Love this location, plenty of parking, plenty of seating. However, the service continues to be sub par even when the restaurant is mostly empty. I have now waited over 30 min for a 2 bowl to-go order. Over 10 other people waiting for the food. Next time, I’ll go next door to Chipotle if I need a quick lunch. Not really sure why this seems to happen often at this location…

Went here Friday to pick up meals with my friend who just had surgery. The young woman working there(Laura? Kelly? I asked her what her name was and forgot)) was so friendly and helpful and provided us with incredible customer service. She told us about everything on the menu, which items worked best with the gluten free noodles, how the tofu was prepared, and was incredibly patient with us. The food was yummy(Bangkok Noodles with vegetables). It is incredibly refreshing to get such wonderful customer service when so few people seem to care anymore.

They give you a lot for what you pay for and the food was excellent! They also have one of those awesome soda machines where you can add flavors and such. Customer service was good, not great-not terrible, and the restaurant was very clean.

I wanted Palace Grill, my friend wanted Golden Nugget. I wanted a good meal, she wanted breakfast. Somehow, we ended up here. Every employee was rude. Almost every table was dirty(as in, bowls were left sitting for 30+ minutes) and the food was just, meh, as there was no flavor. Next door was my favorite Chipotle, and I was a little ticked at my friend for choosing this place when I could have had a burrito bowl for the same price. I don’t get the hype about this chain.

This is very close to my house and school. An avid Noodles and Company goer(not a word), this might be the most attentive(service-wise) Noodles I’ve ever been to. The staff is always pleasant and very timely. If you haven’t been to a Noodles and Company before, the different noodle dishes are consistent and you are bound to find a certain dish combination that pleases you. They have different dish styles from all over the world(Americanized, but still.) They also serve wine and beer. It is very reasonably priced considered they bring it out to you and you don’t have to clean up after yourself. Bonus: They have that fun pop machine with over 100 choices. Good for kids, adults, groups, and casual food settings.

I love Noodles! The Indonesian Peanut Sauté is my fav, and the potstickers are good too. They also have one of those awesome coke machines with a million different flavor combinations. Quick and professional service.

Found ourselves near Lincoln Park recently and decided to search for a Noodles & Co because my wife loves eating there so much. And I have no complaints as a new customer. My choice was an Asian pasta dish called Pad Thai. I’m sure you are familiar with the ingredients but I have to give this breakdown: — rice noodle stir-fry, hot temperature, perfect texture, served as the foundation(on the bottom) of my bowl — scrambled egg, personally I enjoy getting a bite of egg in my fork loaded with noodles, lots of egg chunks to select throughout the dish — carrots, these were cut in 1″ to 2″ sticks or shorter, they were not overcooked — cabbage, crunchy and tasty addition, love those curvaceous and skinny strips to fill in the top layer of the bowl — sweet chile, even though I expect this to show up it always hits me as an unexpected but welcome flavor — citrus, oh yes, in my bowl I had two lemon wedges, squeeze the juice as little or as much as you desire — peanuts, mandatory not just for the crunch but because it provides such a rich mouthful, my preference is to have more peanuts in the mixture — Asian sprouts, crisp and hollow tubes, light and refreshing paired with the cabbage — cilantro, excellent seasoning Big fan of Noodle & Co. Highly recommended. I’m going to seek out the other locations around metro Chicago, and be adventurous with their menu.

The noodles were tasty and the place is very clean. I had the Japanese Pan Noodles which had all my favorite veggies, but it looked like the chicken breast had taken quite a beating. What I mean by this is that the chicken looked like it had been though several processes before it was on my plate. I don’t believe that it was processed, but you could tell that the idea was to squeeze every last cent out of the breast and bird that originally housed my chicken. I’m not sure how it was cooked, but if I had to guess, I would say it was boiled. I thought it was a nice touch to use black sesame seeds, but what is the deal with always giving me a fork? If I was a total mutant, unable to manipulate a pair of chop sticks, then I would ask for a fork or eat with my hands. One other minor knock would be that they don’t have chili paste. How are you going to eat Pad Thai without any damn chili paste? The service was good and the food came quickly, but I thought the price was a little steep for a bowl of noodles.

I do not understand how a different location of the same chain restaurant prepare their food differently. I have eaten at this location three times and LOVED the food. I ate the same dishes at the location near my home in River Forest and the food did not taste the same. For example, the Indonesian peanut noodle bowl in River Forest was bland, but the Clybourn location was flavorful. Something mighty funny is going on… River Forest Noodles & Co is shady, just shady. Okay, how do you get much better than a place that specializes in NOODLES?! One of my favorite food groups:) This place is great, love the Mac N Cheese, Mushroom Stroganoff, Pad Thai. The funny thing is, this place is jam packed with kids most of the time and there are noodles everywhere, haha. But I don’t mind. Great place for a quick meal when you are sick of the usuals!

This was my first time visiting N&C but I have hear good things about it in the past. However, I was not really impressed with the menu and the food was okay. I got the Pad Thai and my boyfriend got The Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine both with chicken. Mine was okay nothing special I needed to add some chilli sauce to give it some more flavor since it was pretty bland. Also the chicken on mine was way to peppery. I tried and did not like the linguine the flavor was way to overpowering and my boyfriend said it really upset his stomach after eating it. The staff was nice and the place looked clean. However, the glasses we were given looked rather old and dirty looking.

I’ve been to N&C exactly one time so the possibility that my rating has been formed in haste does exists. But! I like this place. I like that I can go to a fast food restaurant and eat with real silverware from real«china». I especially liked that my spicy peanut noodles were in fact spicy. And I LOVE that they offer tofu(!). Also, the staff is friendly. Gilt could take some pointers.

Just about your stantard Noodles & Co spot. I do love that this place has a parking lot. It makes for an easy lunch spot when I’m tired of everything around 600 W Chicago. The only downfall? CHIPOTLEISNEXTDOOR! How am I supposed to choose noodles over that?!

I love this place even though it is a chain restaurant. I think I like everything on their menu. But, why? Well first they are fast, second it is fresh, three I love pasta, four they add the extras that I like(peanuts, lime, and bean sprouts). The price is excellent and they are consistent. This is my favorite location because it has free parking at the front door unlike their other city locations and I’m always at Sprint.

Noodles & Company has recently become one of my new favorite places to grab lunch, either alone or with company. I was excited to see this particular location opening up, because I volunteer nearby and it gives me another choice when choosing lunch on the days when I’m volunteering. I do have to admit that pasta is one of my favorite foods, so what better place for me to eat than a place that service basically nothing but pasta?(They have apparently begun serving sandwiches now, but I’m refusing to even look in their direction — why turn away from what I already know and love, that’s the American way, right?) As with some other similar upper-crust«fast food» restaurants(like Chipotle or Qdoba), I find that the pricing is a little more than I would expect, but that certainly doesn’t keep me from going there frequently. Their Mac ‘n Cheese with Parmesan Chicken is perfection!

Word on the street is that Noodles & Company is opening a North Clybourn location. The source is a respectable one who’s always«in the know» about these things. I can confirm it’s true! I stopped in tonight after work for a soft opening. I frequent the Lakeview location and, as a loyal customer, I was able to get on «the list» to check out the new location. Once the bouncer(aka list-checker) let me in I stopped up at the counter to place my order. 99% of the time I end up getting the Wisconsin Mac n’ Cheese with meatballs and a flatbread, but since this time was on the house, I figured, «What the Hell, let’s go with the cavatappi!» (Of course, I ordered it without mushrooms, since I am not THAT crazy) The girl offered to let me substitute another vegetable in place of the mushrooms and suggested broccoli. I obliged and added it in. Since it’s midterms week I wanted to get back on the road as quick as possible, so I took my order to go and nommed it at home. Delicious. Of course. Though I’ll admit I’m still partial to the mac n’ cheese ;) But what I love about this restaurant chain? Consistency. The food has just enough variation to make it unique and tastes good every time. The staff is always friendly and look like they enjoy where they work. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. They seem to work together as a team, too, and, from a process view, there really aren’t any bottlenecks after ordering. AND… the seating is spread out enough so you’re not right on top of everyone. I think this restaurant is going to be a perfect addition to this strip of Clybourn. P. S.FINE. I admit it. I was excited to write this review since I haven’t had a «first» in a while(and hopefully, by the time I am done writing this review, it’ll still be a first — at least I type 100wpm +), but I like to give props to places that are all-around enjoyable and serve up good food!
