Wolniak Funeral Home

I know, again here I go how morbid. But I live a few doors down the block from here, and of course having many senior neighbors, I get to see the funeral home on an all the time basis. The staff here are wonderful people and they are always accommodating for even the person who is confused by the process. My neighbor waked his mom here and I saw first hand how well they were treated and how very professional they do treat everyone.
Its still a bit of a 70’s feel but nonetheless, what they lack in look (although it is tastefully done and very clean) they make up for in service. And I can appreciate how they can make a person who has died still look alive. (I once did make up for the dead so I can spot the ones who care) and they do so care here on how a person looks.
My advice is though, always take them several photos of your loved one and if possible of different angles, this helps in the process of tonality and actual realness.

I have had many, many positive interactions with the staff at Wolniak. I find them to be considerate, polite and very accomodating. Sometimes the ladies can have a brusque phone manner, ending conversations abruptly but that is just how they are, they do it to everyone. Wolniak family members have been extremely generous supporters of St. Turibius Church and School over the years. Many of the parishioners I have served at St. Turibius have had family members sevred by the Wolniak Family Funeral Home and I think it is an excellent choice.
