I saw The Aurora Project from Otherworld Theater in this space last weekend. Right up front I’m going to mention that I’m a fan of intimate theater space and smaller productions. I don’t turn down tickets to Broadway in Chicago, but it’s exhilarating to literally sit on stage and this show gave everyone a front row seat. The actor corridors, action, esign, lighting, and sound worked well in the room. The space is on the fourth floor of one of those multi-use buildings that are common on Ravenswood, but it was easy to find. There is also a cool old elevator for those who are less inclined or unable to take the stairs. Pro tip: It did get a little cold by the end of the performance, but nothing long sleeves couldn’t handle. Enjoy the show!
