Arco AMPM

This Arco may be a little hard to get to. It’s not freeway close, and smack dab in the middle of Chula Vista, but the prices are always great! The funny thing are the arrows on the ground that nobody pays attention to. If people paid attention, there might be some ease of traffic flow, but when some cars have tanks on the right and some the left, it makes getting in and out a little bit of a challenge. Overall, though, it’s worth it to get the gas at this great price.

Alright look, I use to always put ARCO gas because as we all know, its the cheapest gas out there.
However, ever since the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, I immediately stopped pumping a BP product. And, for several other reasons. One, being that their gas is water.
Anyway, I must admit, there has been several occasions that I’ve had to pump at this ARCO because its the nearest gas station to me and I’m always running low on gas.
I absolutely hate their 45 cent convenience fee when you pay with you card. it’s ridiculous.
Aside from the cheap shit gas, this gas station is always packed and the management service is bad.

This ARCO has by far the cheapest gas in CV. That is also part of the problem. This place can be anywhere from .05-.10¢ cheaper than surrounding stations. In order to get this gas you need to wait in a weird line that no one respects. Usually for about 10 min. Or do what I do and go after 10 pm.
What is worse is if you only want to go inside the ampm for a drink or to make a huge disgusting combo of nachos with 14 toppings you have to fight for the 3 parking spaces. Not worth it. Or you can do what I do and go after 10 pm.
The staff is pretty whatever about their job, im sure they aren’t to thrilled to be there so I don’t expect much anyway.
Just do what I do and go after 10 pm… or don’t, cuz I definitely don’t want to wait in line.

This gas station ripped me off for $ 19.48. I paid for $ 20 but the pump stopped at $ 0.52. I went to talk to the woman cashier and asked her for help she said she couldn’t help and told me to stop bothering her. I asked for the manager and he also did not care. I then asked a number to complain and he gave me an 1800 number but when I called it was to a porn site. Needless to say I lost my $ 19.48. One thing is having a broken pump another is to deal with people with no principle business principles. Side note I went to the Arco on Main and Broadway to fill up and ask for help and the owner of that Gas Station happened to be his cousin. He said he would help me and help me get my money again no help. Stay away from these Acro stations.
