I would like to compliment one of the employees at this location – Mike Roach. He was awesome in assisting with the information I needed for a repair in my home. Mike took the time with me and explained step by step what would be required to get the job done right. Awesome! Jeff McManemy

Home Depot is my go-to for any home project over Lowes; sorry. Home Depot is a builder’s palace, Lowes is a decorator’s palace. This location was well organized, well stocked and the customer service was awesome! Beware the walk of shame as you et close to checkout; the little mini items advertised for $ 1 really add up lol.

I loves me some Homey-D!!! I’m really glad to have this store as my local store! I’m also really glad that we have THD as a home improvement shopping option because the last community where we lived only had Lowe’s and Menard’s…both of which I consider vastly inferior to THD on the basis of product selection, customer service and staff knowledge. I could go on and on about how much I enjoy shopping here but it may be more valuable to share that I have sent two letters(yep, stamp and all) to their CEO this year to commend different employees who were integral to successful completion of projects. I cannot even name the year when I last sent a letter to a company. I was that impressed…

This Home Depot rolls out the red carpet for their customers. I am always greeted by multiple people all willing to help make my shopping experience better. Garden Center has people ready to help load every time I have shopped there. Great selection of plants with knowledgeable sales associates. Ample parking and loading areas.

I visited this location of the Home Depot recently to purchase a new storm door and a decent amount of landscaping supplies. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It’s amazing how going from one location of Home Depot can make a hit into a miss and vice versa. Coming to this location and working with Tom and Brent was surely a hit!

I don’t know of a better Home Depot location! They are so nice in here! I can’t stand the Ellisville store so I drive out of my way to this one!

I’m looking for paint and was going to pick up a few paint chip cards to help in the selection. The woman at the paint desk offered to help when I asked her if she had a good eye for color. She was extremely helpful, and also told me that the«regular» Behr paint colors can also be had in the ultra-premium Behr paint, which was the paint I wanted. The jury’s still out on the color, so no purchases at this time.

Any Home Depot is pretty great. I prefer them hands down to Lowe’s. This one in the valley is set up a bit goofy compared to my home store, but its still not bad.

My home away from HOME. Where I but everything for the house! Seriously, this girl knows her way around the hardware ha ha! In all seriousness, I do love home depot because it enables me to paint, tile, decorate, and re-imagine my life. The staff is always pretty helpful, and they can hook you up with a deal on display items!

This is a general comment on Home Depot, not the one in Chestefield Valley specifically, but that is the one I use. I have been a long time patron of Lowes next door for a couple of silly reasons. –Lowes were first to build here, so that is where I go –Lowes is about a block closer so that is the one I come to first. –I like Lowes blue motif bettter than Home Depot’s orange. No kidding. All that said, Home Depot does have better selection in the electrical supplies area so this is where I head when Lowes lets me down. For a recent home ethernet project, it was nearly all Home Depot. Now here is the main reason to go to Lowes instead. Refund promptness and process. Both cheerfully accept your returns. Home Depot takes weeks(3 – 4 at least) to credit back to your account. Lowes does it about as fast as they did the debit in the first place. Let’s face it, we all end up with materials we don’t need at the end of a project and it is nice to be able to return unused stuff. Lowes get’s the nod here.
