Only travel to Charlestown occasionally, can’t comment on the coffee/other items but the brownie I had was so good, came back yesterday just to get another on a return trip. Grown up brownie, moist, not overly sweet and a very nice chunk. Small café and closes early afternoons but if you are in the area and love chocolate stop by. Service was friendly and quick as well.

Great little spot in Charlestown for coffee. Recently went from cash only to accepting credit cards which is very convenient. Iced coffee is consistent and my favorite in Boston. Staff is also always very friendly.

Sorrelle’s is my favorite coffee and sandwich shop in Charlestown. There are two locations — one in Charlestown on Monument Ave and one on Chelsea Street close to the Navy Yard. I usually go to the one on Chelsea Street because it’s on my way when I walk into Boston. They offer breakfast and lunch. They have a wide variety of pastries, salads and sandwiches. Since I work from home, it’s great to break up my time and walk over to Sorrelle’s for coffee and. I usually meet friends here. I also go to the Monument Ave location which is smaller but I live closer to the Chelsea location. I have always had good experiences with the staff. They host some of our community events and have always done a great job! They also have wine and beer though I’m usually there for coffee or lunch.

cute place still deciding on what we think of dessert. coffee tasty, hot, espresso tasty not burnt, ice coffee wonderful, café white mocha passed test, the plain NYC cheesecake was dry too dense and extremely bland. not worth wasting calories. The fruit tart was good the fruit on top was less arty than whole foods. The chocolate mousse was really a dense ganache. Too chocolatey to enjoy.

I really wanted to like this place as it is around the corner from my house. The service was rude, the girl behind the counter didn’t even look up. My chai latte was watery & flavorless and the breakfast sandwich was just kind of boring.

I want to love Sorelle because I live right down the street, but it just isn’t great. They need to get new bagels and baked goods. The bagels are bad whereas the baked goods just aren’t great(and there are so many better options just in the North End).

The first time I saw the place, it didn’t stick out to me at all. But there’s really no other coffee in maybe a 5 block radius, so I came here to study and such. What stood out to me was exactly how completely ordinary my experience was. It’s what you’d expect from a coffee shop. Nice clean seats, clean tables, sound level at a low murmur, and a decent selection. Quiche, sandwiches, and salads were all good. Not phenomenal, but definitely tasty. Service is nice and friendly, wifi is good. Only complaint would be a lack of outlets to plug my computer in, but I love coming here otherwise.

Love this place for breakfast sandwiches. Great sandwiches and salads at a reasonable price. I also work from here. Latte is perfect and the staff is VERY friendly and super-helpful. Free wifi. There are tables or bar-style areas to work from. I am here a few times a week. Love this place!

I was just in and got a chicken Cesar salad. The salad dressing was sour and went bad. When I called and complained they didn’t offer me a new salad or my money back. Horrible customer service.

I had the bagel sandwich. The bagel wasn’t bad, but the egg is some square thing and the bacon was ok. They microwaved it on front of us. I guess that’s cool. It’s not worth 5 bucks. Get something else.

We went here on Easter Sunday. They lacked some of the food options on the menu as they come from outside bakeries that were closed on Easter Sunday. Bummer, because some of them looked really good, too! However, the latte was super sweet and I was not able to finish it(which says a lot). The sandwich and scone we also got were good, but not amazing. There is a small place to sit but the café is not terribly spacious. Overall a good experience, and would probably be better when not coming on a holiday weekend.

Hello Charlestown, Hello Sorelle! First neighborhood bakery trip, based on tips from the friendly neighbors — loved it! A small space tucked away in one of the beautiful quiet lanes in the Charlestown area, the bakery holds a nice assortment of pastries, loose leaf teas and sandwiches/breakfast fare. Spent a laid back Sat morning, with a delicious almond croissant and green tea and soaked in my first New England weekend. Will be back!

Cute little corner café in a residential neighborhood. Fresh sandwiches, bagels, muffins and other items for breakfast and lunch. Not much seating. Fast and friendly service. I had a good bagel sandwich for a late breakfast after about killing myself climbing the 294 stairs up the Bunker Hill Monument. Would recommend.

If you’re coming through for a convenient, to-go order, you’re gonna have a bad time. The irony of this ‘convenient’ location is that they don’t take credit cards. Service took 10 minutes to make 2 lattes, in which the server wasn’t sure which one was which(flavor, decaf), and the lid wouldn’t stay on. Also drink was super syruppy. The beverage was hot, so I guess that part was correct. Rant over, but seriously Starbucks, please come to Charlestown soon.

A little slow in making simple sandwiches, but the sandwiches are very delicious. Have had the prosciutto w/goat cheese and figs and tuna aoili. prosciutto was one of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had. Very good. Ice coffee was strong too. Prices are high for just sandwiches, so not an everyday thing for sure, but once in a while is worth it.

The sandwiches are a little expensive, but they’re good. Really good. And in Charlestown, there really aren’t many options, so I do appreciate Sorelle. This particular location is cash only and is tiny. If you walk a block down though to city square, that location does take cards, and has a bit more room to sit and work.

This place was good, not great. We were in the area since we were visiting the USS Constitution. I grabbed a cup of coffee(pretty good) and was recommended the lemon chicken wrap. It wasn’t anything spectacular. My boyfriend got the turkey, Havarti, dill, and tomato pressed sandwich. THAT was definitely worth the price. It wasn’t extremely busy when we got there, but I guess they called my food while I was preparing my coffee. After I realized it had been a while, I stood at the counter to see what the deal was. Since there was a line, I didn’t want to jump in(especially since they probably remembered I just ordered a few minutes ago). Nada. So after waiting in line, they handed my food on a plate that had been sitting there waiting for me. No big deal, but I thought it was a bit strange that they saw me lingering around the counter and my food clearly sitting there next to them waiting. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. If I was hungry, I would go back(especially since there’s nothing else open there on the weekend).

BREAKFAST bakery heaven! Yes — on my way to the Monument to meet up with friends, I popped into the bakery around 8am on a Saturday morning. There were only a couple of other people there(which is good because it’s a small space) and no line at the counter. I placed my b-fast order with a cheerful young lady and(moments later) had my bagel inna bag and was headed out the door! It’s a great place if you want a local café instead of a chain, but your still end up paying«urban» prices — in ca$h-only. I grabbed my yummies and had a fabulous picnic breakfast on the Hill(love it). PRO: *freshly baked bagel selection is great and plentiful *The«Dill Havarti, Tomato & Egg Bagel Sandwich»(3.69) is delicious and the perfect size(watch it — this one drips a little bit because of all the juicy goodness!). Scrumptious protein and creamy cheese. It wasn’t cut very well, but it was an easy remedy. *Lots of muffins, croissants, coffee, cake, and cookies/bars for sale(1.80−2.80 = a little pricy). CON: *their menu is front and center, meaning: if you’re NOT a regular you have to gawk up at the list until you’ve made your hasty selection. *Iced Chai Tea Latte with soy(med 3.29) — a little over-priced(this shouldn’t cost as much as my breakfast sandwich). It was good, but it wasn’t 3.29 good. *******CASH — ONLY******** Found this one out the hard way(good thing I had a 10 $ on me).

You can’t go wrong with a Zagat sticker on the window and I love the Philippe Stark chairs! Very modern and very cool. It’s a great place to have coffee, tea and breakfast before hiking the Bunker Hill. I had the Havarti, Dill, Tomato and Egg Bagel and a cup of French roasted coffee. It was pretty good. The staff here is very nice and the price is very reasonable. I love it. :) Wi-Fi availability: Yes
