I’ve been coming to lyndsey for a little over two years for my brazilian wax and facials and I love her! She’s always so professional and makes what could be an uncomfortable situation (my brazilian) quick and painless! And her facials are amazing! Super relaxing and leaves me feeling like a million bucks after! I highly recommend her! You will not be disappointed!

Lyndsey is my skin, body, and soul doctor and now friend. I found Lyndsey through Unilocal about 5 months ago, I initially came to her for a facial and after talking to her she informed me of all the other services she does — waxing, body wraps, different facials, and spray tanning. Well needless to say. I have done every service she offers, and now come in routinely. I come in once a month for waxing and facials. After every facial my skin looks and feels brand new. She keeps up with what’s current and what new products are out there, she is very diligent in doing research and using the absolute best quality product on her clients based on their skin type. She always makes suggestions on at home routine in how to keep your skin healthy. Her waxing service is excellent she uses quality wax so it doesn’t burn and is ideal for sensitive areas. I’ve come to her for body wraps that are detoxing and fat burning. And my personal favorite is her tanning, she truly gives you the most natural tan — it’s the sun kissed glow and she adjusts the darkness level to your needs, it’s not like other tanning solution — there is absolutely no orange or artificial look about the color. When I have done it, people can’t put their finger on what is different they just say «wow you look great, are u working out? What are you doing?» — it’s very natural and everyone always feels a little better after a sun kiss. And most importantly Lyndsey is the sweetest person with such a good heart, every session is like visiting a friend. She will take good care of you and always make sure you are comfortable. I have been getting facials by Lyndsey for the last couple of months. My skin has definitely improved. She is very knowledgeable to the products she uses and how to improve my complexion. I am very relaxed when I leave as her facials include a facial, neck and shoulder massage. If you are looking for a profession facial, look no further.

I first met Lyndsey when I was attending university as she was only a few blocks away in Diamond Bar. At the time, she was working under someone else but her services are superb. I was a little nervous given how close an esthetician comes in contact with you but Lyndsey was very kind and personable during the entire experience. I got my usual facial and an eyebrow wax. I was happy with my services and kept coming on a monthly basis.
The time came I decided to get my first bikini wax. I was incredibly nervous and scared given it is a very personal thing but she walked me through the entire process. She told me what to expect and she was very soothing throughout the entire experience. She ensured me there was nothing to be self-​conscious about. I left feeling very happy with the experience. Minimal amount of pain, no complications, bleeding, or bruising. Best to take an aspirin before your wax session if you are sensitive to pain or a first-​timer though. Eventually I took the plunge and did my first Brazilian. Lyndsey does her best to talk and distract you as she removes all the unwanted hair.
As for facials, Lyndsey follows a natural ingredients approach and is very knowledgeable in skin care. At first, I was incredibly stubborn and didn’t want to deviate from my facial care routine department store purchases. When I’d come to Lyndsey, she informed me how congested my face was. It took awhile for me to listen but I started using her recommended products and it made a world of difference to my skin. My skin is clear and each time I come back, she notices how much my skin cleared up. Lyndsey also is superb in minimizing the amount of discomfort when it comes to extractions. I’ve seen other estheticians and experienced much more searing pain when it came to extractions. None can compare to Lyndsey when it comes to minimal extraction pain.
Lyndsey moved to Chino Hills to pursue her own business but I was happy to follow her there for her expert waxing and facials. It’s a bit further of a drive but Lyndsey is very accommodating of my schedule.
I was getting married and entrusted Lyndsey with all of my wax and skin care needs as my wedding approached. My skin looked beautiful, she de-​stressed me during wedding planning, my waxing needs were all met (brows, upper lip, armpits, arms). I even did her body wrap, which really did take a few inches off my body and made me glow for the big day! Lyndsey was so sweet and wished me luck on the day of my wedding!
I highly recommend Lyndsey for all your waxing and facial needs. I once was told, «Once you find an amazing Brazilian waxer, stay with her!» and truer words could not have been said. I tried someone else just out of convenience (I work far from Chino) and it hurt a heck of a lot more than just going to Lyndsey like I should have. Having Lyndsey do my facial and my Brazilian wax is a very relaxing and unwinding experience. It is like meeting with a good friend for coffee every month. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

I’ve never had a Brazilian wax done and was very, very apprehensive about getting it done until my daughter (who gets it done monthly) convinced me that Brazilian waxing is way better than shaving or using Nair products. My daughter decided to find me someone in my area and came across Cloud 9 Skin & Body who had great Unilocal reviews, so I decided to give it a go.
I contacted Lyndsey who was super sweet and set up my 1^st time appointment. She was AWESOME! She made me feel very comfortable and not at all embarrassed with small talk as she worked her skills lol. She’s very thorough in what she does and professionally explained every detail of what to expect. She also didn’t try to sell me any products like I’ve read from other salon Unilocal reviews. She really made my 1^st time a great experience to where I’ve already scheduled my next follow up.

I had been wanting to get a Brazilian for YEARS, but never did because… well…I’m a baby. It sounds so painful. I reached out to Lyndsey via email and she was so professional and encouraging that I went ahead and gave it a try. Besides fearing the pain, the idea of a Brazilian sounds embarrassing. Lyndsey made me feel so comfortable and I have to say the pain wasn’t anywhere near what I thought it would be. I didn’t take any pain killers beforehand and I didn’t use any numbing cream. If you’ve never had one, get one. If you’re seasoned and are looking for somebody to go to, try her. She’s amazing! While there I also got a spray tan. She was quick and it came out awesome! This was my first time getting a Brazilian wax so I was obviously nervous. I read about Lindsey through Unilocal and since I live near the area decided to call her and set an appointment. Lindsey is really friendly and explained what to do before coming in. The room where the waxing takes place is small and tranquil with soothing music and a comfortable place to rest as she does her work. It did hurt, but I was surprised it wasn’t as horrible as I had imagined, and Lindsey distracts you by keeping conversation. I will definitely be back again next month!

Lori had done my lash extensions here about 3 weeks prior & although I disn’t care for the look of the lashes (they were so long & unnatural looking that I looked like a transvestite,) but she had done a great job putting them in in about an hour or less. I was due to have them redone, since so many had already fallen off. We had agreed last time that she’d put shorter, more natural looking ones next & I was ok with that.
I had less than 7 – 8 extension lashes left on each side that had 2 be taken on & more subtle lashes to be put in. When I make the appointment, they had me wait for a while to make sure they knew who did my lashes, so I could get the same person. When I got there, Lori wasn’t there, & they said she had stopped working there. I wasn’t happy about not knowing ahead of time, but as long as this new person did ok, I wouldn’t care. Long story short, it took her over 3 hours to take a few lashes off & put on new ones. It was a horrible experience & when she was done, the tape she put on took off twice to hold my lower lashes away, had eaten through my skin & pulling it off had caused blisters under my eyes & cheeks. That was not the worse part! Both my eyes were glued shot!!! She had to use the chemical remover to remove all the glue over flow to try & get my eyes open… When she was finally done, some of the extensions were put in crooked & looked really bad… But, I had been in so much pain from all the pulling on my lashes & the take eating my skin that I just asked her to leave it. She didn’t sound like she even knew how to fix the problem either & kept blaming it on my natural lashes… I knew that was not true, since less than 3 weeks ago Lori had put in lashes that were all in the right direction!
My extensions look halfway decent, but 3 hours & 15 mins of torture by an inexperienced person was way to much & they’re nothing to brag about either.
I can c why Lori quit this salon & why they’ve lost 2 people in less 1 month that I’ve been there twice!
The esthetisian was ber nice, but nice does not makeup for the pain I had to go through to get my eyes unglued & the damage done to my skin from 3+ hours of taping. She kept complaining about the glue & the tape & claimed she’d bring her own next time. I guess, I was her first unlucky experiment.

Lindsey is amazing!!! Talk about professional, knows what she’s doing and makes the waxing, body wrapping, and facial experience so enjoyable (She offers more services but I’m enjoying these three right now!)
I met Lindsey in Diamond Bar and followed her to Chino where she has started her own business. She resides inside Giovanni’s Salon in Chino (Who also has great ratings as well!).
Lindsey is very considerate and ensures you have a great skin experience. She has been in the business for years and her expertise in skin care has helped my skin tremendously. She also know her products and I appreciate that! She’s never tries to sell you anything you don’t need and is never push! She’s a sweetheart and I look forward to my next session!

I first met Lindsey when she was working for another studio in Diamond Bar, and now she is this fully grown independent esthetician and I couldn’t be more proud! The drive to her new place is a little further for me, but I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have continued to be her loyal client unless she were one of the best waxers that I’ve been to. I usually get a brazilian wax and an arm wax and she always does a clean job, and the waxing is as painless as a waxing can essentially can. Waxing is never pleasant, but I’ve never dreaded going to my waxing appointments with Lindsey as I have before in the past with other estheticians. These appointments generally turn out to be somewhat entertaining because I always enjoy hearing about the adventures/​developments in her life — but I always find other people’s lives entirely more fascinating than my own, so maybe it’s just me?
This review is primarily for waxing, but I know she has other services such as facials, body wraps, etc. (I’m not entirely sure on the specifics); however, other than waxing, she’s done a spray tan on me once before at her previous studio, but I’m not sure if she’s doing that at this location. I found no flaws with the spray tan and the color seemed to match me perfectly.
In terms of scheduling, I’ve always made an appointment before arriving even if it’s only a couple hours before I want to go in, and she’s always been accommodating to my schedule.
The esthetician table/​bed has this super super comfortable lining that makes you want to take a nap, and she has very reasonable prices so I would highly recommend Lindsey (especially if you’re thinking about trying a Brazilian for the first time).
Note on Location: She works out of a room in the back of a salon named Giovanni’s, so you’ll probably have a hard time looking for the name Cloud 9, but the Giovanni’s sign is huge and there’s plenty of parking in front and around the store/​salon.
