The staff was friendly, easy to just walk in and get a cut, and got a decent cut by the barber(can’t remember his name). If you are looking for a salon for men where you get pampered and spend an stupid amount on a decent cut this is the place. I am use to an actual barbershop but Chicago Barbershop was fully booked and I needed a last minute cut, regretfully I just spent over double on a haircut that looks fine but not nearly as high caliber as what Mike at Chicago Barbershop gives me. $ 45 is absurd when every other barbershop(i.e Joe’s, Belmont, Chicago) all charge 20, sure they don’t wash my hair but they do take a straight razor to my neck something Art did not.

This was my first chicago barbershop experience since moving here recently. I needed to look sharp for my wedding and Mike Booze definitely did the trick! He worked with me every step of the way to make my cut clean. The price is on the higher end, $ 45, but definitely worth it! I will definitely return for my cutting needs!

Great place located in Logan Square. The crew is friendly and accommodating. If you need a haircut, beard trim or a quick shave this is the place to go to. Call ahead during busy days and if you get there early check out a new Vice magazine and enjoy a cold drink while you wait.

Great spot. The haircutter made me feel comfortable as it was first time there. She gave me a good discussion on my wants before she started her artistry!

Brought my bf here for his second haircut by William — who’s now twice made my man’s hair wicked sexy. Very retro-chic barbershop vibe and the stylists are so talented with their shears and clippers. If we still lived in the city my man would definitely be a regular.

Noticed this spot had opened up a few weeks ago. The windows out front had black & white pictures of manly men with intimidating beards. I decided to stop in today for a beard trim. I am new to ‘beard scene’ and I had a lot of questions. Mike, I think that was his name, answered all my questions and gave me gentle suggestions as to what could actually be done with my beard. He trimmed me and asked what I thought throughout the process and generally gave me a great 1st customer experience. This visit was pretty much exactly what I’d imagined before stepping foot in the shop. I wanted a knowledgeable, professional staff who takes pride in what they do and care deeply about their clients. Great job, Art & Science! I will definitely return.
