It was good. Isn’t a place I would go to for«fresh» Seafood. Especially considering the price. I’d give Customer Service an A.

I feel like if you’ve been to one chain restaurant then you’ve been to them all! The food for the most parts are consistent throughout restaurants but the service is always going to be a different experience. It was my friends 21st birthday, and she wanted to come here so i was down, even though i don’t like nor eat seafood. Im sad to say i can’t remember our servers name, but i have his face in my head, wheres a sketch artist when you need one. Anyways he was cool at first he kept trying to develop some humor relationship with the table, and i didn’t care it wasn’t bothering me, but my friend, the birthday girl, wasn’t feeling him at all, Now lets point out it was her 21st birthday and she just found out she was pregnant, so she’s already feeling some type of way. I can’t exactly remember the jokes he was saying, but he was pissing her off. Now onto my problem, soI ordered a frozen alcoholic drink, and it was good, but not like i remembered so i’d realized i got the wrong one, non the less i continued to drink it, and was about a quarter of the drink left at the bottom of the glass, i asked the server for the other drink i wanted, he said to me «Can you finish that drink before i order you another one» I looked at the drink which was almost gone, btw, then looked back at him hella crazy, and said«This drink is almost gone, by the time you get back, it will be empty and I’ll be ready for it» he replied«We just have a policy that you have you have to empty the glass before i bring you another drink» So i chugged the drink in front of him, got the worst brain freeze of my life, and slammed the glass down. and said«Now go get me the berry mango daiquiri» Now can someone please clear this up for me, cause it just didn’t make sense. I’ve waited tables, and never heard of that drink policy, so i don know if Red Lobster is only doing that, Or if this server was trying to be controlling. Like he was basically saying i could have one drink at a time, what if i wanted a shot, you’re telling me i got to finish my whole mixed drink before i can have a shot, Where do they do that at? The whole thing just rubbed me the wrong the way. Can my fellow Unilocalers share their thoughts on this experience,

The food was delicious. Friendly staff however when I first arrived it took along time for the server to come to my table just to talk a drink orders but after that it really picked up and had a good waiter. Also I noticed a lot of waitresses just standing around doing nothing at least my waiter was busy helping other people.

Endless Shrimp Survival Guide (Note our server Ben & Co did a great job keeping the plates coming & waters filled so we gave a better than 33% tip. We could not consumed that much without their teamwork.) 1. Do not schedule blood work anytime soon after this. 2. Bring friends that are ordering the Endless Shrimp to share in the experience, sauces & only 1 order of Shrimp Linguini Alfredo to share. 3. You will want palate cleansers so save some of your sides, cheddar biscuits & ordering the 1 shared Shrimp Linguini Alfredo for later. 4. Garlic Shrimp Scampi sauce is great for dipping sides & cheddar biscuits into. 5. Order the sauces on the side to trade sauces(pineapple habanero, teriyaki & cocktail) & shrimp around the table from people that ordered Endless shrimp.(My favorite is the grilled shrimp with pineapple habanero sauce.) 6. Our server Ben allowed me to just order grilled shrimp with pineapple habanero as my last order so they seem to be flexible also. 7. Do plan on going for a long walk afterwards or nap!(I made a Rottweiler very happy) We did have a wait at the bar beforehand & they offer Schlafly Pale Ale on tap so our 45 minute wait to be seated on a Saturday was not wasted. (Thanks Kurt for many of the jokes)

Great prices! Great service! Great food! All I need in a restaurant. I have been to a few locations that have really made me rethink why I ever liked red lobster restaurant chain, but this place reminded me why! This is at a great location. The service here was awesome– fast, courteous and helpful. Can’t wait to return. I love the biscuits here as well.

Great food, served quickly and correctly, and great service! I have been to other locations and been underwhelmed, but I visited this location twice in two weeks and was impressed both times. Snow crab legs were great, and those cheddar biscuits! Heaven.

We like Red Lobster, but not this experience. My husband asked for biscuits & waitress told him she could not bring them out until we had ordered. She stated People leave after ordering the biscuits, maybe its because they had this waitress! Very loud, so loud she bellowed every question and statement so that everyone around us could hear her. She could not take the hint, we are quiet and wish to enjoy our meals without being interrupted numerous times. Our entrée was served in the middle of our salads. I ordered the Lobster Wood Grilled Tacos, Where’s the Lobster? The side dish(rice) was bland and lukewarm. Our waitress seemed more interested in moving us along, presenting the bill soon after the entrees. When we left I mentioned to my husband, please lets not have this experience again!

Got the King crab legs($ 30 potential there), and they were rubbery & warm. Not hot. I didn’t eat them… I sent them back and they took it off the bill… and still charged me for my iced tea. Seriously?! Mgr tried have me a $ 10 gift card, probably will be a Christmas gift for someone else. What a shame! Red Lobster was expensive and used to be awesome. Now they’re still expensive and the food quality is cafeteria quality. Shame. Sadly, even the frozen drinks are terrible(and Island Oasis USED to make really good drink mixes). One thing that I’ve noticed, Red Lobster has become a haven for patrons who have poor manners. Burping loudly, clean clothes and bodies are rare. Again, shame.

Let me start by stating that we really enjoy Red Lobster, and we usually go to the one in Chesterfield Valley. I also realize that we went on Valentine’s Day which was on a Saturday this year. All the years we have been going to and enjoying this Red Lobster we were under the impression that they did NOT take reservations or offer call ahead seating, boy did we find out differently last night. We arrived at about 4:45 pm and was told it would be a two hour wait –that’s right 2 hours. Husband said OK since they usually get people in much quicker. Not only did it take the full two hours, I got to stand there and watch person after person arrive after us and be seated almost immediately. I decided to ask the manager what the policy was, he informed us that they do not take reservations but offer call ahead seating. I have never been to a restaurant that offers call ahead seating a week in advance — I believe that is called a reservation. Finally, after 2 hours we get seated, in the worst seat in the house! I was tired and getting grumpy and stated I was unhappy — we got a great table within 1 minute! That was the bad part of the evening. Our server was wonderful, the service was wonderful, the food was wonderful and we left happy and full. Note to self — order in next Valentine’s Day!

I love seafood… I’m not a fan of high prices for seafood when the plates are small. I hadn’t been to Red Lobster in years. We gathered for a surprise birthday party. They do not take reservations however they will tell you if you call/show up an hour before the time you’d like they will accommodate you. To an extent they will however they will make you wait longer than what they say. We finally got seated and the service was fine the entire night. My husband ordered cajun pasta while I inquired about clam strips and fries, which they have but it is not on the menu — you have to ask for it specifically. Pair any of the meals with their awesome cheddar biscuits and you will leave quite full!

It is amazing I love it. I want to go there all the time! They have the best shrimp I’ve ever tasted. The service was very good too! Some prices may be high depending on the dish, but all together it’s great! Now I go back there 1 a month!

Here’s the thing you need to understand about Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster: There’s no way you can eat enough shrimp to cause a significant amount of damage to Red Lobster financially. Someone from Reddit already did the math a long time ago. The way it works is, the more shrimp you eat, the less they cost Red Lobster on a per-shrimp basis. They cost so little that you’d have to eat more than your body weight in shrimp to «get over» on Red Lobster. Not even Kobayashi can eat that many shrimp. (Incidentally, there was a crab legs promotion, back in the ‘00s, in which you really could get over on Red Lobster, and it almost put them out of business. Their CEO at the time was fired and probably murdered by the Illuminati.) It helps to know going in that there’s no way you can«win» Endless Shrimp because it makes for a more enjoyable, less stressful dining experience. For example, I’ve seen people on the Internets arguing that you should avoid eating any Cheddar Bay Biscuits, to make sure you get your money’s worth. This is ridiculous both in the sense that it’s just plain not true, and perhaps most importantly, in the sense that a Cheddar Bay Biscuit is one of the most delicious things you can possibly eat. It’s basically just carbs and cheese soaked in butter. The only good reason not to eat as many of them as you possibly can is because you want to save at least _some_room for an entrée — and a case could be made for going to Red Lobster and not eating anything other than Cheddar Bay Biscuits. In fact, they won’t serve Cheddar Bay Biscuits to anyone who doesn’t eventually order an entrée for precisely that reason. One of you fools must have tried it. This year, six entrees are included as part of the Endless Shrimp promotion. They start you with two, and they make you order refills one at a time, lest you try to take home 10 plates of food in a doggy bag. I ended up eating all six, and truth be told, I probably could have eaten at least 12, but I’m roughly the size of the average NFL linebacker, if not quite as athletic(if you can imagine). Your mileage may vary, and like I said, there’s no point in trying to tempt fate. Start with the ones you’d most like to try and then see how you feel. Below are my brief thoughts on each entrée: Sriracha Grilled Shrimp — This is literally just grilled shrimp on a skewer with a little Sriracha squirted on them. I couldn’t help but chuckle a bit when the server brought it out. Parmesan Shrimp Scampi — Shrimp Scampi is maybe the most famous Red Lobster menu item other than Cheddar Bay Biscuits. It’s shrimp floating in a trough of clarified butter, and it’s as delicious-tasting as it is unhealthy-sounding. Parmesan Shrimp Scampi adds a layer of melted Parmesan cheese. If you only get one Shrimp Scampi, you #midaswhale get the Parmesan one. If you’re at all concerned with your health, you shouldn’t order Endless Shrimp in the first place. Hand-Breaded Shrimp — Your classic fried shrimp, like you’d get almost anywhere. It might be their best entrée, if only because it’s almost impossible to fuck up. Garlic Shrimp Scampi — Parmesan Shrimp Scampi minus the Parmesan. It tastes almost exactly like a Cheddar Bay Biscuit, to the point where it’s kinda disturbing. Seafood shouldn’t taste exactly like bread, and vice versa. If you dip a Cheddar Bay Biscuit into the butter from Shrimp Scampi, it automatically voids your health insurance. Even ObamaCare. Shrimp Linguini Alfredo — The pasta is surprisingly decent, given that Red Lobster is owned by the same company as Olive Garden. It’s at least sturdy enough to pick up with a fork. The shrimp are those tiny shrimp you put in a salad, which I’d never seen in an entrée before, but at least you get like 60 of them. And the Alfredo sauce is rich to the point where it makes Shrimp Scampi seem healthy. Coconut Shrimp Bites — I was wondering what they meant by «shrimp bites.» These are, again, those tiny shrimp you’d put in a salad, this time deep fried in a coconut batter. If they used the same shrimp they use for the Hand-Breaded Shrimp, these would be on point. Alas, they almost certainly come frozen and pre-breaded. Endless Shrimp is one of those things you should try at some point in your life if only for shits and giggles. Obviously, the food is not the best in the world, but I honestly didn’t find it to be half bad. And while there’s no way you can eat $ 16 worth of shrimp at Red Lobster, you still end up with more seafood in one sitting than you’ve ever eaten. Think of how much the same amount of shrimp would run you at Long John Silvers. This is a no-brainer.

Endless shrimp is back and we had to go check it out out again this year. The restaraunt its very clean which I appreciate, we were seated quickly(another bonus) and our server was there with drink orders quickly and ready with the yummy biscuits. The server was friendly and efficient. The shrimp was good, some orders took a little long to get out, but to be expected since that is why the restaraunt was packed in the first place. I loved the linguini shrimp. Creamy, alfredo with perfectly cooked pasta. Coconut shrimp was on the sweeter side, and an interesting sweet sauce. Should save that for last. Popcorn shrimp was super crispy and fried. Scampi and parm were good as well. I didnt try the Sriracha one, but fiancée sad wasnt bad. Happy with the shrimp. I will admit the side dishes were sub par at best, I get it… who goes for the side dishes? but it’s a review so I’m including it! My broccoli was not good. It had Brown stems, dry, flavorless. Fiancée’s fries were cold, no salt and one could tell they had been sitting for awhile. If you like mayo, then you will love the Cesar salad. It had Caesar tang with a mayo creaminess to it. I oddly liked it, but it wasnt real Caesar dressing. Overall, yes, we will go back once more before promotion ends… any other time, doubtful.

Once again we got mediocre service. It is down to the point now if the servers I know are good ones are not working then I will not stay. I am sure they are trying hard but inconsistent food and service quality does not get my repeat business.

My girlfriend and I were on our way to the St. Louis Premium Outlets, and got lunch for shopping fortification. She chose the restaurant, Neither of us have been to a Red Lobster for years, and I think we figured out the last time we were together at a Red Lobster was after shopping around South County Mall. She got crab legs and broccoli. I got a two shrimp dishes combo –shrimp scampi and a pinwheel skewer — and broccoli($ 10.49). Our server, Jennifer, was fabulous on water and beverage($ 2.59) refills. And she offered melted butter for our broccoli. We both accepted. The food was great. My girlfriend shared a piece of her crab, and it was delicious. My shrimp were quite tasty. Certainly not overcooked. Tender and juicy. We left with great to-go vessels, and I got her broccoli. What I took home lasted three meals. This was really good food. But I do have to say that those cheddar biscuits were not great. They were greasy and rather tasteless. I’d skip them.

Always liked this Red Lobster location. This time I had a little issue with a food item. The server and manager went above and beyond resolving the issue and making sure I was satisfied and it was only a lunch item. Will come back for sure!

I am a huge fan of this location in the Chesterfield valley. Julien took care of our table quite well. He came by several times to refill our drinks and provide us with the delicious cheese biscuits that I quite enjoy. Mmmm, garlic cheese biscuits. What was I going to write about? Oh yeah, the food and the ambiance. This location is a lot more open than a lot of other Red Lobsters that I have visited, especially the run down location in South County. I ordered a lobster fettuccine dish, which ended up having a lot of flavor and some virgin olive oil. It ended up being a perfect choice with the garlic cheese biscuits. Crud, my mind keeps going back to the cheese biscuits. The only thing that I didn’t like was their take on the ceaser salad. You could tell that the dressing was bottled and not quite fresh. It had a mayonnaise taste, which I didn’t like. The manager definitely had an interest in how we thought of the food and the service and we gave props to Julien. This is a definite place to come back to in the future!

This is my favorite Red Lobster in the St. Louis area. It’s not near as hectic or crowded as the Red Lobster in South County on Lindbergh(nightmare), and I think the service & atmosphere are superior at this location, too. My favorite lunch is the beer battered shrimp(which I’ve uploaded a photo of). My favorite dinner option is the create your own«shrimp & clam strips» combo. Yum! Love their baked potatoes(sea salted & crisp on the outside) and their salad too. Don’t even get me started on their garlic cheese rolls or their giant cookie lava cake dessert. They’re both so delish! I’m not a chain snob, or rather … I’m not one of those people who thinks all chain restaurants are bad. In fact I like them best most often, because they’re consistent, and they seem to give you more for your money … things like salads and fresh bread are included, which is always a big plus for me. That being said, Red Lobster is a-ok by me!
