This place is one of good sushi place i know. I came by at dinner time and it was pretty busy but they tried to serve our food asap. And the food was delicious, especially popcorn roll! I love it! Definetly come again!

I came during a busy time for dinner, but was seated promptly. My table did AYCE with AYCD(all you can drink $ 9.99). Food came quickly and service very satisfactory. Will definitely be coming back!

Came in tonight for a early birthday celebration and I couldn’t be more pleased! We sat at the sushi bar and Ken our sushi chef was very outgoing and fun. He made our group special rolls off the menu and even a few rolls on the house! We took advantage of the all you can eat and all you can drink for 10 dollars more which included beer and sake! What a great deal! All different types of sake bombs, and delivery! I was even allowed to lead in the sake bomb chant while everyone followed! By far the best and my new favorite sushi restaurant! I will definitely be returning! Thank you Hime and staff!

My friend and I had just finished at the gym and randomly wanted some AYCE sushi — I know, we worked out to eat LOL. I usually go to Sushi Asahi but it was fairly late in the evening and we weren’t in the mood to drive far. Upon walking in, I noticed that the place was fairly small, about half a house full, a few unbussed tables and only two servers(I assumed they had just gotten done with a dinner rush). We were greeted and asked if we wanted to sit at the bar as there were no clean tables atm. Service from the chef and the servers were kind — they gave us sauces and extra ginger as asked, refilled our waters, and bussed our empty plates accordingly. The issue we had was that after the first round, you’re not allowed to order certain(more expensive/special) rolls the following two rounds. I’ve never been to an AYCE sushi restaurant where they excluded rolls from the second/third round. So imagine our disappointment when we encountered that. It wasn’t thaaaat big of a deal and we still enjoyed most of the rolls and sushi(riceless Rock’n’Roll and the Hime roll was nice, mussels tasted fine); however, I would rather go to a different sushi restaurant if I wanted AYCE again. I also saw a picture of their lunch specials M-TH where you can get two rolls from their selected menu + two pieces of shrimp tempura for only $ 9.99 which seems like a really good deal considering there were a few special rolls besides the basic Cali/spicy tuna rolls. Overall 3.5* — price for dinner($ 22.99) isn’t too shabby, food was fine and service was standard. There was just nothing above par to make me round up lol

Amazing sushi!!! The all you can eat sushi and appetizers for $ 22.99 is the best deal ever but when you add all you can drink beer and sake for $ 10 more… there’s no way you can pass it up! I’m a Chino native and I have never experienced a sushi restaurant this fantastic in the area. The staff is hard working and dedicated to serving the customer. I have had nothing but good experiences here and will continue to be a repeat customer.

first of all, i’ve been to many all you can eat sushi place, and this place is so far the«worst» place i’ve been to. this place doesn’t even deserve one star. their sushi rolls are made of 99% rice!!! as you can see on my pictures and they want to charge us for not eating it. i told the server, irene, and she said that we can’t order anymore sushi. i asked for the manager and sent this guy, jay, saying he’s the manager, and later on admit to us that he is «not» the manager. we still paid our bill despite the fact that we are not happy with the food especially the service. i suggest to anyone who reads this not eat in this restaurant!!! again, if you love sushi, believe me, do not go to this place you will be very disappointed and waste your money… i would want to talk with the owner and want to hear what they have to say.

My husband and I came here a few nights ago. We are always on the hunt for some amazing sushi, and something close by to home! Hime Sushi was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent, and our food came out almost immediately after we ordered. Their salmon sashimi was so fresh. The eel surpassed our expectations! It definitely was the most delicious eel I have ever tried. And their ono was divine. We will be back, the hubby cannot stop raving about you guys! :)

I love that we found this all you can eat so close to my house! Reasonably priced too! My husband and I come here at least twice a week! Make sure to ask for Ken and Judy! They both make us feel welcome the second we walk through the door. The second we sit down at the sushi bar, Judy puts my hot green tea and my husbands Cass down as we’re sitting down. They make sure to make every experience personal. They’re always having us try new fish/rolls! This place will always have a special place in our hearts!

Got a sushi roll from Hime to-go during lunch, and they were really accommodating in making sure my roll wasn’t too spicy. The fish on the roll was fresh, and I wouldn’t mind coming back here again to dine-in.

Not impressed. We decided to try this place for poke… yes poke. The other poke gig in town had questionable recent reviews, sooo we came here. It was 2 scoop poke for $ 5.99 or 3 scoop for $ 6.99…what a deal! We order two 3 scoop bowls, rice only, and chose our fish and toppings. Bowls arrive, there’s lots of salad, which we didn’t ask for, seaweed salad that I didn’t ask for, and the smallest amount of fish that any poke bowl has ever seen! The little bit of fish that was in there was mostly chewy, the vain was in almost every piece! Very disappointed, but for $ 7 bucks I guess two stars. Also: on the holidays you pay dinner prices all day :( First and last visit.

Wanted to try a new sushi place, so my boyfriend and I came and each got AYCE. Totally worth it, we got 5 rolls, and we love sushi so we finished everything haha. But we ended up spending less than if we were to go somewhere else and order the same amount. The only downside I could see is if someone came and ordered way more sushi than they could finish and had to pay for the roll separately, but when you finish everything it’s definitely worth it

Used to going to another spot for AYCE. So I thought I’d try something new and go to this spot. It’s $ 17 for AYCEBUT it’d only for certain items. If you want to get appetizers and sashimi it goes up to $ 22. It wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. And the rolls were kind of sloppy. One thing I didn’t try that seemed kind of interesting was the All you can drink for an additional 9.99 added to your AYCE price.

The only reason they do not get 5 stars is he Sushi chef was not super friendly. Just made us feel like another customer on a busy night, in fact it was not busy at all. There are in fact two different AYCE deals, ask about them before you order. The fish to rice portion was great, earning the 4 stars. I will be returning to this location again, with friends.

Never coming back here again! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Decided to try this place out from the 4 star review this place has and I was completely disappointed. We came for the AYCE and this place by far has more rice in the sushi and rolls than any other place we have ever been to. The rice for sushi is supposed to be cold vinegar rice but this place has regular hot rice which does not go well with raw fish. Would not recommend anyone to come here unless you like to get full with rice…

Quality sushi and friendly staff. The sushi chef was extremely generous with his choices and even made me a few special rolls and salads to my liking. I will definitely come back to Hime as it is down the street from my Jiu Jitsu gym and also only a few miles from home. Great food, great location, great ambience, and they even have All You Can Eat and Drink!!!

It would have been a 3 but that uni gained it an extra star, and the service was good. Our waitress was a middle age Japanese lady and she was adorable and super sweet from beginning to end. The younger server was a bit less on par, practically threw our food onto our table but luckily the other lady made up for the younger one’s lack of customer service. TREATYOURCUSTOMERSKINDLY, it’s really not that hard. First time trying this place out, me and my friend were starving and found this ayce place on Unilocal.Upon arrival, we were greeted and sat down pretty quickly, it was around 3pm so it wasn’t busy. They have 2AYCE menus to choose from, pretty interesting most sushi ayce is one menu only and the lunch prices are pretty cheap! For the«better» menu it’s only 22.99 for the dinner price(most places average at $ 25) so just imagine, their lunch and the cheaper menu is all under 22.99! Not bad. They have all the usuals and they have uni and they don’t skimp out on it! It is a big, fat, fresh piece of uni. It was on point. Most ayce sushi places that serve uni give sad little pieces because uni is pricier but this place is no joke. Of course it is limited to one order per person but that’s pretty standard. Overall the food was mediocre, hence why I originally considered rating it a 3 star. The fish to rice ratio is pretty sad. The slices of fish are nice and fat but so are the portions of rice. Way too much! Aside from that we ordered a hime roll which is different types of fish with imitation crab meat wrapped in soy paper, your standard no rice roll, but the amount of imitation crab meat was way too much. We also got another roll and it was basic, nothing special. Almost tasted like rolls you can buy at the grocery store. The tempura wasn’t good either, it was very thin slices of vegetable and the tempura wasn’t crispy and instead a little soggy. The mussels were surprisingly really good, not over cooked and overly chewy. We ordered it twice because it was good, but the presentation for all their food was pretty lacking. It’s like they just threw it on a plate, I know it’s not really a big deal because it all ends up in the same place but presentation can make food either more appetizing or UNappetizing! Go for the uni and for the mussels. Would I go back? Maybe. But is it my go to ayce sushi? Nah. THEFOURTHSTARISFORTHESWEETSERVERWEHADANDTHEUNI! Don’t be fooled.

I decided to check out this spot for lunch. Good choice! I ordered seaweed salad and salmon sushi. It’s been a while since I’ve had sushi that was so delicious! The salmon almost melted in my mouth and the rice was just as good. The seaweed salad was very lite, crisp and refreshing. No soy sauce or wasabi was necessary. Chef Jun is the new homie. Before I left had had me try TWO of his chef’s specials. I never had white tuna before but boy was it delish. He seared the top with a torch. If I wasn’t aware I would have thought he was giving me crème brule :^) His second special was unknown and his recipe was a secret. It was tastier than the first! I’ll definitely need to come back with some friends for the AYCE and AYCDrink special Thank you chef Jun, I’ll definitely be back for more tasty chef specials!!! –A satisfied customer named Garrett :)

Second time here. I did AYCE after day of football. My kids are not fans of sushi so fed them before. I don’t know if it was me but the server seemed a little bitter and was very serious about the AYCE rules to make sure I could understand them(excuse me Ms Waitress, I have multiple degrees from higher level institutions and I can read. You don’t need to be all rude about it just because my family is sitting with me). Sushi was good. Nothing to rave about. The rolls are hit or miss. Whenever, I compare the rolls I get to the rolls on the Unilocal site they look nothing like the pics. The seared yellow tail roll was completely off. I was a bit put off by the server just yanking plates out from under me while I was eating. For example, I was stacking plates at my table bc it was getting crowded and the waitress would reach right under the plate and pull out the old ones. Not cool. Wife ordered some fried rice and a teriyaki chicken plate. She shared that with kids. Funny part about the AYCE was my daughter(5yr old) wanted to try my tempura calimari but didn’t share bc it wasn’t allowed. She was perplexed about the no sharing concept but I would have ordered her a dish. Overall, place is OK. I prefer to get the AYCDrink. I would go back maybe without family.
