Lincoln Park Med Spa

I’ve been pretty disapppointed with the results of my laser hair removal — I understand that it doesn’t work well for all people, but they even gave me a couple extra sessions to see if that would help (for which they get an extra star).
There’s a weird vibe to this place though — there’s a lot of turnover in staff, and it makes me wonder what’s going on. Also, I rarely see other people in for appointments in the last few months which makes me question what’s going on. It was much busier when I first started going there.
UPDATE 6÷7÷08: I received a call this week that Lincoln Park Med Spa has been taken over by a different company. While I’m not interested in going back for anything else, maybe the new ownership will improve things.

I scheduled an appointment here, and found the woman to be very abrupt. I have never gotten a laser hair removal procedure done before. I get there and she knows I am nervous and she is about to do the procedure, but she goes ahead and does it and sees me cringing. It feels like rubberbands hitting against your skin. After she does one side she figures that if she shaves it will make it less painful. She also mentions that we could have put numbing cream on there a half an hour before. Why didn’t she tell me this prior to the appointment?! She says that the procedure is great for ingrown hairs. Something made me question her. I don’t even think she was a doctor or anything since she was also the person at the reception desk taking my paperwork. She also tried to sell me on a special so that I would come back again. I wanted to wait on the results, but she didn’t really do much for me to see a difference. I was told by her that it takes about 6 – 7 procedures for it to be about 70% clear. I have admit that I’m disappointed and was hoping to see some type of positive result. I’m actually going to go to another place to see if there’s a difference.
