Subway

This place is not only unsanitary but the workers also mess up simple orders so it just took me 14 minutes at subway to create my sub. I said no sauces on it … The man started putting mayo and salt and vinegar on it as if he didn’t hear me. When I corrected him about his mistake politely he laughed at me. He was also wearing no gloves. Dear subway, please train your workers. I don’t like ro give bad reviews but people need to know that today is Thursday at 9pm and this shift of people suck. I do not appreciate being laughed at for my plain order.

The customer service poor and they don’t even speak English no cups for water and they changed me for other cup bad never will come back here. Dislike

Eaten here a few times because it took awhile to accept that the HAIR in my food and being OVERCHARGED were not just one time mistakes. This location exists to screw over tourists and those who can afford to not check their receipts.

After placing order? server referred to me as a WHORE to another emplyee, he then did not prepare my order as requested. I did nothing to provoke any of this.

No $ 5 foot longs here. No seafood sandwiches either. Only plus, it’s open 24 hours should you get hungry really late. Kinda surprised that the place is still in business because it’s never busy. Must have a long term lease.

Let’s keep it real with each other for once second. Subway is Subway.
The only difference between Subways is the amount of hand holding/​coaching you have to provide your sandwich «artist» (e.g. more pickles, more lettuce, etc.).
This Subway is particularly awesome because it is family run, and the service is like a 5 star restaurant.
You walk in and like 8 people say hello/​welcome.
The owner asks you how your meal is.
When you leave, those same 8 people say thank you.
I don’t know if it was the 12inch meatball sub in my stomach, or their hospitality, but I left feeling very warm.

Always out of stuff and the girls working here are obnoxious. Just screaming and giggling at each other. Hire some new people and stock food properly, you might make some more money.

I love Subway. This one is one is conveniently located just ½ block away from where I live. Service is normally pretty slow and lunch lines are long even when they have a lot of staff. Staff appears always a bit inexperience and you need to repeat your request. This is not unlike many other average locations.
What compelled me to write this review and earn a poor rating was today’s service. I learned that they are no longer serving water at this location which I believe is customer satisfaction 101. The cashier hinted at the motion the people would cheat and drink from the fountain instead and not conform to the honor system. I hate soda. Further, a location that implicitly mistrust me does not deserve my business. I’m sorry to say but I’ll take my business elsewhere. It’s too bad.

Absolutely cannot stand this subway. The food is fine but they’ve overcharged me twice. And when I pointed out that they changed me for a drink I didn’t order, they tried to throw a cup in my direction instead of a refund. That sort of interaction makes me feel like the overcharging is intentional. Never going back :(

It’s Subway, so it’s basically diarrhea between bread.
However… this place is open 24 hours. And in Streeterville, where there must be a law against late night food, that’s a godsend. I work overnights in the neighborhood, so my options are incredibly limited. Thankfully, Subway has my back.
If only Potbelly were open 24÷7…

I’m surprised I’ve only got one check in here. I mean I am here A LOT as it is right down the street from my apartment. This was the place where I discovered the falafel salad, which has become my staple at Subway. I’ve had it so much here that the owner knows what I want when I walk in, that is good business and thus the 4 stars.

Very clean subway location. Staff was attentive and friendly.

I think everyone will agree. The $ 5 foot long is still the chief oblong (not a sandwich). I frequent my subway and get he $ 5 F.L. Italian BMT, if its not on the menu, just ask and they will oblige.
Thats about it for Subway. Its a community staple and O yea, this one (mines) is ²⁴⁄₇. Do you got one of these in your hood. Located at McClurg Court & Grand/​Illinois (center of block).

It’s a subway. So you know what you are getting, fresh ingredients witg decent sandwiches. All that jazz. That aside the staff is always friendly and quick. I’ve looked at the other comments complaining about the service, but I have not had any problem in my 10 – 15 visits It is nice to have a fastfood option so close to where I live. Especially one that is open 24 hours. For those of us who work odd hours, this is a god send.

I came here around 11pm at night because my friend’s pad was across the street and I just flew in from LA. The people working there were all male Pakistanis and they were really rude. They leered at me and joked amongst themselves while watching me crudely. The Meatball sandwich was ok, they used gloves but refused to toast it for me. My friend told me it was the only place open close by late at night. Untrue, for the same price walk 2 mins away to Fox and Obel’s on the corner. They’re open til midnight and serve better food for the same price.

I totally echo Mister J’s review before mine — on service, cleanliness and friendliness.
I’d add, it also tastes fresher than some others and the place itself is more neat/​spacious with a few tables too. This Subway gives the chain a positive review.

This is a great Subway. As this is a chain the product is pretty much the same, but the staff here are very friendly and the store is clean. Honestly, it was surprising how nice the staff are here. I take a while to order as I like a lot of ingredients on my sandwich and they were smiling and easy-​going the whole time.
