Awesome fast food. I haven’t had much luck with Korean food in the NE, so I didn’t expect too much here. Yet, this place was great.(I’ve been there four times already in the past 3 weeks.) For $ 10, you can get 3 tacos(you can mix them up) and a drink. My favorite is the pork belly. The Bee Bim Bap was delicious, with tons of veggies and meat on top. They’d give you a side of very delicious potato salad with any of the rice dishes. Try the Korean wings and share them with friends. Be sure to sign up for the frequent card on the tablet by the cashier, because you will definitely come back over and over again.

Great food made fresh and hot! Was really fast, very impressed. Had the steak bowl, steak quesadilla and potstickers. Everything was delicious.

We went here for dinner and pretty much went round robin on the menu minus the Mexican. Stuck with Korean theme. Not sure if they were off their game that night at this location so I will keep it at 3 stars. My Bibimbop was good. Family didn’t eat their platters for a variety of reasons. Then, they my daughter got sick the next day. May just be coincidence I hope, but I’m not sure.

I had been wanting to try Kim Cheese so I went through the drive thru and ordered 1 steak taco and 1 veggie quesadilla. The veggie quesadilla turned out to be a tortilla filled with cheddar cheese and pico de gallo. That’s it. The steak taco was a tortilla filled with steak(we’ll get to that later), lettuce, white onion, pico de gallo, corn, and black beans. Now I need to address the steak in the steak taco. It was chewy and lacked any kind of discernible flavor. Bulgogi beef should taste of soy, sweetness, sesame, perhaps some citrus… Nothing. Totally flat. After two bites I never wanted to see it again. The condiments were two cups of very mediocre salsa and one cup of sour cream. There was actually no Asian taste at all here. Head to Delmar and go to the other Korean taco place. It’s light years ahead.

I don’t know if we went on a bad night or what. Based on all of the great reviews, was really looking forward to our visit. For starters, the smell in the air was so strong that we had to wash our clothes and hair to get it out when we got home. Ventilation was poor. Our order was not correct. The burger was different with the kimchi on it, but nothing that would compel me to go out of my way to have again. The restrooms are not clean, used a towel to turn on the faucet as it appeared to not have been cleaned well for a long time. I understand they are opening an additional location, so perhaps there has been a distraction with the new place.

I’m a big fan of Seoul taco so it was only right for me to come check this place out. The place was defiantly anatomically a fast food joint but did not feel like too much like one. While they may not have had much space, the interior of the place was surprisingly homey. Service was quick, friendly, and patient. I had the chicken bi bim bap and a fish taco. The chicken bi bim bap was very colorful and full of fresh vegetables. I enjoyed how the meal came with a couple traditional Korean side dishes. One thing I found unique about the bi bim bap is that they had thinly sliced raw cucumber in it rather than zucchini as a lot of other bi bim naps will use. The cucumber in my opinion really made this dish pop. The chicken itself was fine, but felt a bit lacking in it’s marinade. I wish it had been a bit more spicy or sweet. The gochujang was a bit on the weaker side and I had to use the full serving to get just a little bit of spice. The fried fish pollack taco was excellent. The fish was hot and juicy and I found Korean sauce on this Mexican style fried fish taco to be a really good fit. Fish taco 8.5÷10 Chicken bi bim bap 7⁄10 Atmosphere 6⁄10(really good for a fast food place) Service 9⁄10 Would return? Absolutely, the burritos and burgers here need to be meticulously studied.

I have been to both locations, with similar experiences at both. I generally get the 3 taco combo, although I have also tried the burrito. My favorite is the Kimchi Pork Belly, which is delicious. It has a very interesting combination of flavors which you need to try to fully appreciate. You can get different kinds of meat with the 3 taco combo, so if you aren’t 100% sure about a given type of taco, you have options. Be aware this location is much smaller than the other, so it can get a little crowded during peak business if you want to dine in. It definitely has that warm, small family-owned business vibe, which I like. As other reviewers have stated, the bathrooms are quite small. Despite having fresh delicious food, they manage to prepare it fairly quickly, so this is a great spot to stop for a quick lunch.

Super friendly, family owned, good prices, delicious food – I honestly have no complaints. I got the steak bowl and was happy with it. The fried rice was flavored nicely(not too salty, tender rice cooked just right), meat was flavorful and tender, the sides were tasty. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Really good. I’m super picky when it comes to the quality of ingredients, however as a college student, the quality is usually replaced with a quick meal. This is such a great option and very close to my campus. I went here for the first time today and took a friend to be a ginny pig with me. We both loved it. He got the chicken tacos I believe, and I got the bee bim bap with chicken. Ugh SO incredible. I was amazed at how delicious the chicken was and how fresh the ingredients were. There wasn’t a sauce or at least one that I noticed(seasonings were added though) which I liked because I got the raw flavor of ingredients. It’s one of those places you can eat till you’re full but not hate yourself afterwards for. A huge variety of people were eating here and the prices are very reasonable. The place was kept clean and the service was excellent. I will definitely return!!!

Expect to wait for your food, drive thru or inside, it’s prepared fresh and is worth the wait. The tacos offer fresh flavors in each bite. The place is nothing special but you can always count on a well made and fresh meal for a good price.

Really good place. Picked up dinner to-go before picnicing at Faust. They were fast and friendly. The food was really good. I would say it’s equivalent to Chipotle, but being local and more fun fusion cuisine puts them over the top. I had the spicy pork burrito based on other reviews. It hit the spot and had the perfect spice level that just lingered. My wife got a rice bowl packed with veggies and flavor. We will definitely drive by the two Chipotles on the way to enjoy Kim Cheese again!

Been here several times, I’ve only ever had tacos, but I’ve tried them all and they’re all excellent. Very good food, especially at the price. My whole family loves it too, wife and daughters(10 and 13). Stop by and put some in your face!

Fast, fresh, funky food! Korean Mexican! I had the steak burrito with avocado and split potstickers with my guy who had the kimchi burger and cheese fries. It was all really good and flavorful! The potstickers were the standout for me with lots of herbs in them. They come 2 to an order. The burrito was huge. I picked up the first half to eat it but was getting full by the second half and ended up picking it apart for all the best bits. I’ll definitely stop in again when I’m in the area.

The venue is small but the food is superb. I got there really hungry and ordered a kimcheese burger and a spicy pork burrito to satiate my craving. The burrito was jammed with fried rice, spicy pork, tomato salsa and lettuce. The marinated spicy pork was full of flavors and had a slight chew to it. The kim cheese burger features bulgogi with kimchi instead of beef patties. The creaminess of the cheese that smothered the bulgogi meshed well with the kimchi slaw. The ingredients were fresh and the Korean — Mexican flavor hit was as palatable as anticipated. Using a similar restaurant on the Delmar loop as my reference point for Korean-Mexican fusion, my verdict for Kim Cheese: 5⁄5. I’m agog to try their tacos next time!

Definitely a fan of Kim Cheese. Super tasty, and quick food. I had the pork belly and fish tacos. Really great stuff. I just moved out pretty close to this location so I’m sure I’ll be frequenting here more. Excited to try more!

I’ve been waiting to try this place for a couple years now. I haven’t been able to try because I don’t frequent out in chesterfield area much. Today I finally got a chance to try it out! We ordered the kim cheese burger which was absolutely phenomenal!!! This was so good! I’m not sure if it was the mayo, the bun, or beef, Kim chi, or maybe it was everything. The bun was super light! It’s not your typical hamburger bun. It was very fluffy! Like a croissant! We also ordered bee bim bop! It was good but deff. different. The rice wasn’t hot, it was room temp. The beef was hot, and the veggies were cold. So it was a funky combination but still good. I think I would prefer the burger over the bee bim bop. And of course… we ordered the cheese fries! They were sooo delicious! The only complaint I have about this place is the restroom! OMG! It looks super scary. Not well lit and very narrow! Their restrooms are not made for big or bigger people, I feel bad for the ones that have to use it but when you gotta go. You gotta go lol. I will deff. return here whenever I’m in the area!

Decided to stop in Kim Cheese since we were in the area… soooo glad that we did! The place is smallish and really doesn’t have a lot of curb appeal, but don’t let that stop you. We were greeted right away and the girls behind the counter were very helpful with ideas on what we should try. We ended up getting the steak quesadillas and the spicy pork bowl with rice and avocado. The food was fantastic!!! I rarely eat that much food at one sitting but it was difficult to stop. I can’t wait to come back to try something else on the menu… the burger looks really, really good too! They also had a drive thru in case you’re in a hurry.

Man, Kim Cheese is my new taco place. This place is awesome! I’ve had every type of taco and a couple bowls to make sure I can write a fair review. First off their ingredients are very fresh and high quality. Their beef is cut ribeye so that is definitely a plus. Out of their taco’s I prefer the beef and chicken over the pork. The beef and chicken don’t have a strong taste in comparison to the pork, which they marinade as a Korean Spicy Pork flavor. You get more of the full taste of the taco with Beef and Chicken. I got the beef bowl and that thing is deceptively big. It comes out and it doesn’t look like that much food but in reality it filled me up. It has a nice mix of rice beef veggies and an egg so if that sounds good, definitely order that. The pricing is a little high, tacos are 2.50 each for something about the same size as a taco bell soft shell, the bowl was 10 dollars. Pot stickers were, meh not gonna get em again.

Korean-Mexican is one of my favorite fusion cuisines. Having had Kogi Truck in L.A., the Seoul Taco Truck, and other establishments in this category, I had high expectations coming in – and Kim Cheese delivered. The food. I had the Kimcheese burger and spicy pork taco. Both were delicious. I highly recommend the spicy pork taco – each bite was dynamite. The Kimcheese burger had a lot of juicy, savory meat in it with the right amount of low-quality sour kimchi.(yes, that’s exactly the kind of kimchi that makes this dish work!) The ambience. I really like the look and feel of this place. It reminded me of a 60’s burger joint – retro, tiny, busy, and authentic. They almost made it seem like the whole Korean fusion thing had been around for the longest time. Kim Cheese reminded me of the traditional American fast-food experience but with Korean infusion – and I loved it.

So I must be odd man out, Kim Cheese has been on my list due to many five star reviews from my friends however I seemed to have a different experience. My main complaint is the inside, yes the counter is new however the rest of the place seems a little bit run down. Seating is limited, and when I had arrived there was only one booth left, and I quickly discovered why. The booth I was seated in was immediately next to the soda machine and the restroom, now that wouldn’t have been so bad however I was sitting looking towards the restroom and couldn’t help but see that the door did not go all the way to the floor. I feel that the inside could use a little bit of work, so I had to deduct a star on my rating for that. As far as the food goes I went with the Spicy Pork Burger, which is really more of a loose meat sandwich than a burger. The meat was seasoned perfectly, however it just wasn’t what I was expecting which left me just slightly disappointed. Don’t get me wrong the spicy pork was delicious, and the bun was fresh, I just think that the pork would be much better served over rice or in another way than on a bun. I personally think I ordered the wrong item, because the other items sound and look amazing. I know on my next visit I will be skipping the«burger» and hopefully it will result in an increased rating! Overall prices were reasonable, staff was friendly, however I personally feel that this location is best for carry out not dining in.
