I witnessed a rude incident yesterday where a worker was rude to a customer. Customer ordered a pint or quart of ice cream, paid, and the worker put the ice cream on the counter and walked away. Customer waited a few minutes in silence probably thinking the worker was coming back to bag the purchase. When she didn’t customer asked for a bag and the worker opened a paper bag and put it next to the purchase not in the bag. Customer asked for a plastic bag and the worker put the bag on top of the ice cream. Customer asked the worker to bag the item and the worker admittedly refused. Customer asked other workers to bag the purchase and they ignored customer. Customer again asked for purchase to be bagged or refund her money. A gentleman walked in and the worker told the man to refund the purchase. I taped everything and talked to the customer and told her I was going to report the incident and so should she. This morning I called and talked to Thelma who was very nice and told me to call back in the morning and ask for Simo, the manager, and I will. Only Mexican/Hispanics work at this location and it is a bad representation of us! I live in the neighborhood but will not buy from this store again until I talk to the manager! #rudeandridiculous

This location is clean and the staff are quick in the morning at Dunkin Donuts. A few times I have gone here at night to get some ice cream. They only have 1 or 2 people working so the wait can be very long if you get behind a family trying to taste everything. The location is convenient, but a bit seedy with people asking for money outside.

I come here all the time, it’s one of my favorite dunkin donuts/baskin robins location in the the city. Employees are really friendly and it’s not to noisy either.

Is a medium French Vanilla iced coffee with cream and sugar that difficult to make?! This location is a «hit or miss». Nothing else around for a quick bite unless you prefer expensive, and strong, Starbucks. I actually stopped going to this place after so many disgusting iced drinks. This week made me write the review though. A girl named Marilyn made theeeee best iced coffee after my hiatus. I looked at my receipt and since asked her to make my coffee. I went this week and asked her could she make it again; I didn’t have singles after my change so I told her to keep the $ 5 dollar bill as a tip. The cashier was happily surprised but then had to ask the manager, who seems like a jerk to work for, could she take it. The manager shook her head with an attitude and told Marilyn that she herself would make my coffee. The manager actually told another employee to make it… and it sucked. Wait… they can’t take tips!!! I’ve worked in food service and even the Jersey Mike’s nearby and we were able to take tips. Today, the manager herself made my coffee… and it sucked. LOL Oh well, I still don’t think this is enough for me to just hop over to Starbucks. If you can get over the small area that can get crowded quick and, occasionally, the dark water they claim is coffee, it’s alright.

There aren’t many seats inside, so you’re kind of stuck sharing a chair with your friend if you’re lucky. The customer service is alright. The lady behind the counter seemed to know the nurses coming in late at night, but she just stared at us while my friends and I were awkwardly sitting there eating and chatting.

So glad this place is in my neighborhood! I can’t believe it took me this long to visit! I try really hard not to have coffee on weekends but this weekend I was craving coffee! Trying to cut down my coffee costs, I opted for Dunkin instead of Starbucks. For a small caramel iced coffee and a sausage wrap, it only cost me $ 3.20! Awesome deal! Service here was phenomenal. The staff was very fast and friendly. The lady double checked with me the type of caramel I wanted(apparently they have sweet and unsweetened caramel?). I was happy she wanted to make sure my drink was perfect. And it was! They have about four to five 2-seater tables and they are joint with Baskin Robins. Lots of fancy ice cream cakes. It looks delicious! A super bonus is that this place is opened 24 hours! Another wonderful reason to living in the South Loop!

2 things make this place amazing. 1. It’s open 24 hours. Other than the grocery store, not much else around here is. So that’s awesome. 2. Their ice cream flavor of the month for April 2011 is Firehouse 31 which is the best thing I’ve ever had. It is vanilla with cinnamon candies(very spicy) and cinnamon swirls(also very spicy) — kind of tastes like hot tamales candy as ice cream with a little bit of vanilla mixed in. And I’m in love. The guy behind the counter didn’t really believe me when I told him I wanted it and that yes I was sure I wanted it without tasting it. But I was right, I loved it. Sometimes it smells a little funny inside, so no 5th star. That said, the outside smells FANTASTIC, sending delicious donutty scents wafting throughout the neighborhood.

I usually go to the Dunkin Donuts on Wabash and Harrison because it’s convenient, but I was in the area so my friend and I went to this location. I was pleasantly surprised that the service was good. The employees were pleasant and friendly, and the wait was not long. Dunkin Donuts is always cheap grub too, which is great for me since I’m a student.

Although my Jewish grandmother may disown me, I have learned that, in a pinch, a Dunkin Doughnuts bagel isn’t half bad. Every once in a while when I am craving a bagel before work, I may just stop at here to get my whole wheat with reduced fat cream cheese. For a fast food restaurant in a, sometimes, less than desirable location ‚(depends on the time of day) the staff continues to impress me with their degree of customer service and efficiency.

Okay so this location has a couple of bad reviews, I can understand why, but… my opinion is going to be a little different because I know what makes this location good, I will start with the drawbacks though. Its tiny. No indoor seating tiny. Long ass lines that go out the door. BUT… You know why the lines are long? This is one of the few locations that actually make the donuts! That’s right people not every DD makes their donuts in shop. So if you come here you’ll know that you’ll get a super fresh dammed tasty donut! Also the staff bust their ass here to get everyone out as quickly as possible… just don’t go on a Sunday when the Bears are having a home game. Also its open 24 hours, Which is nice if you get a donut craving at like say 3 am.

Staff is prompt and friendly. The real drawback are the panhandlers outside. Everytime I go in, there are at LEAST2 – 3. Be careful.

This location is pretty small, but the service was prompt and friendly. The owner even gave us a bunch of free munchkins(it was late at night).
