I attended for a welcome event for my new job. We had a conference room and I would guess there were at least 30 – 40 people there. I ordered one grilled fish and one tempura fish taco and was brought one tempura fish and shredded beef tacos. People make mistakes, so it’s okay, plus with all those people there, it’s bound to happen. Regardless, the tacos were not good. They were soggy, cold, and flavorless. I had their chips, queso, guacamole, and salsa and it was all ordinary, nothing special for a Bricktown restaurant. Then, I witnessed a girl sitting next to me asked the waitress for a glass of water and was told by the waitress she could go around the corner and get it herself. This was my first time here and I was not very impressed. I most likely won’t be back in the future unless there was another event for work here.

Had to hunt for a clean table during a slow time, drinks were so much higher than the surrounding bars. Not over impressed.

I really enjoy the layout and atmosphere here. It’s a stop every time I come into town. The selection and options for customizing your order are great. A favorite is the Carne Puerco Burrito with green sauce.

Very nice place to get a drink on the Bricktown Canal. We came here on a Sunday afternoon after riding the Water Taxi because we were in the mood for margaritas. Even at 4:00 there were a fair amount of people here, enjoying their nice patio with a view of the canal. It’s order-at-the-counter, and the man that took our order was very patient with us, explaining each of their different margarita options and why some were more expensive than others(has to do with the size and the quality of tequila, of course!) We settled on one frozen margarita and one margarita on the rocks. They were each a little over $ 7 after tax. We were given a number and found a seat on the patio, and the drinks were brought to us shortly. They were served in big pint glasses with salt on the rim, and they tasted great. Maybe the only downside was that smoking is allowed on the patio, and the table next to ours lit up pretty much immediately, which made us rush through our drinks. I do look forward to trying Yucatan’s food someday(there is a location in Dallas so that’s probably where I’ll go) and I can recommend this place for a cold drink on a warm afternoon!

3 stars for the burritos but the sauces warrant 4. There was nothing particularly special about either the burrito wrap or bowl as they came with the standard«chipotle» array of ingredients(0although perhaps a bit more food). But, throw one or two of their sauces on your burrito and its changes the game. The spice comes through just enough and its quite flavorful. Worth a stop.

Slow start. Mediocre tacos. No service. Old plantain chips. Outdoor was nice although all the tables around us were covered in used dishes and trash. Chips and salsa was good.

Nice outdoor seating. Ordered a taco and didn’t receive it for ½hr though. I finally got a $ 4 refund(and nothing else). Oh well, guess we won’t be back.

So good! I promise you won’t be disappointed. I thought this was going to be a tourist trap type of Mexican restaurant but it’s not. Very fresh. I’ll definitely come back.

1st time here. Stopped in before a Jason Aldean concert. Good happy hour beer specials. Food came out fast and tasted great. Excellent service by Ryan and Chris at the bar. Will definitely pop in here on our next trip to OKC.

Wildly inefficient ordering system! Makes you not want to order food because you have to leave the table and stand in line to order any food. Two separate checks, one for food and one for drinks. Cold queso as well. Should have went to fuzzys…

Came here for a bachelorette/bachelor party with a group of friends. HUGE fan of their signature artisanal cocktails! I had the umbrella drink while my friend had the melon de la playa. Both were very scarily thirst quenching and totes adorable. I probably could have drank 16 more of them. Another awesome option is their tequila flights! I don’t do tequila personally, but they have about seven different flights at all price ranges so it’s easy to find something accommodating in my opinion. Nachos were a thumbs up from the group and we probably could have easily ordered a few of these bad boys! Ordering at the counter when you first come in also makes it an easier process while there’s also a bar adjacent for all your alcohol needs.

Since moving to the area, my wife and I have been searching for a good tex-mex place. Yucatan will be our go to restaurant now. Queso was great(not just cheese sauce), my nachos were great and HUGE; the habanero quesadilla was amazing as well. Left very satisfied and will be coming back for sure. Also props to Denise for some great service and good reccomedantions.

This was the only place in Bricktown that was open on a Sunday around 10pm. Can’t go wrong with tacos, so why not?! I started off with a Perfect Patron Margarita. Patron Silver & Patron Citronge, along with lime juice. I really wanted to try one of their flights but I needed to get back on the road. I ordered 3 tacos: Tempura Fish, Spicy Tequila Shrimp & Spicy Aged Chorizo. All come with the same fixings as far as purple cabbage, queso fresco, etc. The best one was between the shrimp & fish, the chorizo was good but the other two were more flavorful. Their salsa was pretty good as well, the one I had was spicy. If you check-in, you’ll get a deal on the menu favorites.

Walk up ordering, long waits, and subpar food. After waiting(exactly) thirty minutes for my order I approached one of the waitstaff and was given my order 5 minutes later. I had the garlic shredded beef burrito. My daughter had the kid’s burrito plate. Her burrito was only slightly larger than a taquito.

After reading reviews and going to this restaurant today, I have to say, I think this place has improved immensely. The food portions vs price tend to be amazing, for the most part. The salsa still isn’t anything to right home about, but the Guac was pretty nice. As an out of town tourist on a Sunday, this was a haven to find in a midst of restaurants that were closed today. It’s generally clean, though the outdoor seating is very nice. There are some outdoor couches, but they were kinda ripped up. I think if the place were a tad more tidy, and the salsa was better, those would be huge improvements. It was quiet today, but it made it super enjoyable. I’m sure there are better places in OKC, but this was filling and far from bad. I initially got the wrong dish for my entre, but I got to have both that entre and the one I ordered. Service was nice and generally fast; Denise was a great server. As a traveler, I would want to try other places, but I was not disappointed here!

It is with great sadness that Yucatan is no longer hosting TLO trivia on Thursday nights, because tbh, that was the only time I ever went there! For a restaurant in Bricktown, it’s not bad. My opinions on their food have changed over time – I love their veggie and fish tacos, but their queso can be hit and miss. Their chips are ok. They’re seasoned with something that occasionally feels watery, which is a little weird. I prefer the plaintain chips, for sure. Alcohol here is definitely pricey. I’d rather not pay $ 12(that includes tax and tip) for one drink, and their bartenders can be a bit all over the place. I had the Beer Trail with Negra Modelo twice: 1st time absolutely delicious, 2nd time eh. If you’re looking for a more authentic Mexican experience, look elsewhere. It’s not a bad stop if you’re stuck in Bricktown and need a quick bite to eat, though.

$ 10 buckets of Tecate and a great spot on the canal for people watching! Their garlic beef is tasty and their nachos could feed an Army … Massive! We love YTS before games(Dodgers and Thunder)!

Yucatan was once a favorite of our lunch crew, but has slipped. When they were relatively new on the block, it was very good and was a good value for lunch. Now, it’s half the size portions for the same amount we once paid. The Tequila Lime Chicken Nachos were once the bomb, due to freshness and tasty shredded chicken, now they are just a fizzle due to lack of chicken and just not an appealing display. I tried it again today because a visitor wanted to try it. I had the lunch(small plate, half the nacho chips) garlic shredded beef nachos and it was a let down. I’m not giving them a third chance, so our relationship has ended. I have tried other items off the menu in the past, but it wasn’t good enough to make me want to eat it again.

I went to a birthday party here last night which coincided with their trivia night. I was a little late, so I missed out on most of the trivia and instead only helped with the last few rounds. Helped was a bit of an exaggeration. I provided non-useful input to a group of people much smarter than I. I checked in and saw that they had 15% off their favorites menu, so that was all the motivation I needed to order food. I tried the chicken enchiladas, which were spectacular. They were served relatively quickly and were still very hot. Before they came, the waitress brought over some chips and salsa which dissipated quickly into the group. All in all, the staff alright, the food was wonderful, they have outdoor seating on the canal which was great, but the trivia was awesome. I can see myself here in the future with friends for more trivia!

Have been here several times. The tacos are good but the tequila lime chicken nachos are delish! Huge portion big enough for two. My husband and I split them and still couldn’t finish them. Highly recommend!

YTS joins the list of places that I have visited downtown that are completely overrated. I went on a TLO trivia night, so the place was pretty busy. I must say that the TLO trivia was the best part of the night… well that and hanging out with my friends. First, the drinks are ridiculously overpriced. I guess I shouldn’t complain because it is in Bricktown. The prices of almost all of the restaurants in that area are inflated, but still… at least try to reasonable. It is inconceivable to me for a restaurant to charge $ 11 for a watered down cocktail. Thanks, but no thanks. Also, the food… more specifically, the burrito bowls. I’ve always wondered what Mexican(Mexicali? TexMex?) food made by a sad person would taste like. Maybe the cooks were having a bad day, but that was some of the worst food I have ever eaten. The service was disappointing to say the least. It was sporadic and the waitress made it seem like it was an inconvenience for her to serve our table. I honestly can’t say I’ll ever be back, even if it’s TLO trivia night.

My husband and I really loved this place… So much so that we went back the next day. We just stumbled upon this place while walking at Bricktown and decided to eat here. You order with a cashier, then get a number and take it to whatever table you want to sit at. We ordered the chicken nachos and had a seat. Let me tell you, the food came out so quick and those things were delicious. They come on a large plate and are piled high. I absolutely loved the addition of cabbage to the nachos. Now, I know that this sounds weird, but it was a nice and light addition to a normally heavy dish and it added a lot of flavor. You can ask for salsa to be brought out and it is also a great addition to the nachos. Maybe I am easy to please, but I thought this place was soooo good. Try the nachos and you will not be disappointed.

I’d been wanting to try Yucatan, but I have to say I was very underwhelmed. We came for The Lost Ogle trivia night and had a good time, but felt the food was very so-so and everything was extremely overpriced. The trivia night was hosted by Downtown OKC, who provided free chips, queso and salsa for everyone. Both the queso and salsa were just OK. Salsa was very bland and just kind of tasted like tomato sauce, and the queso was also bland and didn’t taste any better than what you get in the jar. My boyfriend and I both had the enchilada plate, which was $ 30 with tax. A little steep for Mexican food anyway, and all in all they just weren’t that good. There was next to no sauce at all on them; I felt like I was just eating chicken wrapped in corn tortillas. Not a lot of flavor there, especially for $ 15 per plate. As for the bar, we ordered our drinks separately because we ordered our food at the counter when we walked in. Our first order was a cucumber mint margarita and a Miller Lite… it was $ 14, and the margarita was itty bitty. The glass looked smaller than a hi-ball. It was good and unique and different from other margaritas I’d had, but not sure it was worth $ 10 for the size. Next time around we went up for another Miller Lite and a Modelo and that was about $ 10. We just found it to be outrageously expensive for a casual Mexican restaurant. Trivia night was fun, but I don’t think we’d come back for a regular night out. There are better, cheaper Mexican restaurants in the downtown area… Fuzzy’s is close by with much better drinks, food and prices.

Just to be clear, the nachos here deserve five stars. They are the best nachos I’ve ever had in my life hands down. That said, the rest of their menu is good, but not nearly as impressive so overall the place gets four stars. I usually sit at the bar and watch sports. The bar staff are always great and very attentive. The sound is sometimes off between the speakers and the TV, which is annoying, but sometimes it’s fine. No idea what’s going on there, and the bar staff don’t seem to know either. The only dessert I’ve tried is the tequila lime sorbet and it rivals the nachos in it’s awesomeness. You definitely need to save room for it!

We wanted tacos and tried to go to Fuzzys first but I was not about to wait in that long line. This was the next closest taco place and it was pretty good. Not the most amazing tacos but it hit the spot. TACOS Chicken taco(3 stars): Couldn’t really taste any marinade on the chicken. Grilled fish taco(3.5 stars): Fish was good. Good sized tacos, which they better be for over $ 3.50 each. But both tacos needed that hot sauce on the table for sure! With that hot sauce the tacos are really good, without the hot sauce they are okay. My friend got the burritos and really liked them. ATMOSPHERE: Pretty empty compared to Fuzzys, but its more of a nicer sit down place. They had big booths along the walls to sit at. Order at the counter and sit with your number. Our food came out pretty fast.
