A classic in OKC! This place is so good for breakfast. On Sunday morning expect a wait as people flock here after church. It is so worth it! Friendly staff and amazing breakfast items! I’ve had it all over the years and it’s ALL good!

I was a little skeptical when my husband pulled up outside of Classen Grill on a friend’s recommendation, but WOW, was the food AMAZING! The staff was very friendly and they were hustling to take care of a full house. We each had the breakfast special — Stuffed Pancakes. They were delicious. The mimosa made with fresh squeezed orange juice was also very good. If you’re in OKC for breakfast, don’t miss Classen Grill!

Worst experience for Brunch in some time. Emmidiate seating should have been the first sign. Took over 15 minutes to place an order, and 35 minutes to finally get it. Their Turkey Omelette Special was just not that special. Coldcut turkey fried with some eggs. Delivered cold, with cold potatoes, cold toast, and warm orange juice. Don’t recommend this for anyone looking for brunch. Perhaps their other offerings are better, certainly brunch is not. Lousy waitress with an attitude. I typically look for an enjoyable experience when we go out. Don’t waste your money nor time.

You could never go wrong by choosing to come here for brunch. The Memphis Toast is exquisite! And their fresh orange juice is to die for. However, my only complaint is the tiny«hole in the wall» building because it can get jam-packed/the staff sometimes seem to be outnumbered by all of the customers. The food is the best for brunch in OKC!

Classen Grill is pretty bad. I really can’t think of anything good to say about my experience there. I ordered a Mediterranean salad and it was seriously chopped up dill pickle slices, some oil and black olives. I ordered the roast beef sandwich. The meat was fine but everything had way more salt than is even remotely reasonable. During my trip to the men’s room, I discovered there was no soap and no paper towels. Really, guys — take a little pride in your restaurant.

This little hole in the wall is my jam! Freshly squeezed orange juice?! Yes! This is probably one of my favorite brunch spots in town. It isn’t the most glamorous restaurant, but the food is delicious and the staff are pretty great. I had the iced mocha coffee and it was pretty Yummy! The French toast is out of this world and their biscuits are stellar. I love everything on the menu. I am not a huge fan of fish but my friends swear the chinook eggs Benedict is legit.

One of the gems in OKC when it comes to breakfast. From fresh squeezed orange juice to the Migas to the Memphis French Toast(with peanut butter, bananas, honey, and bacon), this is a wonderful mix of Southwest, Mexican, and American breakfast flavors.

Neat little place with an artsy feel of décor. Very loud on the weekend morning but well worth the breakfast and«FRESHSQUEEZED» orange juice. Delicious and affordable. Also has Mexican inspired breakfast to choose from. Omelets was big and full of the ingredients. Would recommend getting breakfast here.

Best steak I have had in a very long time and I travel all over the US. Very friendly and helpful staff. The ambience is great also.

This place used to be gem. Now just old, in disrepair and terribly dirty. My Hollandaise was broken and bland, cheese grits and waffles were cold and day old. Staff seemed depressed to be there. Surprised it’s still open in this condition. I pray we don’t get sick! Will not be back.

My family and I really enjoy coming here. The food is great and the price is much better than IHOP and the food is levels above. My favorite is the biscuits debris. You add a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and you have a breakfast that is hard to top. They stay pretty busy but the lines seem to move quickly. We have never had to wait more than 15 min to get seated. The only reason that I didn’t give them 5 stars is due to the quality of their staff. It really is hit or miss. Some waitresses are extremely nice and talkative. Others give off the impression that you are a big inconvenience to them. I’m swear one waitress pretty much communicated entirely with a series of grunts and moans. Perhaps she was just having a bad day but she probably should have called in. We have noticed that it can take a little longer than expected to get your food after ordering it… It has never been terribly excessive and it is worth the hot fresh delicious breakfast.

Packed out but oh so efficient. Even though the restaurant was so packed on Mother’s Day morning for breakfast we were seated almost immediately. Our waitress was really friendly she brought us our menus and took our drink orders right away. The breakfast menu was quite expensive and truly had everything you could ever want from a diner menu. Since the restaurant was so packed, the food took a little longer than usual to arrive but our waitress kept my coffee cup full and it was great coffee. I love the orange marmalade you can put on your toast. I asked for an extra piece of toast and it was no problem. Our waitress brought it right out to me. All in all a solid breakfast choice. By the way, I had the build your own omelet and it came our unbelievable good. Edna’s is definitely a good place to hangout for breakfast.

We stopped in for breakfast around 12:00 on a Sunday. There were people waiting to be seated when we walked inside. I generally take this as a good sign, because it means people are willing to wait for the good food. Maybe they were just as unknowing as we were. After we finally got seated, we waited quite a long time to be served and again for our food. I can usually deal with the wait if the food is good, but the food was lazy. Sometimes food is simple and delicious, but my omelette was more of a cross between a scramble and an omelette. It was flavorless and not pretty to look at. My toast looked sad. I don’t know how else to describe it. They serve fries with their«omelettes.» Somehow this seems like a lazy way of doing hashbrowns. My husband had the eggs Benedict. One of the eggs was poached decently and the other was significantly undercooked. The English muffin was soggy and the sauce might as well been whipped up from a packet. Nothing special there. The grits came out in a flavorless, unsightly block. The point is folks, you might be able to get away with bad service or bad food, but you can’t get away with both. I’m just not sure why this place had any good reviews at all.

My fiancé and I have been coming here every Sunday for brunch. I always get their farmer’s omelet with a bowl of gravy on the side for my bread. I love breakfast foods and I love that they have a combination of everything here. It is always crowded and the wait-staffs are great!

Everything I read on Unilocal prior to checking this place out, was pretty spot on. Pretty busy at 8:30a on Sunday morning, which is always a good sign. My buddy and I were seated right away, even though it was obvious the waitress was very busy. Great coffee, served quickly(which is huge!). Went with the biscuit debris and a side of bacon. Great flavor, plenty of refills to my cup o’ joe. I’ll be back.

Hit the Classen Grill today for breakfast. This is my 2nd visit but first since relocating to OKC. Still slow to order and be served but it’s due to the lack of servers not incompetence. Solid but not spectacular meal. I would return but only if my search nets nothing better. The scary part about today’s chapter in the search for the best OKC breakfast was the place was hopping and had plenty of energy. Not a good sign for the state of breakfast joints in this town.

I love coming here when I’m in the mood for some breakfast. This is a hole in the wall place that serves great breakfast. If you come later(around 10:30am or after) expect to have a little wait. They have great service here! I have tried their pancakes(light and fluffy) and their dish called the Memphis French toast. It is a dish with French toast, peanut butter and banana in the middle, the drizzled with honey. Sweet, but will pair perfectly with a glass of milk! Also, they have fresh squeezed orange juice, which I didn’t like much due to its tartness. I have gone here once for lunch and got a club sandwich which I would order again. But I would recommend coming here for breakfast!

This is a place I’ve always wanted to try out and never have until this past weekend. It was kinda funny because I came with my dad on Saturday morning and back again on Sunday with my sister, her bf, and my bf. I can definitely say my experience was better the first day which leads me to believe it’s not consistent. The first day I had the biscuit debris and really liked it. My dad enjoyed his eggs benedict as well. The next day I ordered the Colorado burrito and it was pretty good, I’d order it again. The main difference between the two visits was on Sunday it was a lot busier than Saturday therefore our food took quite a bit longer to arrive. The service both times was okay but I wouldn’t say great. The one thing they were completely on top of was coffee refills, like almost too on top of it. It seemed like someone came by every couple minutes to ask if my sister and her bf needed more coffee. The other complaint I have about here is what they consider«hash browns.» When it said hash browns came with my biscuit debris, I assumed they were the usual shredded type of hash browns. They were more like what I consider breakfast potatoes or even home fries. They weren’t bad but I just felt deceived.

This place is just… I don’t know… it’s just a place to have a cheap breakfast at. The service was pretty lame. From ordering to having food in front of me took approximately 20 minutes. It’s not like I ordered a steak, btw. I actually ordered biscuits and gravy. Something simple. Besides loving biscuits and gravy, I ordered them because CG doesn’t exactly give you the feeling that they cook an excellent breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were good, but not the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere, and more specifically, the people, range somewhere between hipster and Life Alert commercial. CG just has a weird vibe that I’m not really a fan of. I don’t know if I’ll ever come back, but if I don’t, it won’t hurt my feelings. It’s not a place I’m dying to go back to. I have definitely experienced better.

The Classen grills… Deep fried garlic parm mash potatoes, doesn’t get any better!!! No, not your typical breakfast potatoes. Yes this place can be kind of a dump but at the same time that is what gives it soooo much character! I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl and I’ve had my fair share of favorite waitresses over the past decade who know me by name, i.e. Sharon and Loretta. They too have made this place very special for a lot of «regulars». Definitely your true«diner» breakfast joint that I would never want to change! Try the Migas!
