As the name implies they have sweets and desserts here. I think pretty much everything they sell is bakery/store bought, I don’t get the idea they make anything.(Some of the chocolates they were selling in boxes in the window still had the Costco Kirkland Signature label on them???) I’ve had their carrot cake, some cheesecake, and some of their chocolates. The carrot cake was good, cheesecake rich. not overly exciting. Way overpriced?(I think it was $ 6 or so a slice?). The chocolates are quite pricey too, I only got one when they were handing out samples one day when they first opened. I went back in one day to buy some but they wouldn’t give me a sample of one I was going to buy so I didn’t buy them. The kid helping was nice though. EDIT: CLOSEDAROUNDDEC07.

This place is in the Pedway: the underground, under-used maze of shops, office entryways and other oddities in downtown Chicago. If you’re on the corner of Randolph and Michigan, go down the stairs leading to the Millennium Station, which services Metra trains traveling to South Side and southern suburbs. On the way to the trains is the STC, and they have a whole range of cakes, pies, ice cream cakes, cheesecakes. I got a slice of the red velvet cake and the Southern Comfort cheesecake. Pretty good stuff, but very rich(if you like that sort of thing). They also have fine candies, but wouldn’t give me a sample. Aside from that small indiscretion, I recommend them to satisfy your sweet tooth.
