Logan Square Affiliated Physicians

Went to Pundi, he ordered a variety of ridiculous tests that I feel were unneccessary, as well as asking me to return every couple days to get results, and then of course only some of the results would conveniently not be in so I’d have to go back again a couple days later, so he got a nice office visit fee for each time. Each time I went I had to wait at least an hour beyond my appointment time — what is the point of an appointment? Do they think nobody else has a job they have to get to? Overall, a very bad experience, I am NOT going back to this doctor or facility. I looked at what they billed my insurance and now I see how they operate — at maximum profit!

The location of this office is definitely a bonus. It’s literally two blocks from my place. Also, it takes my health insurance and my visit was entirely free. (Being new to health insurance — after not having it for 5 years, this is somewhat of a novelty to me.)
(I do realize these are purely subjective factors in my rating system)
That being said, although everything is clean the office looks a little old and haggard. It’s certainly not a state of the art facility but everything functions and is good enough for me. The staff was super nice and the wait wasn’t too bad.
Dr Pundy was thorough and friendly. He really made me feel at ease, which, to me, is super important. They took some blood tests and explained all possibilities for my case. I call back tomorrow to get the tests.
I only hope I don’t have to go back anytime soon, but the next time i’m feeling ill i would choose this office again.
