The Chinese food was not good, flavor leaves a lot of room for improvement. Ordered the chicken gizzards and they were the toughest i have ever had in my life. The beef and broccoli was not good at all, over cooked broccoli and tough beef. Egg roll was good, but tiny. Prices were way too high for the portion sizes. First and last visit.

This is my first visit to The Rice House but I’m going to give them 5 stars. I ordered the stir — fried garlic chicken special, an egg roll and the fried rice. The garlic chicken was advertised as spicy and it was very spicy, just the way I like it. The vegetables in the garlic chicken were crisp and fresh and the dish was very hot. The fried rice was very good but it wasn’t the kind of lightly — colored fried rice you get at the national chain competitors. The egg roll was also very hot, crispy and tasted freshly-made. The prices are also comparable to those national chain Asian restaurants. One of the big differences is that The Rice House appears to have a full liquor license. They have $ 2 beers, imported beers, wine and liquor. The Rice House has an extensive menu and it includes a lot more than rice dishes. I look forward to going back again and trying some of their other items.

Person taking order at cashier was extremely rude. Short hair with thick glasses. Order was incorrect as well.
