Visited the Chesapeake, VA, Sam’s Circle location looking for a dishwasher, 6÷28÷2014. We found a model we liked and asked the salesman for information. He informed us that the only one available in that model was the display. We opened the washer and found dried Jet Dry running down the door, also found a small dent in the door. We asked the salesman if the washer was returned. He was adamant that it was NEW! He then went to the manager and arranged for a $ 150 price adjustment for the dent and because the washer was a «discontinued model.» We almost agreed to the deal until I looked at the kick plate and found it was badly bent and the screw holes looked stripped. I then checked the dishwasher filter and found food particles. Needless to say, we didn’t buy the dishwasher. My conclusion that I will share with everyone I know is that HHGregg hires dishonest salesmen. BUYERBEWARE! There is NOWAY that the salesman didn’t know that the dishwasher was returned, not new. Bad way of doing business!

My wife and I came here just to do some price shopping on new stainless steel appliances on Veteran’s Day. We ended up leaving with a new kitchen full of stainless. Not only were their prices good, the customer service was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door until the second we left, we were treated with respect and attentiveness. We never felt pressured to buy, and were only offered options, price packages and gave us the time and space to make our own decision. After we got home, I looked online and couldn’t find the same appliances anywhere else for cheaper. I’ve always experienced that you sacrifice customer service for low prices, but not so much at hhgregg. I have a feeling we’ll be regular customers in the future! Today, we went back(I thought I could remove the water line for the ice maker from our old fridge and put it on the new one — not so much) and I explained what I needed to the guy who sold us our appliances. He pulled the manager over and explained what I needed — the manager took my paperwork for the delivery, walked away and came back a couple of minutes later and said that he added it to the delivery. I asked where I had to pay for it — and he said«it’s on us, that’s how we do things at hhgregg.» Like I said, we’ll be customers for life!
