Very good place. Probably a 3.5 but I don’t have that option.

Ordered 3 garbage salads and a bowl of chili for delivery. 2 hours later I get a call saying the delivery won’t be here for at least another hour so I cancel the order and order from Dino’s about the same distance away. 15 minutes after I placed the order with Dino’s our food arrived nice and fresh… And the La coco’s delivery walks up right behind them. I informed the delivery driver that I canceled the order because it took forever and he called the restaurant and had me speak with an individual that told me it’s not a big deal if the delivery got there late and if the chili is cold you can just throw it microwave… Is she serious??! I refused the delivery and will never be ordering from this place again. They’re consistently late on deliveries and the way they do business is BAD for business.

Bad service over the phone … they give you attitude if you tell them they did your order wrong … and tell you to waste your time bringing it back or that its your fault you dont speak clearly … constantly got our order wrong and the pizzas are never fully cooked I guess they are in a rush but they take forever to deliver anyway …

I loveLaCoco’s and don’t mind the merge with MADD Anthony’s. The music can be loud sometimes and the bar patrons are sure interesting, but overall a good experience. I come here for the deep dish pizza when I do swing through the neighborhood. There’s something about it that’s SO much better than chains, and we all know that we don’t really eat THAT much deep dish in one year. When I do crave it, I’ll always call LaCoco’s.

La Cocos is your traditional pizza place.
I order from her often because it’s close to home.
When picking up the order is always on time however delivery does take longer than expected.
The calzones are delicious! And I love the mad fries (without the chili).
The Italian ice is a must have!
They are all delicious but nothing is better than the traditional lemon.

is a love and hate relationship with la cocos, one day they i have such great service and fast pizza and other days i have horrible service and a long wait for pizza. staff is great (sometimes) and the alcohol selection is good. specials are good but i think they need more beer specials (drinking= more people eating) hint*

Unfortunately, my experience was bad. The server took 20 minutes to come to our table (the place was empty) and got our order wrong twice. We stayed pretty calm throughout but kept going up to the bartender to ask about our order. We later learned that the server was new and still getting a hang of things.
While they were very accommodating about correcting each error, and this was likely an isolated situation, I stand by my rating for two reasons:
1) I ordered sweet heat chicken tenders and they brought me inferno. When I mentioned the error, the server left and brought back the same tenders disguised as sweet heat. I bit into them and my mouth went numb instantly. Not ok.
2) The server never wrote down our order. This all could have been avoided if she had written it down.
The bartender saved our dinner. We could have left right after the food fiasco but we stayed after she apologized profusely and brought us a round of drinks and fries to tame the heat we’d just endured.

Horrible customer service. I usually try to have patience with people since I work in customer service but this place has literally the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Most places will try and work with you especially if it was a mistake/​problem on their end but this place did not even apologize or say let me make this right or anything. More like oh well attitude towards their customer. Last time I try to order from this shit hole. Avoid this place it has bad service and over priced food. Food is alright but it’s not even worth the bad service you receive.

Placed an order for my sons b’day, Celia took the phone order and all smooth and easy. Its the official pizza at our kids school BCA and they seem to like it very much.

I’ve never eaten at the establishment, so I can only speak to their pizza delivery, and it’s probably one of the best experiences I’ve had with pizza in Chicago. Great thin crust. Lots of cheese. The sauce has a good citrus bite. All the toppings are exceptional. My order has always been correct, and they’re pretty fast.
Very important to note, they probably have one of the best values as well. On weekdays, you can get a family size pizza, just cheese, for $ 9.99. Now, if you want a XL pepperoni pizza, it’s like 15 bucks, but if you must do the $ 9.99 deal, and add the topping, it’s only an additional $ 2.99. Such a good deal for truly great pizza.

This pizza hits the spot. Good quality cheese. The sauce is a little sweet for my taste, but whatever. The extra thin crust is nice and crunchy. This pizza kind of reminded me of Chuck e Cheese (or showbiz pizza if you remember those days). I recommend.

Really dissappointed. Grew up down the street and loved their food. But to day I had to wait an hour and a half after being told the wait time would be an hour. Got attitude on the phone and in the end got a barely warm pizza. Had I known I would have to heat it myself I shouldve just bought a frozen pizza. Never again!

Very poor customer service. I was rudely hung up when I was attempting to place my order. People that answer the phone have no customer service etiquette or consideration towards ordering a few minutes before closing. To top it off I order literally almost every weekend. If I could rate customer service 0 stars I would.

Our go to place when we want quick fast food. 9.99 family size pizza with side of hot buffalo wings, our usual order. food is great, my favorite is the meatball sandwich. So delicious.

I recently had my daughter’s Birthday party at LaCoco’s Banquet. I couldn’t have been more happier with how great everything was. Staff was super friendly! The food came out at EXACTLY the time I had requested! The room and bathrooms were very clean and organized.
The pizza was so good I had to order more for my guests! :)

When i comes to delivery you need to live close or your food will be cold and takes for ever to get here plus i ordered a spaghetti and its supposed to come with a salad after waiting over a hour in a half they forget my salad lol and plus my huge portion only came with two small meatballs plus my boyfriend ordered the madd fries and it was very sloppy and soggy only order if last resort

I have always been very pleased with my food from LaCoco’s! The breaded steak sandwiches are out of this world, the meatballs are amazing, wings are great and I am always craving the pan pepperoni pizza! I have done both dine in and delivery. It’s amazing that they deliver the distances they do because there isn’t any good food places close to my house! Highly recommend!!!

The MADD Fries and the Chicken Sandwiches were so awesome, I just wanted to tell everyone that you have to stop by and try them :) Keep up the good work

Once again I wish you could give negative stars on Unilocal.
The worst customer service! We ordered a pizza and fries at 6:30. We were told our order would be here in an hour. At 7:45 my husband calls to find out where our order is. He was told it’s with the driver and should be there in a few minutes. Our order finally arrives at 8:05. The pizza is cold and no french fries. My husband tells the driver we want a refund because who wants a cold pizza. The driver says call for a refund. My husband proceeds to call and ask Jackie «the manager» for a refund. She was very sarcastic and did not even apologize. Now my husband is just amazed at the horrible customer service. He asks Jackie who her boss is and once again is extremely sarcastic and rude and says go ahead and call my boss then hangs up. The worst we will never order from here again. This is just absolutely unacceptable behavior from the service industry. We were pretty regular customers, not anymore.
If you want an incorrect order and cold pizza feel free to order from here. If not call somewhere, anywhere else.

Update: I would like to say thank you to Anthony for the apology to my husband. Unfortunately Jackie has left a such a bad impression that we still will not return to your establishment.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday with a fairly large group, (15 or so) and it took fooooorever to get our food. An hour and a half or so.
Also, it was cold. I’m normally hot, and everyone in the group, including me, was shivering.
The one nice thing about the place was that they split the check for us without complaint.
OK wings. So-​so loaded fries. Probably will not return.
