was very good. We had the tacu tacu and the chicken w/side dishes of yucca(similar to french fries) and plantains(really yummy). Everything had good flavor and the prices were significantly lower than what you would pay for similar dishes at La Brasa. The sauces complimented the food well. We shared the Peruvian beer, which wasn’t half bad(that’s the only alcohol to be found here). The food all seemed very fresh and was colorful and lovely on the plates. However, don’t expect ‘foodie’ presentation with designs of colorful sauce dots on the plate. I will likely be back to try more things when I want a low key dinner with no frills and affordable prices.

First I am Peruvian and I grew up on this food. I ordered the Lomo Saltado, the rice had no flavor, and the meat was very tough. Lomo is one of my favorite dishes and I am sad this was just bad. The service was ok, but the waitress didn’t even ask me how I liked the food. Won’t be going back.

This place is AMAZING. I had the best lomo saltado I’ve ever had. They also have Inca Cola. :-)

Having just moved into OKC from the East Coast that’s full of diverse food choices, Naylamp was a breath of fresh air. If you’re looking for fancy, pretentious food, then don’t come here. But if you’re looking for a hole in the wall place with good food & real people, this is the place to be. The Peruvian chicken was good and juicy. Loved the sauces. Plaintains were delicious! Flan was not too sweet and a good texture. The beef on the Tacu Tacu was a little dry, but still very well seasoned. The only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that we’ve had better Peruvian on the East Coast and that’s our standard. But this place tops many, we will surely be back!

Love this place. Just found out about it a month ago and have been three time since. Great food and drinks. I recommend the Lomo saltado.

Back in November 2015, I had the ceviche. The octopus was a little tough, the flavors were good though. The owner brought out a sampler of 3 peruvian beverages that they serve. No charge to us, just to try. All were good, but since we’re diabetic couldn’t partake in a «full» drink. I will go back to try another dish.

While visiting OKC, I was in the mood for some juicy rotesserie chicken. I came across the reviews for this place and then headed out the door. EXTREMELY disappointed. This was dryest chicken I ever had. The plantians were great. First and last time.

Delicious and cheap. It’s a hole in the wall for sure, but I’d definitely return. We had the Lomo Salado and a ½ chicken with plantains… get the plantains. Seriously good.

I usually don’t rate a place after only visiting once, but I’m confident in this one. I had the ceviche de pescado(fish for those who have never heard of it or do not speak Spanish) and it was amazing! I have never once in my life eaten uncooked fish, but this didn’t make me nervous at all. The flavor was fantastic. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the staff was friendly. My dinner companion, who is familiar with Peruvian food and spoke in Spanish with the server, has assured me that this is about as authentic as you can get for Peruvian in OKC. Y’all try this, and enjoy!

Went here for the first time tonight. It is a true hole in the wall gem. I got ceviche and we split a Peruvian beer. The flavors were phenomenal. It was worth the drive and we will for sure return.

DONOTBEAFRAID of the neighborhood or the outside look of this restaurant. The food is luscious, the wait staff friendly, and the place is really clean. I don’t think you could find any chicken anywhere that could compete with this Peruvian rotisserie chicken. The flan is very tasty. Actually, the dishes I’ve tried have all been tasty. I highly recommend the Plata Rellano, an avocado stuffed with a yummy chicken salad. We always get the Papa ala huancaina. Love that yellow sauce! As long as they have Moma in the kitchen, other places can replicate the munu, but I really don’t think anywhere else will be quite as good. Try it once and I guarantee that you will make it one of your regular stops.

This place has fantastic Peruvian fare and a really helpful, if small, staff. I always feel like family when I eat here, and I never leave hungry. The Lomo Saltado was top notch, but the Palta Rellana may be my favorite dish here. SOFULLOFAVOCADOGOODNESS. The Papa a la Huancaina are mouthwatering too. Seriously, I could go on and on. If I lived closer I’d be 20 lbs heavier.

This place was awesome. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in a restaurant in Peru. Very small restaurant, maybe 8 or so tables. The decorations were all from Peru and one of the walls had a huge picture of Machu Picchu. The servers were very friendly. The food was presented so pretty. Almost too pretty to eat. I loved the plating. The portions were HUGE. I got the Lomo Saltado that the waiter recommended as their most popular dish. Marinated strips of steak, with tomatoes, onions and cilantro on top of a bed of french fries… yes you heard me French fries. It was also served with white rice. I really enjoyed this dish the only thing was about half of the meat with gristle. My boyfriend got the Ceviche Mixto. This was served on a long plate with fish, shrimp, mussels and calamari soaked in lime juice. This dish is meant to have a sour taste to it so it comes with a good amount of lime juice. Topped with raw onion and maiz cancha. Maiz cancha is toasted corn nuts. This is served with sweet potatoes and maiz mote. Maiz mote is pretty much giant white corn. Both are really good. This is genuine Peruvian food. Will definitely be back!

This place is a small mom and pop style restaurant with limited seating, with Maybe 8 – 10 tables. Staff, was friendly… I ordered the half chicken with 2 sides, which came out in no time piping hot and fresh! The chicken had a nice flavor to it, and the chicken was also moist! I also ordered Ceviche which actually came out after my food. I ordered it as an appetizer, but it is what it is, nothing really to complain about. Ceviche was good, flavorful, and plentiful! Don’t let the outside sway you from coming here, food is very good!

First Peruvian meal. Not my last, I assure you. Décor is tidy. You’ll recognize the Peruvian woven fabric tablecloths(covered with utilitarian clear plastic – makes sense). As it was Monday night before Thanksgiving, we looked past the many roasted-chicken options. We(my sainted mother and myself) split the appetizer sampler. As mentioned earlier, delicious and distinctive. We had both the fish and the mixed ceviche. They featured the bracing acidity of enough lime juice to ‘cook’ the seafood, with an overlay of a pleasantly searing, transparent heat. The presentation may have been traditional, but it had that trendy ‘deconstructed’ aspect, what with sweet potatoes and hominy holding down the sides of the elongated shallow bowls. We spoke to the purveyor, very pleasant, learned a thing or two, and though I’m to OKC seldom, this is now on my go-to list. OKCers, north, south, east, west, take note: this is a lovely and unique addition to the city’s burgeoning and diverse restaurant scene.

Wow! This was seriously the best meal I’ve had in quite some time. It was my first time trying Peruvian food and I was not disappointed. Everything here is homemade, fresh and had some of the best mix of flavors I’ve had anywhere. We started out going to Italian but when we got to the restaurant it was closed because the owners are on vacation. So I jumped on Unilocal and started looking for an alternative and found this place was close by so we came here instead. I am really glad the other place was closed today or I probably never would have came here since I rarely wander to the South side. It’s attached to Sugar’s bar and looks like a total dive from the outside. It’s small and casual inside but very clean. We were the only customers but we went early for dinner so that was to be expected. I can’t even describe the food except that it was damn good. I will definitely be back. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have any desserts to try because they were out and we really wanted to try the ice cream which was made with some Peruvian fruit I can’t remember the name of, but I guess it just gives me an excuse to go back.
