You must have to be the most ignorant, low class, no customer service having individual to work here. I have this place 2 stars because the food is pretty good however, the customer service is horrible. I am a customer service driven individual and they don’t meet standards. When you walk in the lady in the front taking orders always looks like she hates being there. I ordered chicken today and was criticized for asking for more lemon pepper. Really!!! Surely minimum wage does not qualify you to be a doctor or food critic!!! As the ghetto lady sprinkled more lemon pepper on my wings. *thump* «diabetes» *thump* «there goes high blood pressure« I was shocked! O.k. Let’s be clear, if you are ordering fried chicken, healthy eating is the last thing on your mind. I will not be patronizing this location again! They can change the name as many times as they think they need to. They will continue to have problems until they find quality staff

Food is good, Jumbo shrimp & lemon pepper chicken are delicious, but the cashier here is ghetto, rude, & has no skill for any kind of service. Fortunately it’s a fast food spot & my expectations aren’t that high.

I normally don’t eat Shark’s; the standard blue glare is unappetizing, not to mention that my prior experiences with {other Shark’s locations} have been generally disappointing. So the only reason I tried this one was that my wife had bought some chicken there for a party, unbeknownst to me. Wow, I was amazed. The chicken was fresh, cooked perfectly thoroughly and had the just right(read: minimal) amount of oil to the batter and meat. But I was still not willing to go for the fish based on previous experiences(I’ve seen the kitchen… again, at other locations). However, my wife insisted. Second time: «Wow, I was amazed». The catfish nuggets were fried to perfection, the portions were astoundingly generous, and even the fries and white bread were tasty! I’ll be back again. And I’d suggest you check ‘em out! Also, as an aside, the lobby is very clean and it’s pleasant that the staff isn’t behind bullet-resistant glass!

I used to treat myself on Fridays after a hard work week to some greasy spoon eats. I had stopped because I am constantly being drilled by my Doctor to loose some weight. But this past Friday, I threw caution to the wind and stoped at Sharks for 4 wings(instead of my usual 6). I guess they did me a favor because, I was do disappointed I started to take them back. I have never in my life seen chicken wings that tiny, it was ridiculous, 4 wings equaled maybe one and a half wings. So never again, Harolds is up the street, they give you bread and coleslaw, at Sharks you get just chicken and fries. For the best wings, try the Wings on 83rd& Halsted, southeast corner!

Wish I could give 2 ½ stars… Dropped in on a busy friday night without phoning ahead. Ordered a small catfish dinner. I waited for about 20 mins. I am not complaining about that but the clientele were something else. I felt sorry for the employees that have to put up with them. It came with your standard fare of fries and two pieces of white bread. The four pieces of catfish looked very generous when I opened the box. First I noticed that they left all the bones in. I was disappointed but then I figured what the hell, there’s four good size pieces of catfish. The quality was very good and tasted very good for the first two pieces. The last two pieces were essentially useless. It really did seem like they battered up and fried the tail. There was no usable meat on them. The place was very clean though. You can tell the care about appearance. Kudos for that. So for the circumstances I had with them I would give them 2 ½ stars. Even though the pieces that had meat on them were pretty darn good. I cant forget about the other HALF of my meal. Maybe one day I will try them again. I ill try another type of fish or maybe the chicken. And definitely phone ahead on the weekends. It would be an advantage.

They cook pretty good here, for fast food. I usually get the catfish and the fried oysters… uh… when I’m not on a diet. lol
