I’m usually a wabba grill kinda person but their chicken has been kinda dry lately. So glad I came here, the chicken is way better. Plus, I forgot my debit card at home and the cashier was nice enough to give it to me for free. For sure a flame broiler person now

Love this place. Healthy food and portion is adequate. Staff are super friendly. Can use better furnitures though. Not bad for a quick meal. Will continue to go to this location.

Can’t say how dirty this location is. Went to this location on convenience instead of normal spectrum one down the street. What a difference and also a huge mistake. The bowls are simply put half full. We went there at 3 in the afternoon and maybe they were low from lunch rush, but considering how filthy the place is it might be a blessing that we didn’t get food poisoning with the half we did get. Love this food chain, absolutely despise the location. Worth the 5 extra minutes to drive down the street to the next location.

Ordered two half and half plates to go, both were absolutely terrible. The meat was dry and was like eating beef jerky without the flavor. The chicken tasted fatty and undercooked and I believe it probably was because my daughter threw up after eating a couple of pieces of it. I gave it to my dog and she turned away from it as well. I think the flame broiler chain in general needs to find a different way to cook their food. If you want the same style go to Waba Grill they are heads and tails above Flame Broiler. I am by far not a picky eater by any means but this place made me give it to my dog who did not even want it. No wonder there was nobody in there. Bottom line this chain needs some cooking lessons from Waba Grill.

You guys killed the name«The Flame Broiler». I no longer think of FB the same as I used to. Idk if all the Chino Hills employees are incompetent, but I’ve been to this location 3 times and each time they burned my half and half bowl. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVEFLAMEBROILER… But I don’t like eating sand in my bowl… Yes it tastes like I’m eating sand! These idiots burned so many pieces of my meat, and also included all of the burned pieces from the grill *it seems like*, I couldn’t even finish my bowl. I ALWAYSFINISHTHEBOWLS. So that should say something yes? It was so gross that I didn’t finish eating it! How can you serve trash like that? You need to fire your cooks and get COMPETENT cooks that can actually COOKMEATPROPERLY. I wish Gordon Ramsay would come here to criticize how bad you guys cook your bowls. It’s ridiculous. The Fullerton Flame broiler knows how to cook a decent bowl. Maybe you should learn from them because you guys are serving BELOWSTANDARD food. I choose to eat here to be healthier, yet it’s worse for my health eating all that charcoal… I’d rather eat McDonalds than come back here. What a damn shame.

Ordered an Angus beef bowl and found a piece of metal in my food that was about 2 inches in length, which looked like it came off a wire brush. Could of turned out horrible if swallowed especially for a child who might not of caught it. Quality of food was not that great, I think Waba Grill is way better.

should be 5 stars since I go here all the time. but my experience on 6÷20÷14 Friday night has inspired me to write sucha a lousy review. Service goes a lonnng way. Ive been coming here a long time, multiple times a week because im into the whole paleo thing. usually the service is pretty good, efficient and friendly. But this chick on friday is making my take my business elsewhere. So we order at like 845 and me and fiancé set up our station to get ready to eat then we get our food at 850 and she goes«your going to have to take this to go since we close in 10 min» WTF maybe tell us before i order my meal, so we end up packing our stuff and eating outside lol. whats ironic is that next door is sustainjuicery the place was closed but we were looking inside and they opened the door for us and let us in. and next door fishalicous was about to close and someone took a couple in as well hmmmm Im duke at this joint but someone else can have it. i gotta take my money elsewhere

I absolutely love flame broiler and eat it on the regular. However, this particular Flame broiler just plain SUCKS! Service is awful; the 2 Hispanic ladies that work there(one older, one younger) are more preoccupied with talking on their cell phones or the cook in the back, then take your order. The younger woman didn’t even get off the phone while taking my order, then after I paid went right back to her conversation. Umm hello manger!!! Where are you to fire this girl?! Food is subpar; give you a bowl full of rice with maybe a couple pieces of chicken on top… Um ya pretty sure I’ll pass on paying $ 7 for rice thanks. Second part is even the small amount of chicken that was given sucked. Wasn’t cut up at all and tasted like rubber. All in all this flame broiler sucks. Super disappointed. Never going there again.

Normally I would have without a doubt given The Flame Broiler 5⁄5 Stars, because the food is so delicious, but this particular Flame Broiler coincidentally had no one sitting in there while surrounding restaurant’s were packed. That should have been the first sign, but half way thru the meal both my wife and I were pestered by what appeared to be fruit flies. There were so many that i had to ut the lid back on my bowl after every bite just to keep the flies out. FOOD A+ CLEANLINESS C– OVERALL. B–

For cheap eats. It’s great. And it’s really really good for you. At least that’s what I keep telling myself. This ain’t my first rodeo here so here is my advice. Don’t even think about the ribs they’re gross. The beef is not top shelf otherwise they wouldn’t be chopping it up so small. If they didn’t you be chewing it like gum. Here it is. Get the all white meat chicken and veggie bowl. Then load that bad boy up with the hot sauce. BAMM! Dinner is served.

My husband and I enjoy their food for a quick meal without breaking the bank. Food is tasty and fresh. I like that you have options between white or brown rice. Portion is good(as I don’t want to waste food). Their magic sauce is an extra plus!

It’s rice, veggies and meat, some admittedly tasty«Magic Sauce» and those trademark green onions. It’s not horrible and it’s not super great either; it’s good in a pinch and a sorta satisfying work lunch. Whaddya want me to say? You come here knowing what to expect and this place delivers. It’s not rocket science, folks. This is why I hate them: 1. The«magic» in their Magic Sauce is salt. 480 mg of sodium, to be exact. So go easy when you’re pumping their Magic stick and filling up those tiny plastic containers. 60 calories each. 2. Because a bowl of rice, GMO veggies and broiled chicken flesh is $ 5, but if I don’t want the fowl carcass, I have to pay $ 6. And when I changed my order to a chicken bowl with the chicken on the side, they said they couldn’t do that. [RANT: What the frak, man? I’m being financially punished for not eating meat?! What does that tell you about how badly they want you to ingest their hormone and antibiotic filled animals? They are willing to sacrifice a buck in order to get their meat down your throat and y’all just happily swallow it. You should be ashamed of yourselves *glares* #vegetarianproblems /END RANT] 3. Their magic sauce is super sticky and they should offer Wet-naps or something. Is that what they’re called? «Wet-naps?» Those little moist towelettes that you get at places where they serve sticky foods? Like BBQ sauce… Magic Sauce… I dunno. I just really hate sticky fingers. Ok I’m done.

what in the world. first time going to flame broiler. i got mini half n half, take out. the lady asked if i wanted white or brown. I said, «brown.» then she said if i wanted green onions. I replied, «yes.» after driving back home, i looked at my food. it’s mini half n half with WHITE rice and NO green onions. If the place was busy i’d understand a bit better, but it was empty to the point someone in the back had to get an employee to help me out. atm, i’m too hungry to drive back 30 mins to tell them this. i heard great things about this restaurant. the food is actually good. but not happy with their lack of attention. esp when it wasn’t even busy at all.

I love this place. If I am dieting, splurging for lunch, or just looking for cooked ingredients to add to a casserole dish for to nights dinner. Their chicken bowls are always a good choice. You can order their bowl with no rice just vegetable, or rice and veggies or just white rice or brown. If you are into beef, you can get the same with just beef instead. They also sell dinner platters too. Their teriyaki or chili sauce just enhances the flavors in their dishes. And they top their dishes with green onion for flavor too. I always ask for extra green onion. :-) If you have not tried Flame Broiler if you are looking for a healthy meal.

I can eat Terriyaki chicken bowls for practically every meal until the day I die, and Flame Broiler is not that bad. I like how they have a station where you can get as much of the«Special Sauce» as you want without having to ask the workers(I even know of places that charge extra!) The chicken was a little gristly, but eh, you get that everywhere. This place is good in my book for an affordable meal.

I often come here for a quick lunch. Josie is really nice, she’s always smiling and has a lot of energy. She definitely makes our visits there that much better. I normally get«the works» in a bowl. The size of the bowl is reasonable, not too small and not too big. I enjoy the steam vegetables with sriracha(you have to ask for it) But their teriyaki sauce are pretty good too. And with the low prices and healthy mind set, its a quick meal that will leave your wallet full. I’ve also tried their rib plate, and I must say, it’s very good. A little on the salty side, but I enjoyed it. +1 star for not charging for brown rice.

I first came to this location about 1.5 years ago and was not happy. The food want fresh and the place was never clean. I started going to a location near my office since this location near my house was awful. The other my cousin drags me here to satisfy his craving and I’m happy to report things have changed for the better. My guess is that they are under new ownership or management. Food is fresh, restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. I’ll be back again!

The following is my 9 year old’s review of her experience at flame broiler: it was very tender because the chicken was moist and this magic sauce was awesome!
