My wife’s family has been working with Michael at Jazzy Florist for years. Weddings, Funerals, whatever you need… Michael is there for you. the prices are right, the service-​both customer service in-​house and delivery-​are excellent. The flowers we ordered for our wedding required a lot of «extras» and Michael was able to engineer everything we needed until it was perfect! I understand now why my wife’s family always calls Jazzy for family events. It may not be fancy but what they lack in glitz they make up for in personal attention.

Nestled in West Elsdon neighborhood is Jazzy Florist. A family owned business of many years and resold to yet another family member less than a year ago.
I had to go to a wake of a neighbor across the street at funeral home. Of course, this is our neighborhood flower shop so I went in and was greeted. Let them know what I needed and did not want an arrangement that has been sitting there but something more personal and newly made. I was obliged and waiting for about 10 minutes while the older woman created something just for me.
Very economical and beautifully arranged. And they take credit cards!
This is not a fancy uppity joint, but a place where you can get something if your in the neighborhood. There are two funeral parlor on the block so this is the perfect place to get something in a hurry. Highly recommend but 3 star comes from the fact that they have roses and other easily found flowers, had they had real Hawaiian hibiscus than maybe I would have challenged the number to a four star but it didn’t happen. I just like the fact that they are not so expensive and can create something on the spot.
Although when I first walked in, one of the male workers was not that interested in what I had to say so he threw me over to the Latina worker who quickly gave me what I wanted and created something pretty darn fast.
