Peet’s Coffee & Tea is a nice choice for a coffee shop. I only had traditional cappuccino and croissant. satisfying breakfast for me… good food-​good tasting!!! good service too!!! have a good day!!!

Wanted something hot to drink/​hold in my hands as I walked back home from the art museum. Happened to come across this coffee shop. They have a small selection of baked goods to choose from along with your usual selection of caffeinated drinks. Would reccommend the lemon poppy seed bread; make sure to ask for it to be warmed up.
Not much seating if you want to come here for work; about 10 tables in total lining the windows. They do have bathrooms. Seems that most businesses along Michigan avenue don’t have bathrooms for public use so this is a nice stop if needed.
Overall, you’re average run of the mill coffee shop.
What Was Ordered:
Hot Cocoa — made with milk, not chocolaty enough for my taste
Lemon Poppy Seed Bread — really good warmed up, would get again

Peet’s is generally a solid bet for some good coffee. I actually went with a Vanilla Iced Chai today, and it was excellent. This is also a great space to get some work done, and the staff is very friendly.

Peet’s Coffee is nice. It’s typical to every other coffee place. The prices are average, the staff is nice enough. There is nothing to special on the food or drink menu. Wifi is there, plug ins, chairs, tables… Not much more to say…

For a chain the coffee is impressive. I wouldn’t place it at the very top but they give some local shops a solid run for their money and definitely top the other chains. It’s coffee, dot ask too much from it and you’ll be just fine with what you get.

I stopped for a tea after a conference and the place is nice. They have honey available in at the little counter. The options for tea are much better than other coffee shops. The staff was friendly and service was quick.
Great place to hang out and have some coffee and snacks.

I walked past this place and noticed the advertisement for a breakfast sandwich that looked amazing. Walked in there this AM and ordered this sandwich. The employee who served me was friendly and all smiles… definite bonus in my book. I was surprised to find out that this was not a freshly made sandwich. I watched as they took a frozen pre-​made sandwich out of some plastic wrap and popped it into the oven as if it were a TV dinner. I was a bit skeptical and was getting myself prepared for some severe disappointment. The cashier was not nearly as friendly as one would like, but she got the job done. She billed me and gave me the proper change. Now onto this sandwich. I ordered the Bacon and Cheddar. My first bite was amazing. It was as if they had made it fresh. Thanks for an meal!

Stopped in here a couple of days in a row.
Nice clean, friendly place with good service.
It was hot out and I ordered iced latte which was just excellent. So refreshing. I liked this place a lot. I came back the next day and had the same exact experience. I love consistency.
If you are in the area it is definitely worth checking out.

Great place to go to if you’re staying or attending a conference at the Hilton Chicago (or anywhere nearby), which is what I was doing. It was a large conference and everybody would rush to the nearest Starbucks or Dunkin’ also on Michigan Ave., but the best kept secret is this place! There was never an unreasonably long line and Peet’s across the board is reliable at their multiple locations.
I had what I was going to order but saw a little sign for something new and asked the cashier about it. She said it was one of her favorites and it really was delicious. [“Black Tie” = coffee with sweetened condensed milk]
The staff was friendly and efficient and I also appreciated how they have a sign with the staff picks. I usually ordered from that and I was never disappointed.
Inside was clean and they also have outside seating.

Beautiful Peet’s location. I believe it’s an old Caribou Coffee that they purchased. Purchased zucchini bread and a large mocha with skim milk. Drink was served promptly and the bread was pretty good!
Will come back here when I return to this neighborhood for sure! The store was bright, open and welcoming. They do have outdoor seating as well.

Probably some of the worst coffee I have ever had. I have really wanted to try Peet’s for quite some time. I ordered the soy milk latte. It was awful. The espresso tasted burnt. I wanted a croissant and discovered that it could not be warmed. Not very impressive. A small portion of fruit was $ 5. It had no more than 8 SMALL chunks of fruit.
I don’t plan to repeat my visit.

About every other day the coffee is water here. They’re not doing something right. I think it’s the terrible brew machines they at these locations they took over from Caribou.
The barista just brewed another batch and it’s still water!

Really nice baristas and good coffee. Love the various flavors and specials they run.
If you aren’t sure what to get the baristas favorite and those are usually really good.
The only problem is that sometimes seating can be an issue when busy but other than that no problems. I much rather this location than the starbucks on roosevelt.

I love Peet’s Coffee. This time, we had a Croissant along with our daily drink. The Croissant was not fresh. Of course, if I wanted a fresh Croissant I should have gone to a Patisserie. Strike one star for the food. Still great coffee.

Ordered a M Pumpkin Spice Latte and OMG it was sooo good! Also I noticed that they carry almond milk, how great!!! I also had the morning rise muffin. Seriously best coffee shop carrot walnut baked goodie I’ve had in awhile. Will definitely be back. :)
