Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

This particular location does not put enough filling in their doughnuts. I thought it was just the first doughnut but 2 dozen later we all agreed that they were all lacking enough filling compared to other locations in California. Literally only the last bite had filling. Very disappointed.

No Valentines Day donuts. So a group of people and I stood in a line waiting to be helped and there was one poor girl working the counter and couldn’t even help any of us. So after like 10 –15 minutes I just left. Sorry honey and Michel no special donuts.

This location is amazing and the staff are a great help to their company. The very first time I came I was greeted warmly with smiles, and every time since its been the same.
The donuts are amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the price is right. I used to go to a lot of the local donut shops in town, but the people here are so friendly I won’t go anywhere else now.
Even though Krispy Kreme is a national organization, the staff here love the local community. They have worked with me on numerous occasions to provide donuts for events, always making it a joy.
I encourage you to come and see for yourself, and enjoy a yummy Krispy Kreme.

The doughnuts are out of this world. However, the staff are either untrained, too young or don’t know how to remind mothers with screaming children who are running around other customers to please behave so that ALL their customers can enjoy the atmosphere together. I even called to explain that I had planned on staying inside and would have ordered drinks for my family and spent twice as much money, but not when I can’t even hear the staff talking to me because of the uncontrolled noise level of other kids. The sales associate who answered the phone didn’t apologize and didn’t seem to understand. I work extremely hard for my money and will find another place to spend my dollars for a doughnut where I don’t have to worry about being tripped before I get to my table.

I saw this Krispy Kreme on my way driving into Chico, California. As we left later in the evening, I made it a point to stop. However, we had missed the turn as we drove south back towards Sacramento. We had to drive all the way to the light, and made a u-​turn back (about 2 miles). This Krispy Kreme is tucked into a corner next to the In & Out burger (funny how they are always together). The store was clean, and the bathroom were clean and smelled clean.
We were fortunate that they had a fundraiser that was scheduled on that day, however, the organization canceled at the last minute. Therefore, Krispy Kreme had a lot of glazed donuts that they needed to get rid of. The bad part was, they did not make any fresh off the belt glazed donuts while we were there. The good part was that we got a sweet deal on the purchase of glazed dozen donuts.
Dejia, the sale associate that helped us was very helpful and nice. She was very patient was we slowly selected our mixed dozen like kids in a candy store.
Because of the great customer service that I received that night from Dejia, I give it a 4 star. If it would of been the hot off the press glaze, it would have been 5 stars.

Good things: nice atmosphere. Clean. Nice layout. Original glaze was good.
Bad: mocha freeze was more like a shake. Filled donuts were not very good. Not very fresh.

Drive thru is slow. Donuts are rarely ever fresh. They are always out of certain kinds. Workers are friendly though.

ADDICTED!!! Yes, I need to attend a support group for Krispy Kreme addicts. Because I do not live near nor have never lived near a Krispy Kreme I cannot help but stop at every one I happen upon. We were going to Sierra Nevada for lunch and there it was — ahhhhhhhhhh (the heavens part a little with harp music) — on the off ramp. Of course my hubby knew he could not deny me. I ordered a plain glazed donut. It is simple and it is perfect — every single time I eat one. We also got a six pack to go so we had some for breakfast.

Background — Headed to Sierra Nevada and my wife spotted this on the off ramp. She loves Krispy Kreme and the one in Reno closed.
Atmosphere — Cookie Cutter layout of the modern Krispy Kreme. The problem is location; it was very difficult to get in and out. It might have been because it was the last shopping weekend before Christmas.
Food
Dessert — One classic glazed donut. That is all one needs to be happy. They were not fresh off the line as it was probably between their rushes.
Service — Friendly, greeted right away and he waited for us to decide as we got 6 for the road.
Future — Yes, because my wife loves the place.

This was by far the best looking Krispy Kreme’s in Northern California. I am a fan and I hope to return again soon.

Pros:

— Coupons always being distributed in Chico.
Cons:
— Donuts make me fatter?
— Next door to an In-​n-​Out (you seriously had to build a Krispy Kreme next to an In-​n-​Out?).
I wasn’t a fan of this Krispy Kreme during its initial appearance in Chico due to all of the hype surrounding it. After going out of business for several years (or so) it returned. I’m a sucker for coupons and, thanks to the generous distribution of Krispy Kreme coupons in Chico, I have visited this Krispy Kreme enough that I’m beginning to become a fan. I love the interior as it’s warm, inviting, modern, and interesting, making it one of the few places I’d be willing to sit down and just relax. Every time I’ve visited this Krispy Kreme the interior has been spotless, the employees have been friendly, and the donuts have been fresh and plentiful. On my most recent visit I redeemed a coupon for a free medium Houseblend black coffee which I found tasty. Finally, the donuts are yummy and well made.

donuts are a 4 and service was a 5. I dont leave many reviews for many things. but the people there working this morning acted like I was their best friend. It honestly put me in a good mood. Super nice. Ive had good service at places before, but I dont think a server or cashier has ever been that nice to me. If I wasnt such a fatty Id go visit more. :)

They honor coupons readily and will do custom orders on free donuts if it isn’t too busy inside. Got a free holiday donut filled with lemon before.
Plus the girls who work here are pretty cute.

They’re good at what they do; cheap, tasty donuts 24 hours per day. Is it the best donut you’ll ever have? Nope. They lack the care that a smaller mom and pop donut shop would have as well as the variety. Their lack of bars and twists was a huge bummer.

Great donuts, decent coffee. Stay away from the nasty fruit slushy drinks. Service OK but they get really busy. Best part is watching the automatic donut making machine. Drive through is convenient and fast.

I’ve never actually been inside this place, because we always go through the drive thru. I’ve been spoiled by only eating fresh hot donuts, so I always ask which donuts are the most fresh. One time in particular, the lady told me that the Hot Original Glazed just came out! They are the best! They melt in your mouth! Be sure to stop by when you see the Hot Donuts sign on! The jelly filled is good too, if it hasnt been sitting for too long. And the same goes for the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled! And theyre drive through is open 24 hours! Plus they will give you a free Krispy Kreme paper hat if you ask with a smile! :)

Delicious treats, miserable service.
I’ve been in twice so far and I’ve had no service both times. There are way too kids meandering around the counters chatting and bumping into each other to be efficient. Don’t bother asking questions about the donuts, nobody knows the answer. Or gives you different answers. The first time I tried to buy my tasty goodies the cashier TOTALLY ignored me! My friend had bought her stuff and I was behind her, and some others behind me waiting to be rung up. But after my bestie paid a girl coworker walked up to the guy cashier and just started chatting him up. He saw me behind my friend and looked back at me while chatting but had to finish his gossipfest about coworkers and school first. Luckily the chat was under a minute. The second time I went the cashiers at least talked with each other while still ringing people up.
Though there are few things tastier than a fresh, warm, glazed donut that literally melts in your mouth and is a great price, I’d rather go to a local shop to get better customer service.

Awesome to have a Krispy Kreme so close to Redding again! So excited. Just came through with a van full of girls and was served quickly & with a smile! Mike the manager is doing a excellent job! High five to Mike!

Yum! Love me an original Krispy Kreme doughnut. Happy that one has popped up in Chico.
