This is always a stop for me during layovers in Chicago and their Reuben wrap has been my all time favorite. Not sure what happened but this time, the meat was tough, hard to chew and I had no choice but spit out to avoid choking. After taking 2 bites, I had to throw the rest of it away. $ 14.82 down the drain(after leaving them the usual $ 2 tip). Disappointing but maybe it will be better next time.

What a nightmare this place is. Seating is shared table style but there’s no table service. We hovered around the bar until 2 seats opened up and squeezed in. Ordered a glass of wine and constantly had people 3 deep behind us trying to order due to the lack of table service. Drinks were spilled. the bar back couldn’t care less. Drinks were empty. .took forever to get a 2nd round. Go anywhere else if u have a choice.

Airport food. Overpriced and small portions. Ok that’s out of the way– it’s pretty good. Made fresh, there is a good bar with a take out beer option– dope. Bartender was nice. Plus terminal C is out of the way(across from C25) so people here are pretty chill. It’s not busy like the chills Togo. Ok so they have their own home brew. The IPA was aight.

Ordered a deluxe bagel with sausage, egg, chopped peppers and onions and a small coffee. Received a croissant with egg and a coffee cup that was half full. Would have loved to have complained to fix the order but was on my way to catch another flight. The food was still good, but not sure how they messed up that bad.

I checked in by accident last week, although I *have* eaten here. Slow service. Pricey food. Tastes pretty good, but not my favorite thing at ORD. If you are at the end of the C gates it’s convenient, but it wouldn’t be a «must have».

The employees are barely not high. The veggie pizza is stacked so tall with soggy mushrooms and much too-large pieces of broccoli that the crust beneath turns soggy before the first bite. Also, while the cheese is browned on top, absolutely nothing else is even warm. I am very afraid that I’m about to have food poisoning. Why didn’t I return it? Because the crowd behind the counter look like they would rub their balls on my new dish as revenge for having to do more work.

Staff was very friendly and outgoing; beer was cold but the grilled cheese sandwich was nasty!

Ok service although they over charged us. Food quality was poor and slapped together, the premise food in other locations look way better than this«freshly made» wraps!

Popped in here for a wrap-sandwich as I noticed a very long line snaking it’s way outside. In line were a few pilots(one of my telltale signs it’s a decent place). In the past flying through ORD I’d head to the food court or somewhere quick and efficient. I will avoid this past reflex now after finding Berghoff. The sandwich selection here is vast and they are are big and use fresh ingredients. My choice was a turkey club wrap(a sign on the counter mentioned there was an extra .75 cents charge as price of turkeys has risen). No issue for me. My wrap was hearty, tasty and filling. Pricing was $ 13 without a drink but I’m fine paying this for what I’d consider a deli style sandwich. On the left of the order counter is a nice busy seating area with a bar and a window outside. It’s a busy place but worth the wait. Next visit I’m coming back for the Cuban! For a hungry guy the wrap-sandwich was enough to fill my empty tummy. You may need more but it was fine for me.

The line is long, but well worth it. This is a crowded place anytime of day and there is a reason for it. Meats are sliced to order and the Cuban is a great option. The price is a bit on the high side, but for airport cost«surcharge» still a fair option. I usually skip the sides, as the sandwiches are piled high and hearty. If you are passing by, skip the Reggios stand(trust me!) and grab a meal here.

It’s airport food so it’s nothing to write home about but I got a good roast beef panini here, made by a friendly and jolly gentleman. Someone who can make you laugh during the hustle, bustle and annoyance of travel is always a welcome surprise! Good food, good price point, fast service.

With very little time in Chicago yesterday, Berghoff really did the trick. It’s all very fresh meat. My ham and Swiss sandwich, much to my surprise, was not deli meat. It was actually roasted ham. Cut in very thick slices too. The wheat bread was very soft. Came with a pickle spear on the side. The sandwich wasn’t incredibly flavorful and my total was $ 10.77. Airport prices. I liked how fresh everything was though.

Great spot to unwind with a beer and a quick bite before your flight. I had a delicious egg white breakfast sandwich with a Berghoff Oktoberfest. Full service bar as well. Doesn’t get much better!

Best airport breakfast I’ve had! Quick service, made to order breakfast sandwiches and omelettes, good prices. Cooks are very efficient and courteous. Food was freshly made right in front of you(no pre-made, re-heated eggs). Cashier was super nice even when my card didn’t work the first 5 swipes. Veggie omelette was $ 7 and breakfast croissant was $ 6. Where else can you get a freshly made breakfast for that price?! To top it off, an employee was just passing by and offered to clean up our plates. Wow, that is service. Bonus: silverware is produced with plant starch and boxes are not styrofoam. Yay for helping save the environment!

Best food in the airport, right around gate C26. I had a long morning layover and was so happy to find a place that had hot breakfast, made to order right in front of you! Omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, French toast! Breakfast will run you around 7 bucks, very reasonable. And the bagels –while not NY bagels – are way better than the others in terminal C. The line can get long, but I didn’t wait longer than 10 minutes. If you’ve got some time to play with it’s a million time better than anything at Starbucks. I Highly recommend walking down the corridor to Berghoffs!

The good: The greasy burger. I was hungry for a burger and the double cheeseburgers hit the spot! They also have all the fixings for you to add! The Bad: no dedicated seats. Beer was overpriced and in a small plastic cup. The Rest: Overall got what I wanted: a fast burger and a beer. Service was good and friendly. Burger was juicy and good.

Landed at ORD and needed some dinner. I had about an hour and after making my way to the C Concourse, I found Berghoff to be close to my next departure gate. Place looked packed, must be a good sign that either the food was good, the beer was good, or there were attractive stewardesses close by. As airport food goes this place was pretty good. They have house beers, I had a pale ale. I needed a beer, I got a beer… that worked out pretty nice. I ordered a Turkey and Bacon Panini and added sauerkraut. They make the food pretty darn quick, the turkey was even fresh carved. The line to pay didnt’ move all that fast, as I was stuck holding my food for about 8 – 10 minutes whilst they worked out an issue… just made me hungrier. My co-workers and I found some hi-top seats together, and destroyed our food. I ate so fast I was still«hungry» so I got an order of fries… yeah for greasy feeling tummy on another 4hr flight! All-in-all…decent food. Easy to find. Pretty reasonably prices(sandwich, fries, and a beer was about $ 22). ENJOY!!!

I came here in search of deep dish pizza while on layover to Washington DC. Although this wasn’t deep dish, the pizza here was still very tasty. I don’t expect much from airport food, but the pepperoni pizza was very satisfying. It was just the right size for a meal, and a good ratio of cheese sauce and pepperoni. The place was fairly busy but I was able to grab a seat at the bar easily. Good place to grab a quick bite and a drink.

If you go ANYWHERE to grab a bite before your next flight, make it this place! The intoxicating smell of their pizza will reel you in like the aroma hand in old timey cartoons, but tis the roast beef Panini you need to order. I’m telling you now, the sandwich ain’t no joke. Thick sliced brisket, almost like Italian/Chicago beef style, topped with caramelized onions, provolone cheese and then heated up. I should have gotten a better pic, but the sandwich didn’t last long. For all my Florida peeps out there, they offer a «Cuban» sandwich, but I’d stay away from that thing. It doesn’t look like any Cuban I’ve ever seen.

How much did I pay for their sandwich? $ 12+ I think. Was it any good? What do you think? Airport food is airport food. I wanted to try Frontera by Rick Bayless but I was in Terminal 1 and his place was in Terminal 2 and 3. The food gods didn’t want to favor me during my Chicago trip. Mlah, mlah, mlah. At least their serving was huge. What you lack in quality, you make up with quantity. I know. Makes no sense. Maybe.
