Instead of staying open until the time that they are supposed to be open they literally locked the door in our face as we were walking up to the restaurant. They also smiled and flicked us off as they were locking the door at least 15 minutes before they closed. So that’s was my experience with tortirices!

Food took over 90 minutes to arrive. Driver seemed clueless and handed me a box that was soaked through. I opened it to find the toppings had all slid off the pizza into the box, like it was held vertically, a total inedible mess. Called the store, a young lady answered and was giggling the whole time I explained the problem. Offered me store credit, I told her I’m not ordering from there again, I want my money back. Put on hold for about 8 minutes, then a third person gets on the phone who can’t be bothered to do more than mutter unintelligibly, makes me explain it all again, finally offers to have Grubhub return my money — which they did. None of these people apologized or seemed to care at all. The food sucked and everyone I talked to was an idiot. And after all that it was 2am, I had no food and was still starving. Try one of the zillion other pizza places in Chicago — DON’T order from here.

These guys are complete and total clowns. We placed an order 3 hours ago that was supposed to arrive in 45 – 55 minutes, according to the estimate when we placed it. That was changed to 2HOURS when the order went into production. Fine, the weather is rainy. 20 minutes after the order was supposed to have been delivered, because according to the app, it was out for delivery, we called, and were told it was out for delivery: 20 minutes after THAT, we called, were told that«something was messed up,» and that they would send it out. When we said no, cancel it, it’s 10:30, they hung up on us. Order at your own risk.

Excellent thin crust, though a bit too cheesy for my preference(gobs and gobs) Good tomato sauce tang and excellent sausage Chicago style. Huge plus is they offer slices. Not much ambience for eat in, but i I think it’s mainly for take out.

Excellent Italian beef. I get it dipped with peppers. The deluxe comes with crispy fries and very good cole slaw Fernando always gets my order right.

This is my favorite pizza place in the area. Maybe it’s because I live so close, but it’s so fast and easy to order from here! I’ve tried the pan and thin crust and both were great! Sauce and cheese are delicious and well portioned — yum!

Got delivery one night when I was feeling pizza — one 14″ thin crust, half pepperoni, half Tortorice’s Special. I also got an order of 12 hot wings. FOOD: The pizza was… pretty meh. The sausage and cheese was extremely salty. The pizza was also cut into squares(not a big deal, but a little off-putting). I was hoping it would be like traditional thin crust where you can fold it, and the crust is super crispy, but instead it was a little flat, and weighed down by too many greasy ingredients to hold its shape. The wings were good, normal wings. SERVICE: No problems here. The food came on time, and wasn’t missing anything. Overall, just not sure if this was worth the price paid, when I could honestly go to Papa John’s. Still searching for the right pizza place around here!

Kelly makes the cheese double dough pizzas here and may that always be the case. Chewy and delicious without being a salty oily mess. This was my first time in but you can bet I’ll be back.

I’ve been to Tortorice’s Pizza three times now, and every experience has been excellent. I didn’t have high initial expectations, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. The first two trips I got single slices of thick sliced pizza, and the most recent trip we ordered a thin crust pizza. The pizza is super cheesy and tastes fantastic. Seriously, give Tortorice’s Pizza a try — you wont be disappointed! This location is right next to my girlfriends apartment(super dangerous) so I’ll be back soon!

It’s a solid neighborhood pizza /fast Italian place. It reminds me of Jake’s Pizza or Sir Nick’s. The slices are pretty big and taste pretty good. Wish they have more variety than sausage but they’re definitely good. I had the pasta once before too. I was pretty drunk but I remember it was good. So that’s good.

The staff was kind, the food was excellent, and the prices were very much reasonable! Chicago Pizza is always characterized by Gino’s East or Giordano’s, but not enough people venture into the TRUE pizza makers of Chicago-style pizza. This is a must-try for tourists and residents alike! Definitely my favorite pizza hangout in the city!

The stuffed pizza was pretty good although a bit light on the stuffing(spinach and mushrooms). I love that they do slices! However, I was very excited to try the«homemade» italian beef. It was horrible. No flavor. Completely dr(not dipped or anything). Peppers are extra and so basically its just the dry beef on chewy bread. Incredibly disappointed with the italian beef. Would definitely try the other pizza styles as well.

So great to have a GOOD pizza place so close to home. Not fussy, not mediocre, no bizarre ingredients. Great sauce. They offer thin, and thick, and stuffed and this interesting unique format they all Picasso, which is like a combo of thin and stuffed. A little too rich for me, but my husband loves it. Their salads are fresh and crunch and not waterlogged, like some places that deliver. And they are very nice. When they mixed up one of our orders, they were quick to fix it and deliver a replacement. Try it! This address is carry out/delivery only… other than slices. No seating.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Tortorices for about a year now and I usually pick up my order at the Grand Ave location. When I found out about this new location, I was more than excited because my house is just right down the street. This is a carry-out/delivery restaurant so I had to take my food to go. Anyway, my pizza tasted as good as the one on Grand Ave and I know I will be back again when I’m in the mood for pizza.

Apparently they just launched their soft opening yesterday, but I couldn’t tell! The pizza was as amazing as always and they brought back the lost art of customer service. I’m a huge fan of the thin crust, but the deep dish is just as delicious. See you soon!
