The sandwich gets one star, while the customer service is four stars. I had a chicken panini that came with spinach, provolone cheese, pesto sauce, and tomato. I don’t eat a lot of sandwiches, but I love panini’s. Let me say that while I appreciate the type of bread they used, which was a French roll baguette type, I prefer my panini’s with flat bread. Btw, I requested extra spinach, which is the star of chicken panini’s, in my opinion. My order is ready and placed before me is what looks like a sandwich pan toasted a little, with chunks of cubed chicken and spinach. The spinach was spilling out of the sandwich. I. Was. Annoyed. Panini’s are neat sandwiches. The ingredients are pressed together to form a tight little neat sandwich. Half of the ingredients shouldn’t fall out. I picked up the panini and more spinach started falling out, as well as the chicken cubes. Who made this travesty??? I hate half of the fake panini. complained to the boyfriend of course. Eventually, the ever so caring boyfriend grabbed the manager and I explained to her that this was no panini. She offered something different from the menu, which I accepted. I ordered some sort of chicken on a croissant. It was good; only ate half. The manager was apologetic, aimed to rectify the matter and please a customer. I love great customer service and I will go back for more sandwiches. Just not that bogus panini.

I love the selection and the salad bar at Jason’s. All meals include a free ice cream if you are dining in. The food is always fresh and flavorful. God for lunch or dinner!

Fresh food, good veggie options, good customer service. Seating area very open and little like cafeteria seating so we just get it to go. The lobster soup was very watery compared to when they first introduced. Otherwise good late lunch:)

I love Jason’s Deli for what it is: a great place for a fresh salad, yummy sandwiches, unlimited iced tea and(of course!) free soft-serve ice cream. I’m disappointed only in the error in this Unilocal listing: they don’t have free WiFi — they don’t have *any* WiFi at all(despite my recommending it to the manager every time I’ve gone in since they first opened.)

Went in for a quick bite. I haven’t been to this location in years, but I frequent their Loop location — the takeaway salad bar has saved me from many a hungry day at the office. Place was packed with a mix of families, delivery drivers on break, college students. Ordered the salad bar and a cup of soup. The salad bar was a little sparse on selection. While I understand that the Loop location caters to a totally different demographic, I was a little surprised at its overall lack of appeal. Not a large variety of vegetables — no cauliflower or broccoli — eggs were absent due to the egg shortage. There were two unnamed concoctions — the one I tried was some kind of cabbage salad. The Italian pasta salad was bland at this location, but it’s one of my go tos downtown. The cottage cheese was a little off and the pickles were nowhere near crisp. There was something off about the chili and the ice cream was too sweet somehow. I chalk it up to being accustomed to a location that caters to a totally different demographic. My review is limited to the salad bar and the chili, and I’m fairly confident that their sandwiches meet Jason’s standards(everyone there was more than happy with their lunch). One thing that needs to be addressed — for one reason or another, the staging area faces the dining room. That’s a mistake. I had the displeasure of watching the manager dump a large bag of pre-made, processed soup into the warmer bin. It was disappointing — I kind of thought that a fast casual establishment at that price point would at least make their soup in house. I’m sure some of their competitors do the same, which should improve consistency from location to location, but like I said, not so much with the chili here.

I’ve been a fan of Jason’s deli for years!!! But since the last few visits here not sure if that will continue. I remember getting a GOOD sandwich that was stuffed with meat and trimmings, now it’s barely a sandwich! Then the few times that I did ask to get it fixed it was a problem. Their French onion soup on several occasions was too salty!!! Shocking today it had no flavor! The servings of food are getting skimpier and skimpier! I remember upon a time I would leave Jason’s deli full with just a half a sandwich and soup. Now I’m leaving disappointed and still hungry!!! I’ve been to a lot of Jason’s deli all over, but this location seems to be the only one where I seem to have difficulty with… It’s real disappointing when your use to be favorite sandwich place is now somewhere you won’t be returning no more! The only reason I’m writing this review is because I’ve compromised so many times and I’m not happy spending money somewhere and not leaving satisfied!

Really great place to sit down and eat for lunch. Some buddies of mine and I would go here probably once a week for the longest time. Nice atmosphere, great price, and nice people. My favorite and go-to sandwich is the Club sandwich. And I LOVE that they have Cholula hot sauce here! It’s a big deal because i find that a lot of restaurant don’t offer this hot sauce. I think its a great touch. It’s the little things, I suppose. You should definitely try this place for lunch sometime.

They have improved to the point that I’m giving them 5 stars. I’ve completed their feedback surveys(online) and mentioned the soups were too salty. The soups that I’ve tried are now better. I usually go with half sandwich and soup specials or the pasta dishes then supplement with the free ice cream. I like that the tables and floors are keep clean.

I placed a group order and realized that I had forgotten two order to sandwiches. The realization happened twenty minutes before the meeting was supposed to start. I called, and the driver was already out, but they were able to catch him in enough time and he returned to the store and came back with everything in plenty of time for the meeting to start. The person on the phone and the delivery guy could not have been nicer and it was extremely appreciated! Excellent customer service!

The service can get a lil awkward, I feel like everyone is still in «customer service» training. Food is good, chocolate mousse at the salad bar is awesome! It’s not the cheapest sandwich place around but it’s pretty decent. Nothing bad and nothing too exciting. There’s many other better places around. This place is sort of franchisey.

Today I stopped in to get my lunch for work. But I have been in hear a few times. I love the service. Always service with a smile and asking is it anything else I can get for you. I have had the fresh salad bar and the soups(chicken pot pie and southwest chicken chili) is my favorite Have not had the sandwiches. But this places get my stars because of the nice and neat salad bar. Not over crowded and just fresh. I think this is a nice place with plenty of parking for grab and go or even if you can grab a seat and enjoy even better And yes you can have your free ice cream yummy

For what it is, this place is great. Fairly cheap, quick, and actually seems healthy! Tons of options, nice drink selection, and the salad bar looked delicious-a friend who had ordered in the past confirmed it is. Plus, free ice cream! Great for lunch or a quick dinner.

Ok Jasons Deli — I’ve given so many chances and now I have to Unilocal about it. We order lunch at my office everyday. Jasons Deli has been the place chosen many times. The food is awesome and that is why we do like ordering from here. However — THEDELIVERYISTERRIBLE. I don’t get it. We have ordered over 15 times in the last few years and every single time it takes as long as 2 or more hours to get to us. Today we ordered… same results. We ordered at 11am for the food to arrive at 12. They say allow 30 minutes… so ok latest 12:30. It’s 1pm as I write this and still nothing. When I call they can only tell me «They should be there any minute». Yeah that was 20 minutes ago lady. To rely on them for any kind of business lunch or pretty much ANY kind of lunch that you want to have at, say, lunch time — is pretty much super pointless. THEYWILLNEVERBEONTIME. Now am I insane to keep ordering from them knowing their 2 year long track record of never being on time? Yes. Yes I am insane. Right now I have an entire office of hungry pissed off people. Sadly I think this will be our last Jasons Deli order too. Hey just some advice Jasons Deli… if you can’t give people their food when you promise it… maybe you need another driver or two. Something is clearly not working due to the fact that you are consistently late. My boyfriend is more on time than this… THATISBAD. I’m done now.

I had never heard of Jason’s Deli yet if I think back on it I have seen it many times when I went in the area and truly didn’t think much of it or ever wanted to go into this restaurant. Well, one Saturday afternoon after volunteering at an event for women my girl, her mom and I decided that we would go check out Jason’s Deli, now this wasn’t their first time here and they even warned me if it was as crowded like it normally is that we would have to go some place else. Well, luckily it was only semi-packed so we got the Spicy Shrimp Gumbo, the Chicken Tortilla soup as well as the unlimited salad bar which was only 7.50. The salad bar was filled with some great and fresh items; I just wish they had some different lunch meats as one of their selections. They did have some unusual selections like the potato salad that taste like a baked potato it was so good. They had different kinds of nuts like almonds, sunflower seeds and granola. 3 different kinds of greens(spinach, iceberg and mixed green). They had a wide variety items so you could make a different salad each time. They also had chocolate mouse and pudding both were great. The dressing was real good and it took everything in me not to just drizzle and pile it on it was so fresh. All in all the items are fresh just wish they had a selection of meats. The soup was so good but it was not unlimited I believe for a bowl it was 4.99 but don’t quote me on that it was somewhere around there but not more than that and it was so good. I got the Spicy Shrimp Gumbo and boy did I want more and it truly wasn’t that spicy but flavorful. They will allow you to have a sample of the soup before you commit to one. The Chicken Tortilla was also very good and after I tasted it I wish I had got that one instead of the one I ordered I just didn’t want Tortillas in my soup… lol but then it wouldn’t have been Chicken Tortilla soup. The staff was friendly and boy we had to keep tabs on our plate a few times because they were ready to take them away before we were done. It was a great causal atmosphere, people were on their laptops, reading books and actually have a genuine conversation. I was surprised I only pulled out my phone to check in to Unilocal before putting it in my purse and enjoying a lazy Saturday afternoon. The bathrooms were clean and had the those special toilets that has the up for 1 and down for 2… which I found interesting and very environmentally friendly. To top it off you get a free ice cream cone which I filled with chocolate fudge and then added the ice cream it was so good. I wish I had topped it off with some almonds… I know that would have made it even better. If you are not a cone person they also have small bowls. If I had known that this Deli that I saw but I didn’t see before was so good and inviting I would have tried it out a long time ago. Enjoy!

Jason’s Deli!!! okay they have a lot of seating and it’s kid and family friendly yes those thing are good. They have a nice menu with soup and sandwiches and salad bar deal with all you can eat and soft serve ice-cream is free! It’s great right? But the problem is their food isn’t that great and isn’t worth the stomach issues afterwards. I feel so bad for my husband he hasn’t stop going ot the bathroom since we got back from eating at Jason’s deli. I feel bad for him and I felt bad I chose to dine there tonight. I’m feeling okay though hope he is going to feel better. He ordered their french onion soup it was very salty. And I had their chicken noodles soup not too bad. SIGH I learn my lesson don’t go back to Jason’s deli with hubby. I stil like their soft serve ice-cream.

WOW! I experienced Jason’s Deli as a catered lunch and I must say I was nothing but impressed. Although there was a large volume and variety of food was delivered it was all fresh, hot and delicious. The portions were generous and I’m not going to lie… the variety of sandwiches caused me to have way too much for lunch that day… but it was worth it. I had never heard of Jason’s Deli prior to this experience but I took a napkin that day so I wouldn’t forget. I am delighted to find out there is one in Park Ridge near me… I will be headed there soon and I can only hope it’s as good as this one is! bravo!

This is a great«fast food» option for those who are sick of the same old… PARKING– Jason’s is located in a shopping center, so parking is easy. PRICING– I think everything is pretty fairly priced. For example, you can get a MASSIVE loaded baked potato(about the size of a dinner plate) for around $ 6.00 FREEICECREAM! STAFF– Very friendly and pleasant. DRINKS– There is an awesome fountain concoction called Blueberry-Pomegranate. It is a «Jason’s recipe.» It is very refreshing and light tasting. I highly recommend it. ORDERING– Ordering was a bit confusing. If you are dining there, you simply go up to the cash register and you physically look at a hand-held menu. Seems like that might get backed up during the lunch rush? BONUS– It seems like this place originated in New Orleans. the menu includes seafood gumbo, French bread from New Orleans, and a variety of muffulettas. What a nice surprise!

I’ve only tried their Reuben, so my review is based solely on that sandwich as well as the salad bar and fruit. Everytime I crave a Reuben sandwich, I head straight to Jason’s Deli. It’s a HUMONGOUS sandwich with plenty of corned beef and sauerkraut that are stacked a mile high on rye bread with Russian dressing. A half sandwich is more than enough to satisfy my appetite, especially since I like to get a side of fruit or salad with the sandwich instead of the potato chips. They serve this yogurt sauce with the fruit which is absolutely delicious and is the perfect dip. You make your own salad from the salad bar, which is piled with almost everything you can think of that you want in a salad(no meat products except bacon bits). Best part? FREE soft serve ice-cream! YUM. Side note, my husband absolutely LOVES their California club and says it’s the best club sandwich he’s had.
