Potbelly Sandwich Shop

I’ve been here twice only because it’s in my neighborhood. Both times have been disappointments because both times they messed up my sandwiches. Hopefully they get it together!

I love Potbelly and their sandwiches, but this is the absolute worst location ever. First off, they’re always out of the soup of the day. No matter what time you come, there’s no soup. 2. It’s really dirty. It seems as though the employees don’t care to clean. There were chips and napkins and crumbs all over the floor and trays on the tables. 3. There was no toilet paper or paper towels in the woman’s restroom. 3. This particular time I visited, they completely messed up my sandwich order. They gave me a new sandwich, and still messed it up. At this point I was too frustrated to even try to get it fixed. Very disappointing.

I ordered a salad without chicken for delivery and received a salad with chicken. Unfortunately, chicken completely disgusts me during pregnancy and well, I was pretty hungry and kind of sad to have a chicken filled salad. I called and the assistant manager was completely understanding. She came and dropped off a chicken-​less salad super fast! She handled the mixup flawlessly! I was impressed and will gladly order from there again!

Update from below: Though the situation below was frustrating, they refunded our money and gave us a free meal. The food was good.
We ordered food at 5:15 pm. It’s currently 9:40, and we still have not received the food. No one will answer the phone.

I love Potbelly’s and the food is always fresh. I find the baked fresh cookies are amazing. The staff is friendly and accomodate customers very well. The only downside to this location is the lack of parking. The parking lot is shared with Starbucks and another business yet to open and there is never any parking available.

This is by far the worst potbelly I have been to. It took 11 minutes to receive my sandwich and shake. There were only two people in front of me and their sandwiches were already made by the time I ordered mine. The tall skinny gentleman that made my sandwich was great and smiled the whole time, but then the short girl on the line making sandwiches had no respect for customers and seems to not care about her job. She was talking to another worker who had just clocked out and continually touching her face with her gloves on; meanwhile the customers in front of me are waiting to pay… And no one is helping them. I told the girl that I wasn’t with them and that they needed to pay and she said «ok I’m not on cash». Excuse me, some of us aren’t being paid to stand around and instead are just trying to buy a sandwich before going back to work and in a timely manner. Then this girl called back so rudely to another employee who was on her break so she can ring everyone up.
Now I no not everyone is trained on cashier, fine, but management needs to make sure more than one person is trained on the register. The short girl needs to check her attitude and work ethic at the door. I was fairly certain her eyes were going to be stuck facing the back of her eye socket because of the amount of times she rolled her eyes.
This potbelly will make money because it’s by Lane and maybe high schoolers don’t care about customer service but this is the kind of stuff that hurts businesses during summer when the clientele changes, school is on break and service still stinks.

Tried it twice and it’s by far one of the worst locations I’ve been to. They are SUPER SLOW/​Sandwiches are not dressed correctly– DRY!
