I’ve ordered from this place a couple times and both times it was excellent! I got the beef and chicken shawarma combo this time. It was well seasoned and fresh. They give you a good amount too for your money. Excellent pitas as well.

I love this place. We’ve mostly ordered takeout/​delivery but eat-​in is fine, too. No frills, lots of cab drivers (great sign, in my opinion) and an extremely friendly counter service. The baba ghanouj has a perfectly roasted eggplant flavor with a great texture and the hummus is creamy with out being over blended– neither are too salty. We usually share the Ameer Platter with beef shawarma and chicken kabob and the Chicken shawarma salad. I feel this is some of the best Mediterranean I’ve had and am so happy to have found it not on this funny stretch of Milwaukee Ave!
Oh yes – Their lentil soup is great, too!

Pretty good middle eastern place. Looked like a cheap knock off of pita inn for those who know that place as the menu is almost identical. The shawarma was very good. Not a fan of the falafel at all and the tahini sauce shouldn’t be that thick. Only complaints about the place. Other than that, a definite go to place

Soooo frickin’ good! I stopped by last week to see that this place was closed and I panicked. Fortunately I stopped by today for lunch and I see that the inside has been completely remodeled. Its good to see that my favorite mediterranean place hasnt closed down for good.
I got a beef kabob on a large salad and the meat was cooked to perfection.
Same great flavors and service.

Their hummus is fantastic, baba delicious, gyros great, kababs… YES. Pitas galore… yummy carbs in my tummy and my thighs… the NY resolution will start soon enough.

Drove past this place in search for a good/​quick lunch to enjoy with my mother and made a u-​turn to find parking bc it caught my eye. Food wait was not long, too bad all of the tables were dirty and we had to wipe one down ourselves. Then we ordered some pop and who restocks the fridge and moves the cold ones to the back, all of the bottles were sticky. Then we get our food (which was absolutely delicious) expect for when half way through my food not 1 but 2 baby roaches crawled up the wall. We no longer could eat and when my mother told the young girl at the desk she acted as if she had no clue what we were talking about and did not offer a refund or to even look at what we killed.

Great deliciousness! This place is right around the corner from my house and I can’t believe I’ve never ordered from here before. As far as I can tell, it seems pretty healthy too. I had the Combination Feast with Rice and an order of Hummus. I’m tempted to eat it all in one sitting, but this is enough for two meals.

Not trying to be a total hater but I’ve ordered from this spot twice now. They’re a mile and a half from my place. The first time they were an hour and a half late and the original wait time was an hour. The guy told me traffic was bad. Nonsense. Food was good and it was also actually hot so they clearly just didn’t bother to send it out on time.
The owner promised me a free meal for my next order. He’s now totally flabbergasted that I’m asking for my free meal. Delivery was super late again. Same deal — good food terrible delivery and incompetent staff. Sorry Ameer, I want to praise the schawerma but you’re service is awful.
It can’t be this hard and you clearly don’t care. See ya never, BYYYYEEEEEE

This is the first restaurant I visited in Chicago and it didn’t throw up any surprises. The food was great and the owner was very nice.
Other than that — the utensils were not clean, the place was smoky, the place can need a lot of TLC!
I think it’ll be great for to-​go and deliveries as the food is great.

TERRIBLE! I ordered delivery food via Eat24 and they brought us an order that was cold, looked old, and missing half of our items. The food was subpar — the rice tasted like it was Lipton or Knorr broth rice. They said they would deliver the rest of our order and never did.
Shame on them — I called the restaurant from the delivery guy’s phone and they just blamed their delivery guy instead of trying to make up for it.

Couldn’t put it any better. I must admit that I am rather surprised at the comments over the service, especially delivery. I have eaten here about 4 times and have always been treated nicely. If I was the proprietor, I would investigate all the complaints about delivery.

Holy moly. When you think about chicken schwarma, it’s that meat on a big stick and they shave it off and throw it on the grill to heat it up. That’s not the case here. This schwarma is legit schwarma. Real schwarma. Like I’m takin real good schwarma. Just look at that pic of mine.

Food fuels my motivation when I work out and seeing as this place is at the end of my running route it’s often been the reason I’ve burned a bunch of calories. Even though I end up putting them back in eating here it’s all relatively healthy stuff and definitely doesn’t break the bank.
The entrees are all about 10 bucks and come with a good sized side salad, creamy hummus, rice and pita bread. With pretty quality portions of tasty marinated meats It’s definitely a steal for something that you can potentially eat for two meals.
There’s not much to the interior or the signage, but don’t let that fool ya… it’s a pretty solid spot for pickup or delivery. Overall a great spot for folks the who dine on their own more often than not.

I was told this place has a great chicken shawarma sandwich. So I went. They were right! My chicken shawarma sandwich was full of seasoned moist chicken with a great sauce. The fries that came with it were hot but not great. Can’t wait to go back and explore the menu.
The staff was very friendly as well.
