The juices are good, but if you want to compete with Frutas, you better have lower prices, and stop cutting corners like adding ice to fruit and vegetable juices. For $ 3.50, you get a good-​sized juice at Frutas. Also, don’t be so tight with the napkins. Customer service is okay.
Los jugos estan buenos, but si desean competir con Frutas, deben tener precios mas populares and dejar de estar chantejeando como cuando le agregad hielo a los jugos. Por $ 3.50, te sirven un jugo de verduras en Frutas. Y no sean tan taca~os con las servilletas. El servicio al cliente esta bien, pero nada sobresaliente.

Ok so I really don’t like giving bad reviews, but this place was a real disappointment. I was waiting for a doctors appointment so I decided to go across the street to find something small to eat to kill time, and not reading the Unilocal reviews I walk into this small fruiteria. As I walk in both workers in the back it took about 5 mins for one of them to actually approach me and she asked what I wanted, and I just said an «acai bowl» and she nodded and went into the back, then after another 5 mins another lady comes and asks «so what is it again?» Very rude like, and I just answered «an acai bowl please» and she just nodded not saying attending and I gave my card she swipes it and goes in the back AGAIN. Not even knowing the price I had to look at the register to find out it was $ 8.55 for one small acai bowl. And she not only forgets to tell me the price until after I pay, but she leaves my card on her register! And finally after another 10 minutes of waiting she finally gives me my back my card on her register and my pity acai bowl. I looked and there was barely any acai in it, it’s half empty when I get it. Although it was a good one, presentation and quantity really lacked for the price. Most likely will not be going back. Do not recommend to anyone who is in a hurry, or is looking for something cheap.

Ive been looking for a good fruteria, I used to go to one in Eastlake but I feel like the quality of the food had dropped. With that being said I found this place! I ordered a fruit salad, was very happy not only with the quality of it but the quantity as well. (:

So I stopped in here today only to get a fresh juice since I was in need of an energy boost. Since it was around lunch time and I saw other people ordering sandwiches, I decided to try a sandwich despite the low reviews. I ordered a Rise from the Dead juice and a turkey sandwich with no mayo. The juice was good. However, I asked for turkey and I ended up getting a chicken sandwich. I realized this when I got to work. The sandwich was falling apart and the chicken had hard pieces of fat and chewy parts. Terrible. I don’t think I will get going back!

Ordered a small fruit salad without melons. The fruit salad itself was fresh, but only ate about half since it had soo much watermelon… :/

Good price… Natural fresh fruit. taste pretty good but I still prefer Jamba Juice for the flavor, professionalism and not promoting a bunch of junk food…

I LOVE THIS PLACE, I could eat here every day if not every week with a lot of variety of choices from juices to smoothies. Lord knows I love me a warm torta with everything on it. I will say though that since it closes at 8 if you walk in past 7 they look at you as if they don’t want your money. The morning vibes though are excellent usually playing the news so now when I watch fox I get subliminal messages to come back here

There are two employees that always provide friendly customer service. I always come here for the energy juices. My favorite is Vampira.

The fruit here is so fresh. I really enjoy their salads for lunch. The fruit is cut up regularly throughout the day making sure the fruit doesn’t sit too long. The employees are helpful, informative and very friendly. Today I’m also trying an energy drink called «Raise The Dead» — Wow! It has beets, carrots, orange juice, celery & lemon. Yikes!

Would not return. Not all items and combos sold as advertised and you can get items in small portions unless you get a combo. Workers don’t or won’t speak english even though the menu is in english.

First time here and I had fresas con crema. I don’t like strawberries, but was craving fresas con crema. It was pretty good! I’ll be sure to be back.

After you get over the cashier being on the phone the whole time and you get your food. The torta was okay tasty but they forgot my avocado and my smoothie was pretty good!

not so crazy about this açai bowl. tastes like greek yogurt and a few içai blended together. strawberries are very bitter and has grapes… which I have not seen before in bowls… it does have plenty of fruit which is great. maybe I got the scraps but I would have been better if they told me they ran out.

Got a natural fruit smoothie here and it was delicious. Johanna and Yanin are very nice and courteous. Will defiantly come back. Very clean and fresh.

The fruit is always delicious and fresh. Its a little hard to understand the lady at the counter but if you can get past the language barrier, the foods worth it
My only complain, if it can even be considered a legitamitate complain is the the price. A small salad and drink is $ 10. The price of health is expensive I guess. Overall great food and good service.

I ordered a multi-​green which basically tasted just like a large cup of orange juice and then I ordered a fruit salad which what I thought was going to have cottage cheese on it which I like Harley any cottage cheese the bananas worst bruise I would rather just go to fruitiza couple miles east in eastlake

I like this place because of their simple menu. Fruits are always fresh and they don’t try to kill you with sugar. Fruits already have sugar to begin with. I always get the LARGE combo smoothie (papaya, grapes, & melon) a personal preference and is always super bomb. They ask if you want it blended with fruit juice, or milk but i always opt for water only.
3-​stars because the service could be a little faster, how hard is it to scoop up some fruits and blend it yet it takes a good 10 minutes or so all the time…
The shopping center parking lot is a nightmare, just like any other shopping center in Chula Vista so I always park at the farthest end way beyond, past the gas station with what appears to be a dirt lot. I’d rather walk far than to get anxiety and stress.
Worth checking out. Prices are super affordable. Their Tortas are amazing too and is reasonably priced. Fruit Salads are bomb although I have to say they are getting stingy with the cottage cheese and granola servings.

I really really enjoy the fruit salads they have here. I get the smaller size and it’s huge! It comes with cut up pieces of watermelon, pineapple, banana, strawberry, etc (it sometimes varies) and the fruit is super fresh. They top it with cottage cheese or yogurt, granola, and honey! It’s the perfect meal, really filling, and healthy too. Its a little over $ 6 but I think it’s worth it.
To be perfectly honest, their parking is pretty bad as mentioned in previous reviews. It’s more the kind of place where you go to pick up your food. Although they do have tables, I haven’t really seen anyone eat there. Sometimes when they get busy, the wait is forEVER. But if you luck out and get in while they’re slow, you’ll get your food quick! (well… obviously.) Maybe call in your order before picking up?
I haven’t tried anything else here but I’d keep coming back just for the fruit salad :)

NO… just no… don’t even waste time going to this place! I went on a whim not checking the Unilocal review and this is what I got (a crappy experience), for my laziness.
First of all the parking situation is horrible. It will take forever to get in and out of the parking lot if it is busy and it is usually busy. Oh Duh, now I remember why I don’t generally shop at any place there. But, this time I was wanting fruit salad. Secondly, getting my order wrong TWICE is unforgivable.
If I want my fruit salad with the extras on the side that should be easy. First wrong. Second wrong, if I ask for certain items to be NOT included that should be simple… and this place simple FAILED. Not once, and I will say it again TWICE.
Ugh, I dislike immensely when eating establishments get orders wrong. You have to know the customers that come to you are not in the best mood because they are hungry, so for the love of the GODS, get the orders right.
I don’t like giving a bad review; I want to love all the places in my beautiful city but this place is a fail. I feel sad: o (
