I must say that 5 Guys makes a pretty mean burger. The French fries are really good as well. Not all burgers and fries are created equal, and 5 Guys is proof of this. I think they named it 5 guys because that’s how many guys I’d be willing to fight to prevent my burger from getting into someone else’s hands. I definitely recommend you give this place a try.

Best burger in town so far, not a fan of how they prepare the fries, but that’s just personal preference. Place was clean, and service was friendly. No worries. Very family friendly and casual atmosphere.

I used to consider this a great place to go but it has recently failed to keep up to standards. The fries have been over seasoned the last two times I have gone, Cajun and regular. They even let me leave with a bag of fries and no burger last time. Who forgets the burger???

Simple, homemade burgers. I always get the little bacon cheeseburger. They wrap your burger in tinfoil before serving, so the bun and cheese softens and melts together. Hand cut fries, recommend with the spicy seasoning.

Burger was excellent and saved the calories with no fries. The peanuts were a nice snack instead. One of the best Diet Cokes in town. They have their machines adjusted just right! The yelling in the kitchen is a bit disruptive in such a small space. All in all s very good experience.

Fest time try Five Guys. Burger had potential. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions, tomato, lettuce, green peppers, &BBQ sauce. Grilled peppers were not grilled &BBQ sauce was absent. It didn’t come the way I ordered it, but I let it go and sat down to enjoy my meal anyway. The guy are the front counter was kind of trying to flirt with us, & we got free drinks, even though I still. only wanted water. I guess I could accept that as a kind gesture, but it was a bit awkward. Not sure my experience was worth wanting to come back again, but it got my belly full and the fries made up for what the burger itself lost.

I always ended up ignoring this place because of the number of fast food joints around it but finally made it here since the Chick-Fil-A nearby(Always the first choice on my list for a quick lunch) looked packed. Walking in, I was greeted by signs stating they had the best burgers and fries in random states and a bunch of reviews here and there so my expectations had been suitably raised. The place just had one or two tables occupied at lunch time which for a place claiming it has the best burgers around seemed like a paradox. It also had cartons of peanuts(in their shells) placed all over and this left me confused since I couldn’t quite make the connection between peanuts and burgers(Do they have it here because they cook everything in peanut oil?) Anyway, I checked out the menu and found that the burgers were higher priced than the regular fast food joints(All of them are close to or higher than 6 $ though they do have something called little burgers which are slightly cheaper and this is without a drink or fries). I opted for the Cheeseburger with everything on. After about 10 minutes, I received the said burger and decided to see if it lived up to the hype. The burger was decent. It tasted fresh and the toppings were nice. It was also very filling since it had 2 patties. However, I have definitely had better burgers than this one. For starters, the patty here was slightly under-seasoned in my opinion and there was just something missing to elevate it from being just decent to excellent. I should have probably opted for jalapenos and hot sauce as additional toppings to give the burger that extra flavor it was missing. I might definitely return to try out a different combination of the toppings to see if that gets me a better burger but for now, this place is just about average in my opinion.

Much hype, but really just a burger. Cajun fries are good. Choices of toppings is large. Noisy and hot. Peanuts are a bonus unless you don’t like stepping on shells.

Awesome!!! Went last night had a bacon cheeseburger and regular fries. The fries were hot and just perfect and so was the burger!

First off: The small/jr burger has 1 patty and is pretty beast. The regular has 2 patties, which is a monster. Keep that in mind when ordering. Second off: unless you need a bucket of fries, I suggest getting the«small» and splitting it with a friend. Every time my wife and I have eaten at 5 guys the cup they fill is overflowing with at least another cups worth of fries. Sometimes 2 cups worth of overflow. The burgers taste great, almost like they’re made with actual meat. I think that’s why some people complain that they’re «nothing special.» It’s not like McDonalds where you get some«meat» product with strange chemical flavors are added to make it «McDonalds» burger«meat.» 5 Guys tastes kinda like what I thing my home-cooked burgers taste like: ground meat. The fact that you can get any and ALL toppings free of additional charge is great. I think my wife added lettuce, onions, pickles(they’re bread and butter, keep that in mind), mayo, bbq, tomato, and some other stuff I can’t remember but don’t like. That burger right there would have probably had a $ 2 upcharge at many establishments. I opted for tomato, pickles(I prefer dill…), sauteed mushrooms. Again, the mushrooms probably would have been a $ 1 upgrade at many places… IF it was even offered. As we often do, my wife got the normal burger(yanked the 2nd patty out with some of the insane toppings and part of the bun in order to feed our 2yr old daughter. Toss in some fries and ketchup and she was set.(Honestly, toss in a spoon and the ketchup and she’s set… we really have to coerce her to eat more than just the Ketchup or Sour Cream at some meals) Food was good. Fries tasted like fried potatoes(go figure). Meat tasted like meat(go figure). The toppings tasted like the toppings they were(go figure). In the end the food tasted like the food it was, which is shockingly rare these days where everything is bloated with«flavor» and sugar added. Oh, they have all you can snack on peanuts in shells(similar to Texas Roadhouse).

Love their burgers and I love the price. Seriously, I know they’re not Smashburger or S&B but they’re a lot cheaper. Really like their buns, very different taste and a very soft texture eating it. The folks working here evenings know us and we always feel welcome and well taken care of. After you order grab a scoop of peanuts to munch on while you wait for your burgers. Not a place for those allergic to peanuts with huge boxes of them open on the floor.

Let me start by saying that the staff was cool and helpful. I like that they have a lot of choices as far as portions go but the portions are way out of wack. I ordered the«little» cheeseburger and to be quite honest, It kind of tasted like burger king to me. I ordered the small fries which were fresh, but just okay, really. The small fries are enough to feed two large people. The biggest problem I had is that I dined in, and whether you dine in or carry out, you’re going to get your food in a brown paper bag. All of your fries will be loose in the bag. They put them in these two sizes too small cups. I had like 10 fries in the cup. There are too many other way better burger places around for me to return here.

6,435. Assuming I did it correctly(I may be wrong; someone check my math), the number above represents the combination possibilities when one is ordering a hamburger with let’s say, seven[1] of the fifteen free ingredients available at Five Guys. Items like cheese or bacon aren’t included, which would change the total combinations possible. I get it. It’s not an amazing burger. More often than not, you’ll get something that’s fairly average, and if you make the mistake of taking it home, it goes from average to gross, because their buns are soft. But I’ve also had a few above-average burgers from Five Guys. It’s certainly better than other similar burger options(coughJohnnie’scough), and the pricing while not being great, isn’t a flagrant rip-off either. Maybe I’m in a good mood and it’s making me generous right now. Five Guys is different than other fast-food options because of the variety they provide with their ingredients. Although to be fair, they’re never, ever, ever, ever quick to get you your food so calling it fast-food is a lie. My point is, it’s not a terrible burger. And on a good day, it can even be really enjoyable. So really, this is like a [*][*][*] rounded up to [*][*][*][*] because I’ve had enough decent experiences to say that it’s somewhat better than«A-OK.» Avoid the fries. They suck more often than not because Five Guys apparently doesn’t believe in cooking them entirely. But I know that floats the boats of some people(like my brother) so if you enjoy really potatoe-y(it’s a thing) fries, then it’s certainly your jam. Personal recommendation: Hamburger. Mayo. Grilled Mushrooms. Grilled Onions. Jalapeño Peppers(x2). Barbeque Sauce. Hot Sauce. 6,435 possibilities, and yet that’s the one I fall back on every time. [1]Note: Any more than that and your burger will probably be a challenge to consume.

The burgers are fine, but really nothing special. I thought the service was pretty terrible, though. They have an app to speed up ordering, but they don’t put your order in until you get there. I guess that’s to ensure fresh food, but it seems to defeat the purpose. For me that meant a 40-minute wait for three burgers and one order of fries. When I brought this up, I was given a shrug. For my money and time, I’d rather drive to Tucker’s Onion Burgers or S&B’s. It was a year since my last visit to Five Guys and it’ll probably be at least as long before I make that mistake again.

Another lunch stop close to work… I am normally not a fan of chains, but Five Guys seems to be an exception to the rule. The burger is juicy, but the fun is picking your toppings from the HUGE list of options. I really enjoy the seasoned fries, just be sure to get a small or you will be overwhelmed!

As of 5−2−13, they make the best burger I’ve ever had. They messed up my order and let me keep the mess up burger and they made me another burger. I suggest getting your order messed up.

I wasn’t planning to eat at Five Guys on Wednesday but the stars aligned & I happened to be there with very little time to waste. I ordered the Regular Burger w/onions, lettuce &BACON. Adding regular fries & a drink brought the total to a whopping 12 bucks. Seriously? I have no problem paying extra for an above average and exceptional lunch but this was certainly not above average or exceptional. My burger was a good size and had plenty of bacon. Unfortunately the patties were dry & had next to no flavor. The fries were hot & fresh and pretty good. I don’t know why restaurants think its cool to plaster their walls with signs about how amazing their food is and all the awards they’ve won 3 or 4 years ago. To me their food should speak for them & keep the gloating off of the wall. Perhaps have pictures of the beach, GI Joe’s or Nebraska Cornhusker paraphernalia? I’ll think twice before coming back. Paid what I would consider a premium for mediocre burger & fries. Here are a couple other OKC places with MUCH better burgers for the price. Republic, Tucker’s, Earl’s,

Five Guys has always had a reputation among my friends(all over the country) of being amazing fast food. As amazing as you can get with fast food, at least. After the establishment was erected on NW Expressway near where I live, I went to have a try since I had never had them before. The food was very good. Obviously fast food’y but plenty of it and a very decent quality. The fries are amazing and the burgers are as good as you put them together. Personally, I go for cheese, mushroom, and onions!

I travel a lot for work so I’ve had Five Guys many times long before they every hit the OKC market. It is a decent burger, a hot greasy mess on a bun. I like the choices of toppings but it’s nothing that is going to make me rave and drag my friends to go there. I am a huge fan of hand cut fries, but they tend to under cook them a bit and the amount of fries you get is ridiculous! I’ve literally had a bag blowout on a takeout order because the oil saturation and steam from fries was just too much for the paper sack. Don’t get me wrong, if I needs me a burger and I have to choose between Five Guys and a McDonald’s or Sonic, Five Guys win.
