I have been here several times. Their ice cream is delicious. The service is slacking just about every time I come here. First of all, it seems they want to sing and dance about once every 2 minutes rather than wait on customers. This takes time as they stop working. There is a great big long line and this makes it even longer to get your ice cream when they do this because they stop serving customers. Furthermore, to use their bathrooms, there was a sign that says«pay $ 5 or receipt». Also, there is a guard on duty to enforce this. I was coming in here to buy ice cream anyway but still. See my picture of this and zoom in on the sign in the upper right hand corner. You can also see the guard on duty over the bathrooms. You get a bad feeling as soon as you come within one second when entering this ice cream shop. Again, another business worried more about the bathrooms than making money. To top it off, no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands.

I went to the Cold Stone Creamery and ordered a vanilla milkshake and they made a vanilla and caramel milkshake. I hate caramel so I just threw it away. My girlfriend and my best friend and his girlfriend ordered other things and they said it tasted horrible also. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Everything is overpriced also. I got a very small milkshake and it was $ 5

We walked over to Cold Stone, which was about a block from the Tennessee Aquarium. I thought it would be just like every other Cold Stone but I was wrong. The employees did a Barnum & Bailey bit where they tossed scoops of ice cream around for our entertainment. The guy who scooped out my Cake Batter ice cream tossed it up about 10 feet into the air. It traveled an arc over to a lady standing several yards away and she caught it with a Like It sized cup. Then, with considerable flair, she smashed up Butterfinger and mixed it into my scoop. Never have I seen these kinds of tricks performed at Cold Stone(or any other ice cream parlor for that matter). I kept thinking that someone would drop the ice cream but they were clearly way too experienced for that. It was pretty entertaining and the employees looked like they were having a good time. They turned a random stop for ice cream into something more memorable. Minus one star because it was a tasty treat but I wish there had been just a little more Butterfinger mixed in.
