Here right now enjoying delicious food and coffee. Only suggestion is to offer more pastries and soufflé would be nice. Food and coffee is excellent quality. And the sevice is fantastic. Lead barista Brandy is awesome!

Very cool place with good food and service, I ordered the spicy ranchero sandwich as a wrap and cold brew coffee, both super good! Can’t wait to try their bottomless Bloody Marys with brunch next time.

Traveling in the area and found this place on Unilocal. Everything as expected in the reviews. Staff was very friendly. The facility was clean and inviting. I had the egg and bacon sandwich on a bagel. Came with fresh fruit. All was very good. Spent about an hour and ½ working and it was very comfortable to do so. Would definitely come back when in this area again.

I found this place through Unilocal and came here on my lunch break as I work very close-it truly is a hidden gem, or at least to me. I absolutely love coffee and café vibes so if you’re like me, you’ll enjoy this small place. I ordered half a sandwich and half salad. The Turkey sandwich with bacon was extremely delicious as well as the salad– I would’ve preferred wheat bread, don’t know if it’s an option but I will be asking next time. Very clean, cashier was ok. could’ve explained options or suggested something to a very obvious new customer but she didn’t. Reasonable prices, clean and cute place with plenty of parking in the back. Oh, I ordered the agave mocha and they served it on a paper cup. I would’ve really enjoyed a nice mug with cute art while I lounged after eating my lunch-delicious mocha either way. Overall I will definitely be coming back!

Service(5⁄5) –the cashier girl in front was soft spoken but very friendly. The restaurant itself was super clean and very nice and cute. The bathroom needs a key. Luckily a guy walked by and told me or i would’ve been waiting for forever long lol. F O O D Tomato Pesto Soup(3.5÷5 stars) — the soup itself costed me about $ 5. It didn’t have anything in it but the tomato soup and a small scoop of pesto in the middle. There weren’t any chunks of anythingggg in it. But it does come with bread and butter which makes up for it I guess.

Normally, this place rocks my world. Great organic coffee and what not. The food is fresh and tasty, the store has lots of indoor and outdoor seating, tons of parking, yada, yada, yada, but today blew big time. First, while another customer and I was waiting for the store to open a woman(a regular) just walked in the side door that was apparently open for employees and the employee stopped setting up the store to help her. Rude… Second, at 7am we walked in and immediately there was a line of seven of us. There was only one person working the front. The Barista had to take orders and make the drinks. It was very slow going. When the Barista made my drink and then took it back saying she messed up and would have to remake it, a man in line left the store. The Barista remade the drink in such a hurry, my latte had no foam and was just over milky coffee. Why was there only one person on the floor at opening? Did she have no one to help her? In that building with all the office people and school people coming in it is bound to be busy at opening. Who knows. Maybe someone didn’t show up or whatever. I have worked in a coffee shop and retail. I get it. It’s not like I’m going to stop coming here, or give them one star or anything. Just letting you all know about what to possibly expect at opening. I have come here at other times with zero problems. I love the free lemon/orange water, and your coffee rules!

I’ve come here a few times, the coffee is great(Agave mocha is my favorite) and there is a lot of variety of food to choose from. I highly recommend the berry bagel. Not too noisy or crowded, and very clean and neat. Glad to see this nice addition to West Chula Vista. Certainly a great alternative to Starbucks!

This is the first time I came here since I don’t live in the area. The breakfast bacon and eggs sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bagel was delicious and was served with fresh fruit(surprise!!) They said the agave mocha was the most popular so I took their advice and it was great, I kind of wish I tried their regular coffee though to get a full taste. I did my homework too for about an hour with their free wifi. Super friendly staff and clean location Only down side is that the prices are kind of high, but that’s Southern California for ya. If I’m ever in Chula Vista again, I’ll come back!

Still giving this place 4 stars. Love their coffee(especially the Agave mocha — a Mexican mocha). and I love that they’re bringing more specialty coffee to west Chula Vista! This place is a great place to grab coffee and go, but if I were still a college student, I would totally study here since the atmosphere is quiet enough to my liking(music not overpowering, no one yelling). they have a lot of stuff on their menu besides coffee: pastries, sandwiches, smoothies, even omelets! the coffee’s enough to keep bringing me back though.

Holy smokes, this place made my morning with a delicious fresh breakfast burrito with black beans and veggies. Even the latte with hazelnut was on point. Glad I drove by and took a chance before even reading other Unilocal reviews. The parking is kind of far but not too bad and if you know the mall you may be able to find something closer. Definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Great day for a first time visitor like mee. I walk in to an array of delish hor d’oeuvres and festive décor; it happens to be Agave’s first year anniversary. Both lady baristas provided great customer service – Caroline recommended the Mochaccino based on what I said I was in the mood for and made it herself… great drink!(I asked for it on the rocks) The whole space is real neat. Definitely coming back.

This is a nice coffee an sandwich shop. I stopped in after having lunch nearby and ordered the house 12 oz cold brew coffee. They did not have any scones at the time of my visit, so no scone for me on this visit. The coffee was quite strong but with very good flavor that went down easy. It had very little or next no acidity, semi sweetness, even though no sugar was added, and it was rich in natural coffee flavor. In a nut shell, it was one very good cup of cold brew. The place us very nice and offers a good amount of inside seating and a lot on the outside well shaded patio. The place is quite the busy place and the service was very good. I made good use of their free Wi-Fi. They also offer great looking wraps and some sandwiches too. Nice people.

Here with my kids… A very clean coffee shop with plenty of tables/chairs, inside and outside. The outside patio area is nicely shaded. A woodsy, organic feel. The barista was friendly and quick in making drinks… Tbh, I love coffee shops but not really a huge fan of coffee. So I ordered an iced vanilla chai… Not overly sweet, but just sweet enough. A nice subtle herbal/spiced chai taste and creaminess from the milk. Their medium size is actually a lot for me. A cool place to go… I’ll have to try their food next time. They have pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast. Free wifi! Street parking.

Very quick and friendly service. I appreciate the professionalism. Clean outdoor and indoor seating. Seems like a chill environment. I imagine this would be a good place to have a quick meeting with a friend or coworker. My Chai tea latte was not the best, but still very good. And hot! Great flavor and not too watery. The parking is odd — a 1 hour lot a bit offset from the café that has an abandoned feel despite its proximity to multiple amenities.

The location of this shop is a bit weird. There is a big parking lot for offices and a dental assistant school and two restaurants, one of them being Agave. After you get over wondering if you are in the right spot, the food is pretty good! We ordered the Spicy Ranchero Sandwich and a Breakfast Burrito. Both of them were very good and decently priced; I don’t think either of them were over five dollars. They tasted a lot better than what I was expecting from a coffee shop. I wish I could feel the same about the drink that I ordered. The Agave Mocha was very, very sweet. I felt like I was drinking straight sugar. I’m okay with sweet things but this was a lot. Maybe if I try it again, I would ask for less sugar. This is a cool place to hang out on a lazy morning. There is a nice patio area for you to enjoy the breeze., just order less sugar on your drinks!

Really enjoyed the ambiance of this place. Music wasn’t crazy loud like Starbucks and has a great vibe to study and do work because of all the light coming in through the windows. Agave also offers really healthy food choices from salads to wraps. I had the turkey wrap which was on point. Came with a load of delicious fresh fruit. I was completely satisfied. Ordered my fabulous americano but this time got it iced. The cool thing about this place is that they have an outdoor patio so you can lounge and relax. Parking available in the parking structure. And to top it off, the most EXCELLENT customer service. This place is going to be one of my go-to’s all summer.

I’ll be honest, I came here because the Cover Photo is a Cat drawn through Latte Art. Where is this place and where can I get that now?! It just so happened to be next door to where I was eating. YAAAS! Since it is in a more business district, the hours are shorter. But the coffee and food are legit. I prefer coffee places that offer GOOD coffee, free wifi, a lot of tables with a large table space needed for studying, and a food selection that stretches further than baked goods. This place has ALLOFTHAT! Plus there’s seating outside as well. I also appreciate that this place, unlike other coffee chains I know: cough: starbucks: cough: doesn’t blast cold air into the café to kick out customers near closing time. Service was great! The Barista who took my order stepped out from behind the counter to actually deliver my plate of food and drinks to me. He also checked on me as well. I ordered the Caprese Sandwich was a salad on the side with a Latteccino. I appreciate that they offer more variety with their milks. They offer Almond Milk in addition to their Soy, Whole, Fat Free, etc. options. While I didn’t get my Cat, I’m going to come back again so I can get that cat. Totally recommend. I would suggest park in the parking garage in the back and exit the structure towards the church if you need to turn left on East H Street. It’s a lot less painful than turning right on East H only to realize that you need to do a u-turn.
