Just did drive-thru, so rude, no greeting, no eye contact, tone was annoyed. I wasn’t looking for spectacular service just the minimal. I hardly ever eat Popeyes and perhaps this is the push I needed to stop.

This is the WORST service I have ever gotten at a fast food place. Three cars behind us in the drive thru got their food before us. I had to get out of our our car to get our food. I will never go back. The employees are beyond incompetent and down right stupid. Never again. Worst costumer service I have ever experienced. I cannot emphasize enough how awful this was. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Guys, seriously… it’s a chain fast food fried chicken joint. Better chicken than KFC. Reasonably clean. Good coupons available online. Nice option for a large bbq or kids’ party(what we did for our last family party). Service was perfectly adequate.

Spent 38 $ there checked my order(all except for making sure the biscuits were in with the chicken) I get all the way home… no biscuits. I called and the so called manager was like come back and I’ll give you a dozen. Wth am I gonna do with a dozen? All I wanted was the 6 it was supposed to have. Drove all the way back there and they acted all nonchalant about it. On top of that when I first was there had to wait in the drive thru for 5 min for chicken… a chicken restaurant that doesn’t have chicken ready? Yea… I don’t think I’ll be going back. Customer service is horrible and their food is way overpriced.

While the device inside isn’t bad the drive thru is terrible. Wait time is usually long and ordering is annoying. I wanted tenders which come with a sauce of my choosing but wasn’t asked which I wanted and instead given the bag with BBQ sauce instead. Like if it’s my choosing why wouldn’t you ask? I’ve had bad experiences before here and this is the last straw. I’ll stick with Harolds chicken.

Every time I go here these people always manage to get my order wrong. They always have an attitude and when you ask to speak to the manager they(the manager) are even worser. They need a whole new staff if you ask me.

I love that chicken from Popeye’s, lolbvs, but EVERY time I’ve eaten from here I always end up with an upset stomach and diarrhea… Me and my husband thought it was because it was fried food and we’ve been cutting back on it, but that’s definitely not the case… After giving them another try after one or twice, without fail we were sick again. I didn’t even care to call and complain, I just know that they’ll never get another red cent of ours… Something’s definitely wrong in that kitchen, smh! I wish I could’ve given them a half star…

I had some dirty rice from this particular Popeyes and got very sick. Stomach cramps and diarrhea. I called and talked to the supervisor and he said he was very sorry and would look into it. But… He will never ever see me back in his store !!!

Everytime I go in this particular Popeye’s I know I’m about to play this game we always play. «I would like a coke please.» «Lemonade?» “Coke please.” «OK,» they say, getting my hopes up. I always get a lemonade. «I would like ranch please,» I would say next time. When I walk home and look in my bag, it’s like my whole world has fallen apart. I have chicken without ranch??? And a… a… LEMONADE??? Thanks for givin’ me first world problems, Popeyes. I bet your bathroom is great, though.

I’ve been at this location several times and out of all the Popeye’s in Chicago this is one of the best. It does not matter which chicken you choose spicy or mild both of them are delicious. The place is always clean and well manage

Popeye’s is one of my favorite fast food chains so I go here about once a month. They are generally friendly but often forget or screw up something. Missing hot sauce, chicken is cold, no spoon for my red beans and rice, etc, etc…

I hate how convenient this location is. The staff is beyond rude and this includes the manager. I get it, you don’t like your job. What i don’t get is why do you feel the need to give me an attitude when I am just trying to get chicken!

Oh God, I’m actually reviewing a PopEyes… but it is necessary after being poisoned a couple of times. I’ve gotten food poisoning TWICE from this location. The staff is always EXTREMELYRUDE. I hate them. I hate this place. Never letting my boyfriend convince me to eat here again. Please close down, or cook your food right. Also, fire all of the sassy, rude, bonquiqui-ish Puertorican hoodrats. Thanks.

This place is a no-no. I was disappointed with this joint because I’ve experienced way better and I din think anything could go wrong, but it did. I was craving for fried chicken so bad one Sunday morning and decided to drive-thru this place. I wanted less than 8 pc chicken assuming it might be too many for just 2 people and they told me I could go for the 5 pc instead. On the side, we ordered the coleslaw. The total for the 5 pc chicken and coleslaw came up to $ 10.55+. First thought, quite reasonable. Then we drove off eagerly looking forward to a good meal. But 10 minutes later on the highway, we opened it in the car and was shocked to see just 1 big chicken breast, 1 mid size chicken wing and 3 premature sizes of other parts. I mean it when I said premature, it was like half the size of my palm. To make matters worst, the coleslaw was completely soaked in its dressing. It tasted too sour and soggy. A complete disastrous meal and not worth the price at all. Next time, it’s gonna be Lee’s Chicken or Church’s chicken for me.

Crawfish at a fast food restaurant. It was good too! Hit the spot after a long flight and rental car checkout process. Got off the freeway and saw this place, clean, fast service and definitely hit the spot! Good chow.

They gave me a rancid piece of corn on the cob. Really it was beyond rotten. Some sorta new alcohol was fermenting in that lil’ yellow plastic bag those things come in! It smelled terrible. My bad I thought it was maybe the bag so I took a bite… yah, gag! Recollecting it is making me sick to my stomach… it was way gross. I would suggest finding a different Popeye’s location. This one stinks… like rotten corn on the cob!

I can’t believe I am admitting that I eat here. Sort of disgusting, sort of delicious, and irresistable when starting an all-nighter. The last two times I’ve gone here, though, they have been«cleaning» the seating area(or as the manager says doing«stuff» –who knows what, no sign of cleaning) so they have specifically told me to leave the seating area and order through the takeout window. While I’m on foot. While the lobby doors are open. Where the cars are. Yes, they would not actually take my order inside for take out, even though it would have taken 5 seconds. I know they close the seating area at 11 for safety reasons, but this seems to happen before 11 at the manager’s whim for no good reason. I don’t care if they close the lobby, but not taking my order from inside(when I’m already there) is ludicrous. I’d like to say I’ll never eat here again, but who knows how long I will hold out against the hypnotic power of their greasy chicken, fatty biscuits, and industrial gravy. Oh, and –100 points for no longer having unsweet tea.

The restaurant was nice, clean, quaint. The service was really nice and friendly. Everything was quick. Exactly what a fast food restaurant should be. The food was actually better than I thought it would be. I haven’t been to a Popeye’s since I was a kid, so I was kind of expecting KFC-esque crap. However, my boyfriend and I both ordered the chicken fingers meals and they were actually good! The food at Popeye’s is more expensive than other fast-food chicken restaurant, so I think that speaks to the quality of the food. The mashed potatoes were delish and so was my biscuit. The entire meal was probably 4,000 calories but it was totally yummy. I wouldn’t go back often, but I wouldn’t write it off my list.

Every once in awhile I crave fried chicken, not often, but it happens. I love my spice so Popeye’s is where I go. But, I couldn’t have been more disappointed than when I went to this location. All I wanted was two pieces of chicken and a biscuit. Was that possible? Nope. They ran out of biscuits which meant they offered me a side. I didn’t want a side though… I wanted that fatty and flaky biscuits. Needless to say, I left Popeye’s without my craving being satisfied.

One thing I hate about Unilocal. If you look for certain neighborhoods, like Logan Square, certain restaurants don’t show up, because they are across the street. Like Popeye’s. But, that’s a minor issue, and I still love Unilocal :) As my roommate always says, «Love that chicken from Popeye’s.» I live about a block away from this location and I don’t know if we’ve gotten lucky but every time the chicken is pretty amazing. I mean it’s hot and moist and just damn good fast food chicken. The only downside is they don’t let you walk up to the drive thru. We had to hit up IHOP next door one time because we decided to walk and we just missed close by a couple minutes. If you are in the mood for some cheap quick chicken, check it out.
