Stopped in to grab a bit to eat after a long day on the road from Michigan to Tennessee. We were greeted and sat right away, they were busy but there was no wait. Our waitress was friendly, the sweet rolls they bring to the table are good, especially for hungry kiddos. We tried the Wild West burger, the fish and chips, the California chicken salad, and the top sirloin steak. The Wild West burger was food and steak were good, and the salad was amazing– the fruit and pecans were the perfect sweet balance to The balsamic vinegarette The fish and chips had a nice coating but it wasn’t very thick, overall it was good. It was your average bar and grill with decent food, but no local beers, just the national brands. Nothing to write home about, but a solid choice.

Good old O’Charley’s. I try to stop into one or the other locations when I’m in Chattanooga purely for nostalgia’s sake. I wish I was more confident and less concerned with peer pressure, because if I was,* I would simply tell the server«Bring me those rolls, and nothing else. Continue bringing rolls until you need to bring the ambulance.» Sadly, decorum dictates diversity in dining. But the potato soup is always really good too, and there are a few other palatable options. Our servers were average at best, and the food was much as I remembered, though perhaps not as good as it was to my teenaged taste buds. If you enjoy chain fare or are out with the less adventurous, this is actually a decent choice. * Or possibly«were,» I’m beginning to think it should be.

O’Charley’s is a stop for us on our road trip from St. Louis to Myrtle Beach. It is across from some great hotels and motels so just cross the street and go. We were able to get seats at the bar and Kaycee took care of us. What a personable bartender she is. I have a feeling a lot of local people come in here just to talk to her. And to top it off, she makes a mean margarita. Mike and I decided to skip the apps and we both ordered steaks. Grilled sirloin for me and a Louisiana sirloin for him. You have a choice of two sides. I got bacon smashed potatoes and broccoli and Mike got tomato soup and a loaded baked potato. The tomato basil soup was very good. Our steaks were cooked the way we ordered them. The only draw back was the loaded baked potato. You had to pay extra to get it loaded and instead of being loaded, it was more like sprinkled. The fixings ran out long before the potato did. Would I come back again? Of course whenever we make our trek.

The prime rib here is really good on weekends but get here early enough to enjoy it as it often runs out. Sunday late in the afternoon/evening is about the latest to get here in time for it.

Nice interior. Friendly staff and good service. Kind of noisy … loud music and it makes it hard to talk. Food is good, about average, but a good variety of meals, for adults and kids. I’d recommend it for family dining. Convenient too if you’re driving along I-75 around Chattanooga.

This location is really convenient to a myriad of hotels. The staff were welcoming. The menu had decent options and the frozen drink I ordered from the bar was tasty and I didn’t have to question if there was alcohol in it. We enjoyed the prime rib special and it was an ample dinner.

The food was really good, but the service was horrible! I watched all the other waiters and waitresses greet their customers with smiles and bring food and beverages in a timely manner, but Jasmine was cut from a different, more shoddy piece of cloth. She knew nothing of the menu, she was inefficient, and her attitude wasn’t the best. She even went to touch up her awful shade of pink lipstick while our strawberry lemonade sat on the bar for ten minutes! I don’t foresee myself coming back here.

The table behind us still dirty with leftover food, trash, etc from prior guest throughout our entire visit. Floor extremely dirty. Ceiling was filthy. Really makes me wonder what the kitchen was like. It was not busy as there were 10+ tables open around us. Also, the waiter said the rolls weren’t proofed and they were out but brought some very tiny rolls out minutes later. That is quite dangerous I believe. Food was mediocre. I’ve certainly had better experiences at other locations and really enjoy the food and service. This location certainly need an evaluation of their priorities.

The food and service was great, I’ve been to other O’Charley’s and it was about the same. Nothing that really stood out, but I do love that they have free piece of dessert on Wednesdays with any meal. FREEAPPETIZER: go to and enter the zip code of the area. click on the link for O’Charleys and fill out some basic information. You will then get an email with a coupon for a free appetizer.

Food and service are definitely improved over what O’Chucks used to be. Have tried most of the $ 9.99 menu and it’s OK. French silk pie is very good. Really busy on Sunday afternoon.

Enjoyed dinner of baby back ribs, salad and sweet potato fries…10 on ribs, 9 on salad, 7 on fries they were tasty but a little to soft for me. Beer 10 for nice and cold especially with a frosty cold glasses. I am also told by my companion that the smashed potatoes and loaded baked potato soup was very good. Oh and the rolls were just out of the oven… Hot and sooooo good…

This place is The South’s version of Bennigan’s. That being said, the Cajun chicken pasta is really tasty, but I’d skip the club sandwich. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t all that great either. The mini desserts for $ 1.99 can’t be beat. The brownie lover’s brownie was awesome. Visited: April 19, 2011
