The food is good but i feel they need new staff. Deep fried corn is the best. Tried it here for the 1st time. Ordered a corn dog but it was burned the top was literally black like ¼ of the top corndog was indeible. Idk how they could still send something out like that!?? The chicken was good. red beans was good but could use a bit more flavor. The girl delivery driver was VERY lazy. Didnt call. Knocked upstairs when i said basement and forgot my soda on top of it all. I called the place and told them she forgot my soda.. delivery girl came bak and rolled her eyes when i asked if there was a straw (it was a fountain drink!!!). Bottom line is. Do not tip the delivery drivers until u recieve all of your food with no attitude from the delivery person. the food is good. Very good. But the staff is making this restaurant plummet downards into a point of no return

Will never order from this establishment again. Ordered on a friday night and although I give people a little leeway when it comes to delivery times on peak times, this was ridiculous. Waited 2 hours then called and was told they are one delivery person short and it should arrive any minute. half hour goes by and still no food and called back again to cancel my order. no attempt by the person on the phone to make things right except giving a tongue in cheek apology.
I have picked up from here before and the food was decent so I can’t gripe on that but its definitely not worth waiting half your day for.

If you like Popeye’s you’ll love Krispy Krunchy. It’s affordable, greasy, comfort food. Tastes pretty good and they even deliver! I will warn that if you get delivery don’t be put off by the greasiness of the bag. You are consuming fried chicken after all.
I found their biscuits to be especially tasty. They rival those of Popeye’s because they’re already sweet without adding honey. Though of course Popeye’s are great as well and will always have a place in my heart.

I would’ve given a better rating because the chicken is good, however ordered through Grub Hub the delivery driver refused to climb the stairs to my apartment. Gave a lame excuse that he can’t climb stairs after the fact the tip was prepaid. So I had to go down and get my food. Don’t order delivery they suck!
Go and pick it up, biscuits are good, red beans and rice not as good as Popeyes…

Surprisingly good! This was a quick takeout choice to satisfy my need for fried poultry. I pass by the gas station location on elston without second thought as it reminds me of downhome broaster chicken you can find in Centralia or something. However, I figured I give it a shot and I was not disappointed.
The chicken is totally krispy and krunchy with a little kick of spice. I’m thinking it’s somewhere between the flavor and texture of Jewel chicken (one of my favs) and Popeyes (another fave). It is a tad spicy for weaklings (black pepper spicy) and nicely seasoned. Biscuit was a bummer with its doughy inside and the red beans with rice fell flat for me. Families rejoice, they have a Vienna all beef corn dog for the kiddies.
Super option for couch potatoes as they offer delivery and are on grub hub.
