Was just in the other day and I ordered a sandwich upon receiving it is asked for an unusual request (if they could cut it for me) I told if it’s not possible that’s fine I understand, guy gives me an ugly look and snatches the sandwich from my hand. I ignore this and wait for my sandwich, as I wait the next employee asked what he was doing and said I should ask for such a dumb request that they are pre-​made for a reason and if I wanted cut I should cut it myself. I’m standing less than three feet from her. All the employees back there start joking about it right in front of me as if I was oblivious and made me wait an extra 5min… I only stop in there because it’s right on campus I’ll stick to my regular starbucks from now on

I visited this location around 9:30 am on a Saturday. There were 5 employees behind the counter and only 2 actually helping customers. The cashier would get pulled away to make a tea or pour a drip coffee, and the other employees just ignored the line of customers. I finally placed my order after 15 minutes and I got my drink. I asked if my sandwich was ready and they forgot to put it in the warmer. This place was not customer friendly not run efficiently. They could be having an off morning. The location is large and a great place to hang out and work. But the service was bad.

I don’t understand how i can go to one starbucks, say the same exact thing as i do at every other location in the city, and get a completely watered down version of the same coffee i get correctly everywhere else. I literally threw it out.
Customer service is good, but how they make their coffee is quite opposite.

Literally just came from there on my lunch break and while I waited for my sandwich, two of the people behind the counter got into a screaming match, then continued the screaming match in the back room. All of the customers could hear them, it was very awkward. It was still going on as I left. I love Starbucks, but I certainly won’t be back to this particular one. On top of it all, they ended up giving me the wrong sandwich, too.

Use to be a cool and spacious place to get some coffee and Wi-​Fi. DePaul University atmosphere makes you feel young. Service is quick and friendly.
However, the internet has been up and down all month.
Not just a day or two… ALL MONTH!

This Starbucks is by far one of the best locations. No matter what type of line they have they are always fast with service and in a great mood which for me pre-​coffee is always a plus. I have gone out of my way to skip two other locations on my way to work just to come to this one and have never been disappointed.

I could tell things were not going well this morning for the employees at this location. The restaurant was also crowded and noisy. Despite the aforementioned issues, they took good care of me and were super polite. This really makes a difference.

The biggest advantage of this place is that it’s got a lot of tables close to electric outlets. This way you don’t have to hunt for outlets if your laptop runs out of juice. I have been here many times and I have done a lot of my homework here. It’s never too busy and you can usually always find a seat.

Warning! Real horrible service by one of the employees at this Starbucks. About 6’2″ and 280 lbs. Bald, light skinned, blonde haired white guy with dark frame eyeglasses and a wannabe goatee. Look Shrek, because you’ve got to get up early in the morning to work your job doesn’t mean you gotta be a horses ass to people.

I kind of struggle with this one as I first and foremost, can’t stand going to this store. But, as they say, location, location, location and it is right next to my el stop so be it as it may I go. This place is not your standard Starbucks level of service, they are nice but not overtly attentive like at other stores I frequent. Today I went in and was told that they were out of Soy milk (I cannot drink milk), of course my reply was «isn’t this a grocery store, there is some right upstairs». Begrudgingly she went to get some while on the way telling her co-​worker that «she would not be getting angry today». Really? Because I requested an item that was in the building but not at her immediate reach? Or maybe it made her really angry that I in fact was made by God to be lactose intolerant. Anyway, she ended up making my coffee with NO COFFEE. I will NOT be going back.
